Had a great time staying here. My two young boys liked the Murphy bed and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable which was a nice surprise compared to other vacation condos we have rented in the past. The place was as advertised, with a well equipped kitchen, lots of DVDs, and close to the pool and beach and tennis courts right outside the building. Appreciated the locker with beach toys and umbrellas and chairs also. Thanks for letting us share your place.

Convenient Clean Comfortable Condo

We had another super Sea Colony vacation; this was our 7th year, but our first time staying in the high rises. We are a family of 4 - mom, dad, and 2 school age girls. We found the condo to be clean, convenient and well equipped. Not having to bring our own linens, papergoods, or beach things was a huge benefit. And I have to point out that the Murphy bed is a perfect choice by the owners; it makes the condo extremely comfortable at night, but folds up to allow the family to enjoy the living room during the day. The only thing that the condo might have had to make our stay even more convenient would have been a set of drawers or other storage in the living room for the kids' clothes. Overall, we had everything we needed for a fabulous vacation. We plan to return in 2013!

A Wonderful vacation condo

Our family had a wonderful vacation staying in this clean, well furnished and well maintained condo. It had all we needed for our vacation. Well organized clean kitchen, very comfortable beds with clean linnen, clean bathrooms... Our kids liked the DVD collection and games. This unit has many books,DVD and games. In additon it has conviniently located parking and locker for beach items(the owner provided chairs, umbrelas...which was great!). We were also provided with clean linnen and towels for the bathroom. We really liked this place and had a wonderful vacation. Thank you very much!

Great vacation. The condo is clean and comfortable. We have stayed in this unit 6 times and plan on our 7th in summer 2013! We highly recommend this lovely unit!

Our recent stay at the this Condo was perfect. We found that it worked well for our family of 5, everything needed is at your fingertips. This condo is clean and well taken care of. There are plenty of games and DVD's for those afternoons and evenings you don't feel like going out. We also appreciated the helpful hints left by the owners for internet and TV connection. Overall we could not of found a better location or property to stay at. If your planning on coming to Bethany Beach and need a place that feels like a home away from home this should be your pick. We plan on coming back and know exactly where we will be staying!

We’ve been coming to SC in Bethany for the last 10 years and have stayed in different condos. This condo is well furnished (one of the nicer ones we’ve stayed at) and quite comfortable for a few people at a time (probably no more than 3, beyond which it becomes crowded). Positives: The main bed is quite comfortable, as is the furniture, and the kitchen is well supplied. The location to the elevator is excellent and, except for garbage trucks, the ambient noise is mostly non-existent. The owners keep the unit updated and supplied with the latest DVDs. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing. Negatives: Kitchen space is a bit tight, bedroom space is also tight due to extra chair and the views are somewhat restricted.

Recommended for: Age 55+

Owner response: We want to thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay at our one bedroom condo.We take tremendous pride in providing our guests with not only top of the line comfort,but a sparkling and clean unit.We were able,in this unit,to provide enough space for sleeping comfort-1 king bed,queen murphy bed,and queen sleep sofa,without taking away relaxation space when the two queen beds are out of the way.We have,over the years made gradual improvements,to add to not only comfort but also to the ambience.Though the kitchen is limited,as a galey kitchen it is stocked with more than you need to prepare and serve meals.Noise can be a problem in the A.M. for about 4 minutes with trash pickup.Our balcony gives you not only privacy,but a beatiful view.

Very Well Kept Unit

We have been going to Sea Colony off and on for 10+ years. This was the first time we rented this unit and I have to say, although it is an older unit, it was incredibly clean and well kept. It was fantastic to have all the linens & towels provided--and I might add the blankets & comforters for the beds were high quality--very soft and comfortable. The other major bonus was the locker downstairs, which is FULL of beach toys for the kids, as well as chairs and an umbrella. Our kids were thrilled playing with all these toys and I was happy not to have to lug sand filled toys back home. And the collection of DVDs was incredible--MANY recently released movies. There was even a brand new (still in the package) kitchen sponge & dishwashing liquid & detergent. All those little things you hate to bring or buy from home. Very nice touch. The only downside, as I see it, is that storage space is limited. It would be nice if there was a little more room in the bedroom closet and the bedroom armoire for guests to store suitcases, clothes, etc. But otherwise, one of the cleanest, nicest units we have rented. Thanks again for everything!

We rented the condo for a family vacation. Just me my wife and my two young boys. We had a awesome time. This place has anything you need, even beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even kids toys for beach. I definitely will be booking another vacation here in the near future. Our Favorite Place at the Beach

This summer was our third year in a row at this condo. We love the condo and it feels like our home at the beach. The condo is clean and well kept, and supplied with everything you might need or want. I love being able to just throw the suitcases in the car and go. It is nice to have all the amenities of Sea Colony if you want to stay on property and the Town of Bethany Beach so close if you want to walk into town. We highly recommend this condo to future renters.

Excellent Unit with lots of items included

We stayed in this unit the July 2011 and couldn't have been happier. The beds were so comfortable and unit was exactally as described on website. The unit was clean and we were happy as there were many items they provided for us which made our travels easier. We have three children and found the unit provided us with enough space for all of and it was very helpful to have the murphy bed. We had more room in the car as the owners let us use their umbrella, beach chairs and sand toys. Just a short walk to the pool and beach this is a great vacation spot! We took the owners recommendation and ate at the cottage and had a great meal well worth the 30 minute wait.

Condo was absolutely lovely! Great view and convenient location. Sea Colony has great amenities so there is always things to do. This property is fully equipped with everything you could need or want. It is extremely clean and furnished beautifully. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation away from the crowds, this is the place!

Relax by the ocean!

My husband and I were thrilled with this beautiful get-away spot! We needed a quick weekend away to rejuvenate and relax. We not only fell in love with the South Bethany area but also Sea Colony! You couldn't ask for better accomodations with everything at your fingertips! The view from this balcony at sunrise and sunset is spectacular! What a spot for that morning cup of coffee or that evening glass of wine! We travel extensively and hands down this is the most comfortable king size bed we have ever slept in! Every convenience and just minutes from the ocean and great food..... We'll be back for sure!

We had a great stay Easter week.The Condo was very clean,bed was very comfortable.We enjoyed the ocean views,great restaurants,and had a one mile walk on the beach to to Bethany Beach boardwalk and shops.We would highly recommend this Condo.

Excellent stay at 508 Annapolis!

We enjoyed an excellent week at your condo Jul 3 - 10... it truly is more beautiful than the pictures let on! Highlights are the super comfortable beds (some mornings it was hard to get up!), fantastic view and everything you could possibly need while vacationing at the beach. The condo was plenty roomy for a family of 4 and we spent a great deal of time enjoying the breeze and view from on the balcony. We even enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks from the balcony, which was an extra treat. The owners are a pleasure to work with - very responsive and helpful with questions. Our kids (7, 9) loved the Murphy bed too - such a fabulous idea. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer... but we will certainly be back to 508 Annapolis!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bethany Beach - this condo was exactly as described - clean, well-stocked and tastefully decorated. The location was great and a really nice view from the balcony. It is perfect for a couple and two kids - small children or teenagers as we had! The owner was very responsive and efficient. We would definitely recommend this rental and Bethany Beach! Oh and the DVD collection was incredible! (perfect for the one rainy day we had)

My husband and I stayed in this condo over memorial day weekend. It was perfect! VERY clean (I am a type A and I was very impressed!). We actually slept on the murphy bed (which was very comfortable!) so that we could listen to the ocean all night- the living room is has a huge view of the Ocean. This was even better than I had hoped. It was very quiet and a great way to relax when you need a break from the craziness of life. Everything was fully stocked- it even had new bars of soap and coffee filters! Only suggestion is to add a recylcing can. Sea Colony is quiet nice. Alot of kids (we have none) but still everything you could want. We will be going back again...

We stayed at this wonderful condo for 3 nights mid-September. While the weather was a little cool, it was still great. The condo has everything we could need - my 3 yr old and 1 yr old found toys to play with both inside and on the beach, the DVD collection is the best and the view is awesome! Definitely recommend getting up early to see the sunrise one morning!

Stay: 4-11 July 09. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The photos and the info prior to booking were right on. Staying were my wife and I and Daughter, son-in-law and two children 4 & 2. The condo was well equipped and tastefully decorated. My wife and daughter lover the ocean/nautical decor. The view of the beach was just great. The area has some great restaurants, Bethany Blues, Chalkboard and Frog Pond. Fenwick Island, Harpoon Hannas, the coconut muffins were teriffic. We also enjoyed Grotto (a favorite in NE Pa) and Lido Pizza. We had a great weather week and the water temp. was good. We had been skeptical about Del. early in July, as we have gone to Myrtle Beach and the water/air is always warm/humid. But the drive is so much further. Having been to Dewey Beach in past years, we decided to try a closer beach and are very glad we chose Bethany and this property. We would definitely stay again...Rich & Ann Marie

We had a fabulous time at this condo in June. The Eastwoods had thoughtfully anticipated our every need. It was a comfy and convenient home away from home for 2 weeks. We had a wonderful stay at Bethany in May 2009. The condo was just like home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with more than you could dream of and made for easy cooking for the family instead of going out every meal. Toiletries were provided as well. The bed and linens were SO comfortable. The movie collection was awesome with plenty of choices for all ages. Thanks for sharing your home with us! We definitely recommend and look forward to visiting this condo again!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Bethany Beach in this Sea Colony condo in May 2009. All the ammenities of home plus games, movies, beach chairs, etc. Sea Colony has great biking paths and it's also just a quick bike ride to town. With a 3 year old, it was great to have the kitchen, washer/dryer, and great selection of movies. Thank you to the Eastwood family for sharing your home with others!

We were so pleased with everything about your condo. The view was beautiful and the sunrises will be unforgettable. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in away from home. It was so nice not have to pack all the extra towels, sheets and kitchen supplies. Everything was there just as you said, including the beach chairs. You can tell how much you enjoyed decorating your place. This was the first time we were at the beach during the off season. We have been coming to Sea Colony for over 16 years and have stayed at many different units. I will have to say this is one of the nicest we have stayed in. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 29th anniversay and I would recommend your condo to everyone.

A great condo in a great location. Nice view and the beachis only steps away. The beach chairs, umbrella and toys that are provided are a greta plus-it's nice not to have to pack any of that stuff. The condo is well stocked with movies, games, books, pots & pans, dishes, spices, etc. Bring your own beach towels. There is a good restaurant--Mickey's Family Crab House--just a block away. We would definitely stay here next time we come to Bethany.

A great condo in a great location. Nice view and the beach is only steps away. The beach chairs, umbrella and toys that are provided are a great plus—it’s nice not to have to pack any of that stuff. I can not say enough good things about this condo. The only thing you need to bring is your beach towels! The beds were so comfortable and the view was fantastic! My husband and I would have coffee every morning on the balcony and watch tons of dolphins heading south for the winter. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including every spice for cooking. We took our 13 month son and the condos location was great for taking him to and from the beach and pool for a nap. The owners are so helpful and friendly! We will definitely be coming back next year!

We stayed from 8/2/2008 to 8/8/2008. What a terrific place for a family vacation! The condo was chock full of "things to do" should the weather had been poor, but luckliy we had great days. Thanks for the homey feel...it felt like it was ours all along. The cleanliness of the unit, the comfortable furniture and beds, the linens that felt like you were in a luxury hotel.....and more.....it was great. It couldn't have been better.

This condo is fabulous! My family and I just returned from a very relaxing week at Bethany Beach. The owners of this condo provide you with everything you could possibly need for a week at the beach. The games, movies, and beach toys were a big hit with the kids. My 3 year old loves the Cootie game. It entertained her for hours! The beds are very comfortable. The unit is homey, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The view of the ocean is spectacular!!! I miss it already. I would highly recommend this condo. We had a great time! The owners have put a lot of time and effort into making this a "home away from home". You will not want to leave!

We had a blast during ouyr stay at the condo. The owner really has thought of everything. Everything was clean and well maintained. Perfect for our family of 4. This is a great condo. It has everything the owner says it does and more. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in with high quality linens. The condo is extremely clean and well cared for. This is the first vacation rental we have stayed in where the linens, towels, paper products, beach chairs and so much more were provided. It was so nice to not have to pack and transport all those items. The view is wonderful and of all the Sea Colony buildings on the oceanfront, I think the Annapolis is the nicest to stay in. It is an end building making it the closest walk to the boardwalk of any of the buildings. It also seemed like the beach in front of the Annapolis was the least crowded. Sea Colony is a great place to stay. We had visited it before but this was our first time staying for the week. Our children love going to the pool and I didn't mind going to the pool at Sea Colony because the pools are so close to the beach that you feel like you are still at the beach when you are at the pool. They also liked that you could walk a short distance down the walkway and be at another pool. After several days of being on the beach all day they wanted to do something different so we did a tour of the pools. They thought it was great to go from pool to pool. They also enjoyed riding the tram just for fun around the tram route. This is a great place for families as well as couples. I would highly recommend this condo.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! This well decorated/ homey condo had everything you could possibly need. The bed linens were exceptional, there were games & movies galore, & everything our family needed for the beach (chairs, boogie board, buckets, etc.) was available in the shed. There were also bike racks in the parking garage if you chose to bring your own (although there are at least 2 bike rental shops within walking distance). Also, the photos on VRBO of the beach view (in my opinion) did not do it justice. We allowed our children to have the bedroom & we slept in the Murphy bed so we could have access to the kitchen & porch in the early morning, but I had no idea that we would have the luxury of waking up to the ocean view every morning (we just slept with our pillows at the opposite end of the bed)... this was a treat! Being able to also see the ocean while working in the kitchen made cooking much less of a chore! The bonus for us was that we rented the week of July 4th & this unit has the perfect view to watch the fireworks from the balcony (better yet, it stormed immediately following the fireworks & although everyone else had to scurry off the beach, we simply went inside, relaxed, and watch the thunderstorm from behind closed doors!). I also want to mention how attentive the owners of this condo have been. I had a few questions prior to and during the rental time and they were ALWAYS available to answer my questions. We also enjoyed Sea Colony Resort and would definitely stay there again. We are more "beach" people so we only used the indoor pool once (check the pool hours, I did feel they ended a little early in most areas), but the facility was very clean, well supervised, & the activities available for the children made their vacation special. Across the street were various shops to offer most of what you could need. We ate at the Chalkboard restaurant (in the marketplace?)... the food was cooked to perfection & the staff was fun and attentive. Ocean City is only a short drive up the road which offers all the activities the kids wanted to do that we did not see in Bethany (mini golf being a biggie for us) and we didn't have to deal with staying in OC which is much more congested than Bethany. Overall, I rate this unit an A+ and would highly recommend it!

We were very impressed with the beautiful decorations, luxurious comforters, sheets & towels. The kitchen has high quality cookware, cutlery, dishes & bar glasses. The DVD collection is more like 125 (rather than 75). The ocean view is beautiful, especially while sitting in the comfortable recliner. We have been staying in Bethany/OC for many years, and this was the nicest and most comfortable place we have stayed in. We will be back!!!

We had a delightful vacation in this well prepared, attractive unit. Very clean! Detail oriented owners made for a very posiive experience. Quality linens and towels. Special touches to make you feel at home! Even clean windows to view the ocean better!

We really enjoyed our week of August 11, 2007 at this condo Annapolis 508. It was our first time in BB and hopefully not the last. Your condo is very nice, very well maintained and so comfortable, especially the beds, the Murphy bed is a great idea. The condo is fully equipped just like our house, nicely decorated. We can tell it is managed by owner versus a company. The Sea Colony site is just beautiful, the boys enjoyed the tennis court. Thank you very much, we will recommend and hope to be there again next summer. This condo was the nicest condo our family has ever stayed in. It was clean; fully stocked with; toys, books, movies (for adults and kids); and a kitchen just like home. We stayed in 508 Annapolis Building the week of July 4th. Our two little girls enjoyed the Murphy bed...what a brilliant use of space...The master bedroom bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and it was a pleasure not to have to bring kithen soaps, towels, laundry detergent, etc... It was very pleasant to sit on the patio and read. The beach toys were a welcome addition. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay.

We loved the place. It was clean, and comfortable. This was our first trip to Bethany Beach and I don't see any reason to stay anywhere else. The family atmosphere here surpasses O.C. by a long shot. The condo has everything you need to relax including the view from the balcony. We could see dolphins in the morning with binoculars. It was perfect for a small family - highly recommended.

This condo met or exceeded all our expectations. We've rented at Sea Colony before, usually through Resort Quest. This unit is either "Platinum" or very close to it... and at a significantly lower price. Other VRBO units here seem to be held by real estate brokers, but this one is privately posted, the owners are a pleasure to deal with, their willingness to rent by the day is much appreciated, and we expect to rent from them again... unless our comments prove so attractive that we get squeeeeezed out of a nice choice of dates! You'll love this unit.
