Totally renovated from top to bottom in 2001, this European second story (third story US) apartment offers two nice sized bedrooms with large beds, an American style eat-in kitchen, comfortable sitting room and beautifully modernized bath.
This privately owned and managed rental apartment is located in the chic 7th arrondissement just steps from the St Germain-des-Prés neighborhood. The apartment is across the street from the world-renowned Musée d’Orsay, a stone’s throw from the Seine River and the Tuileries Gardens now accessible by the Pont Solferino and only minutes on foot to the best designer shops in the city.
The classic early 19th century building has secured entrances and an elevator. The apartment is very light and faces an inner courtyard that makes it very quiet. Tall windows provide ample light.
The renovation included high quality new appliances including a new cook-top, oven, washer and separate dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator as well as a modern heating system and brand new bathroom.
The two bedrooms each have two single beds, which can be made up separately or together as king-size beds. In the living room there is a custom sofa daybed that converts easily to a single bed. The apartment is beautifully appointed and professionally decorated.
Within steps your front door you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay - small grocers, bakery, butcher and even Chinese take-out.
Closest Métro Stations & Bus Routes:
Metro stops, Solferino (metro line 12) and Musée d'Orsay, which is an express-service RER stop, are both only steps by foot. Very close nearby are numerous bus lines that serve the entire city. (Lines 73, 84, and 63 to name a few). Versailles is a short train ride from the nearby RER.

My husband and I lived in Paris many years ago and we always wanted to find a place so we could go back there and retire one day. Then of course we wanted to take the kids. We fell in love with an apartment with beautiful light on a quiet courtyard. We gutted it and remodeled in 2000 and have been enjoying it ever since.
Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 7
The rental was an afterthought. We bought it to spend time overseas and have ended up renting it since we can't go as often as we'd like.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
There is nothing like staying at your own place when you travel. Our place is homy but not too personal that someone cannot come in and make it their own. I love to get it ready for the next guest, making it just-so they can enjoy their own Paris vacation.
