My partner and I stayed 8 nights at Todd's perfect Maui condo. The condo unit itself is spacious and very comortable complete with all the amenities to make the stay enjoyable. The bathrooms are state of the art, and all of the furnishings were very deluxe. Todd has also provided snorkeling equipement for use as well a boogie boards to test out the surrounding beaches. We would definitely return and stay at this condo should our travels bring us back to Maui.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Todd's place on Maui. The property was spotless. Everything was very clean well organized. The furniture was also very nice, and the bed was big and very comfortable. There were many paintings in the condo, as well--all of which made it feel very rich and well appointed. The view from the patio was great--you looked out across some of the manicured lawns to another part of Maui, and to the left out to Lanaii. We would definitely book this place again.

Thanksgiving in Paradise!

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday on Maui at Todd's condo. It was absolutely everything he describes, and more. It gave us a real sense of returning home each afternoon or evening when we were done exploring the island and needed to wind down. It's impeccable, Todd has excellent taste in furnishings, and being able to make some of our meals meant we were able to splurge on some other experiences. We will definitely look into availability the next time we return to the island! I highly recommend renting from Todd when you are looking into a trip to Maui!

The view at this condo is exquisite! A must see for sure! We loved everything about it. Opened the sliders at both ends of the place and had a great breeze totally canceling the need for air conditioning. Todd was fantastic to work with and has great taste. This condo is definitely a cut above the rest! We enjoyed the book of recommended dining options put together by Todd and had a top notch experience dining at the 4 Seasons with great friends. We were treated like royalty at the mention of Todd's name! Seated at table 52 in time for a glorious sunset, waited on hand and foot by very attentive staff and a champagne toast on the house to boot! Definitely stay here! I certainly look forward to staying again!

Fabulous Honeymoon Vacation!!!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to land a stay in Todd's beautifully appointed condo for our honeymoon. We were greeted with a luscious Hawaiian fruit and champagne basket as well as a clean and tastefully decorated home for Maui exploring! The pineapple was the best we ever tasted! Nothing like Hawaiian fruit! We arrived at night so had no idea what was in store for us upon awakening. When we woke up and walked out to the oceanside lanai, we were overcome with the beauty of the island--and all from our own porch! We could not have had a better time. Todd made reservations for us at his table at Spago's, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal with an unforgettable sunset! The memories will last a lifetime! Thanks Todd for your unforgettable generosity and sharing your beautiful home with Jim & I during our special time!

Perfect Place to Spend Our Honeymoon!

My wife and I loved staying at Todd's condo earlier this month for our honeymoon. The whole experience was just perfect and so much better than staying at an impersonal (and overpriced hotel.) Todd was so great to work with and he made himself very available if we had any needs at all. He even offered to put a word in for us at some of the nice restaurants in Maui where he's a regular. One of my favorite parts was definitely all the beach supplies they had on hand in the unit. The beach chairs, beach umbrellas, snorkel gear, and coolers were all used regularly by us during our stay. They made the whole beach experience so much more fun without any hassle of renting anything at all. By the way, if you're a nerd like me and wanted to know in advance, the TV in the unit has a couple HDMI plugs. If you wanted to bring your laptop and hook it up to the TV via HDMI to watch some videos (or instant Netflix via in-unit WiFi) when you're tired of the sun, then that's all there for you. Sitting out on the lanai and having breakfast in the unit each morning was perfect. You feel very secluded out there and you have a great view of the ocean between some palm trees. Watching sunsets there later at night was amazing as well. The last thing I would mention is that this place had the cleanliness of a hotel room. Todd has a cleaning person come in to the unit between guests and makes the place feel brand new. All the towels are folded hotel style. At the end of our time there, we asked Todd what we could do to help clean up. All he said was 'Just put dirty towels in the laundry basket.' Of course, we tidied up best we could on our own. But, to not stress about totally cleaning up the place perfectly was amazing. I would highly recommend this place (and will be recommending it) to friends and family and to any VRBO'ers. The place is so affordable for what you're getting. You're not right on the beach, but who cares? You can see the ocean from the front porch. You're not going to want to stick to one beach in Maui the whole time anyway. You're going to want to hop in the car and go explore. Todd's condo is a restful place to come home to after a day of exploring Maui and we felt completely at home. Thank you Todd! -Alex and Stacey

Todd, We had a fabulous time staying at your lovely condo on Maui. The location of the condo was excellent, and many things we couldn't bring (like beach chairs and towels) were provided! The bed and bedding were especially comfortable. The view, of course, was enchanting. Mahalo!

My husband and I rented Todd's condo from Feb 13 to 24, 2012 and enjoyed it so much we are booked again for Feb 2013. Our first visit to Maui was in 2011 and we stayed in a decent place just down the road. But for our 2012 visit we wanted something more up scale and now we can't imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Maui. I agree with everything in the other reviews - there is nothing more to add since the other guests have covered all the bases and they are bang on. Maui is a wonderful place to visit and staying at Todd's condo....................well, it just feels like you've come home!

My husband and I have visited Maui for the past 25+ years. The last 15 visits have been to Maui Kamaole, so we have stayed in lots of condos. This was our first stay at Todd's condo, but will not be our last. We were there for almost 4 weeks. It's hard to know where to begin describing the wonderful visit we had in Todd's Maui Paradise, so I'll begin with the parking space! This is the best parking space in the entire complex!! It is literally only steps away from the front door. When you are carrying luggage, groceries and beach stuff in and out, you will understand what I mean!!. Then you walk into a beautifully decorated condo!! Everything is first class. Comfortable bed with beautiful linens, thirsty, thick towels, fantastic art work (I want that doggy picture) and a FULL size washer and dryer. Everything is clean, neat and LABELED!!! I loved the tile floors,,,so clean, and the lovely new area rugs. Then, there's the newly remodeled bathrooms...WOW!! The nicest ones I have ever seen in a condo, and there really is room enough for two in the shower!!! Another first for us was that Todd actually gives you a closet in the living room that will hold your empty luggage...no more trying to hide it behind doors and under the bed!! The kitchen is especially neat, clean and well equipped with new, top of the line cookware and, again, everything is LABELED. There is a nice selection of books if you did not bring enough books with you, and lots of DVD's...if you prefer to watch TV over sitting on the Lanai and looking at the beautiful view from there...it is an awesome view. Todd has provided a wonderful picnic basket, nice, thick beach towels and great beach chairs and umbrellas. Everything you need to sit on the beach everyday!!! He even has blankets to go watch sunrise from the volcano. Honestly, we've done that and really prefer sunset...but you might still need the blankets even for sunset. It's the most amazing sunset you will ever see. There are many, many great places to eat within walking distance and Todd has menu's and his recommendations all neatly bound together in a notebook...it's very handy!! In my opinion, Todd has gone the extra mile for his guests; he is easy to communicate with and a real nice host. You won't regret your stay...you will want to live there!! Todd's Maui Kamaole abode will make you homesick! You'll want this for your home year around and be heartsick when you board that plane back to the mainland. What a premier experience. Every amenity is within your reach and the aestectics of this slice of paradise go far beyond the 5-star designer bath rooms, bedroom, kitchen, dining and living room. The lanai will become your escape, with palm tree swept views of the ocean. We could cook a gourmet meal with local ingredients then sit outside to watch the sun set on the water and the painted sky over the western mountains. As a yearly visitor to Hawaii, this was a breathtaking experience. Staying at Maui Kamaole in this gorgeous unit was better than staying at a resort. Every morning I could walk to my choice of breakfast haunts. What was unique this visit? Having the snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, coolers and more in my own closet ensured that I went to a different beach every day instead of sitting in the same chair at the same resort's pool or sand. I saw more of Maui than I had ever experienced. Going to the local markets for fresh caught fish, upland veggies or organic beef enhanced my dining experience. This palatial property is so close and convenient to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. I felt centrally located to all the best Maui has to offer. If you like to pamper yourself...this unit is the place! Mahalo!

This lovely condo is the perfect place for an ideal holiday. The owner even furnishes everything you need for the beach and/or a picnic. The view is sublime. We had a wonderful and peaceful holiday with spectacular views.

My wife and I had a great stay at the “little grass shack.” It’s a very comfortable and spacious condo, with a fantastic lanai and ocean view. The condo is one of the closest to the beach, and the complex is in a great location… walking distance to some great beaches, bars, and nightlife; but far enough out of the busy areas to be quiet and peaceful. I really appreciated some of the extra details about this condo; like beach toys for use by the residents: fins, masks, snorkels, and boogie boards… also a water filter container in the fridge and free high speed wireless internet (may have come from a neighbor, not sure). I enjoyed morning runs along the beaches either north or south, made great use of the onsite tennis courts and pools, made some turtle friends by the rocks outside the Five Palms (Rays, amazing fish, and coral to be found as well), and of course really liked the happy hour Mai Tais at the Five Palms (five minute walk from the condo).

This place really exceeded our expectation. It is very well decorated, clean and has tons of useful stuff in the house (picnic basket, cooler, etc). The property is very quite. It has a great view from the patio. Beaches, shops, grocery stores are all within a 5min drive. If you are looking to stay in southern Maui within paying paying the extreme prices of the resorts, then this is the place to stay. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Home Away From Home in Beautiful Maui.

My wife and I had a magical trip to Maui in early June 2010, and spent a week in Todd's nicely appointed condo at Maui Kamaole. Todd was extremely helpful prior to our trip and provided guidance and info on nearby restaurants, bars, etc. The condo itself has been recently renovated and comes equipped with all provisions you might need for the week; beach chairs and towels, snorkeling gear, picnic basket, etc. The lanai offers fantastic views of West Maui and evening sunsets. The Kamaole complex is well taken care of and conveniently located across from Kam III beach between Kihei and Wailea. Overall, we would rate this condo very highly; we had the holiday of our lives and will definitely be back!!!

Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A Perfect Holiday

Each morning as we walked out of the bedroom, we were greeted afresh by a spectacular scene of the ocean with palm trees swaying in the breeze. This was the best part of Todd's condo - the amazing view, whether having breakfast on the lanai or watching the sun set in the evening. The condo is just as Todd describes - very tastefully decorated, comfortable bedding and the extras like coolers and beach chairs were great for the many beaches we visited and the tours around the island. We love the Kihei area - we think it has the best weather and there are lots of shops and restaurants just down the street. The Maui Kamaole resort is lush with flowering bushes and exotic trees and Todd's condo is close to the heated pool. This is the second time we have chosen this resort and would definitely return here again.A few highlights of this trip included: whale watching, checking out the art in Lahaina, wine and cheese at sunset on Kam.III Beach, walking the boardwalk in Wailea (great start to the morning), breakfast at Charley's in Paia, dinners at Spago's and Ruth's Chris, sunrise at Haleakala, upcountry tour ( horseradish goat cheese from Surfing Goat Dairy is great on steak), and so many beaches - Big Beach, Wailea, Ulua, Kaanapali, Fleming and of course the Kamaole Beaches.

We are home and unpacked and missing the comforts and beauty of our Maui home. The condo was spotless and was stocked with anything and everything you could possibly want or need!!! The location totally met our needs. We loved the beautiful view of the ocean and seeing the whales splashing in the water. What a beautiful property, in a beautiful location with a beautiful view!!! Dear Todd, Your condo was exactly what you promised, it is beautiful. I love the tile floor that goes all the way out to the lanai it made the lanai an extension of the living room we were out there frequently especially to watch the sun set. The big comfortable bed and linens made your place such a relaxing vacation. Thank you for the use of your condo.

"We had a wonderful time in your condo! The view was beautiful and we enjoyed having breakfast and evening drinks on the lanai. The bathrooms are beautiful and we loved the floors throughout, the ceiling fans and the comfy bed. This place definitely exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!!" *Allison and Jason purchased their stay in my condo at a fundraiser for NYU School of Law organized by one of my dearest friends, Ms. Marsha Metrinko. All proceeds went to support the NYU School of Law. I was happy to donate this to Marsha's cause as she has supported SOOOO many of my fundraising efforts through the years.

"HOw wonderful to spend three amazing weeks in paradise in such a great condominium! Your home is well equipped - and with so many little touches like the beach chairs and towels, the beach and picinic coolers and the plastic (outside) wine glasses and wine cooler that we could take to the shore for sunset! Our grandchildren gave us this wonderful trip for our Golden Anniversary (the 50 years)and told us we should go to other islands (as well) - but we both agreed that staying here was more than we had hoped for, so neither of us wanted to leave. Thanks you so much for arranging for us to get 'your' table at Spago in the Four Seasons, by the way, it was heaven! With much gratitude - Hattie and Eli"

"We really enjoyed staying at this condo! Wonderful view, great decor, everything in it's place! We love the area and location. Thanks for providing beach chairs and towels! Our trip was great - we saw whales, ate delicious fish (Hula Grill, Kimo's) & RELAXED! Wish we could have stayed longer! Mahalo - "
