This spacious condo is located within the beautiful Princeville resort and just 5 minutes from historic Hanalei Bay on the north shore of Kauai. The north shore is home to fabulous beaches, breathtaking mountains and lush waterfalls. The island is the perfect place for a family vacation, a romantic get away or an outdoor adventure/eco-trip.
Located in the Mauna Kai development of Princeville, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is located next to the large pool/barbeque common area and has three beautiful lanais. The floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors bring in the island beauty. This unit comfortably sleeps up to 6 persons. There are two bedroom suites each with their own full bath tub/shower. The first bedroom is furnished with a California king poster bed, and looks out on a private lanai into a lush tropical garden. The second bedroom suite has a queen bed and adjacent access to the bathroom with built in dresser. The living room’s sofa opens to a comfortable queen bed. The condo is perfect for two couples or ideal for a small family. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and amenities for serving up to eight people and will make cooking a breeze. The dining table accommodates six people with two additional seats at the travertine counter.
The home is furnished in Pacific/Asian style with original artwork of Kim McDonald. A large covered lanai with privacy fence and equipped with a table and six chairs provides opportunities for relaxing. There is a large conversation pit around the fireplace if it is a cool day.
Amenities include original artwork, as well as two flat screen cable televisions in the living room, and bedroom. There is also a stereo with IPOD hookup and a CD/DVD/VCR player. Wireless internet access is FREE. The bedrooms are furnished with new linens and towels. Beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler are all supplied. A new high efficiency washer and dryer are located on the back lanai and make laundry a snap.
Take a 10 minute walk to picturesque Anini Beach down a quaint jungle trail or cool down at the Mauna Kai pool and pavilion. Shops, restaurants, library, and a children's park are also within walking distance. World class golf, tennis, horseback riding, snorkeling, helicopter tours, sailing, kayaking, and fishing are all just minutes away by car.

Why the Owner Chose Mauna Kai
We love to run away for a month or two in the winter. Since we like nice beds and amenities, we decided to buy our place and share with people like you when we are not there. Ann and I personally remodeled the unit. It was fun. We spent 2 months living in it with no windows.
We love walking down to Anini beach and really enjoy the fine dining offered at the nearby restaurants. Our favorite things to do are to jog at Hanalei Bay and hike the beautiful trails of the nearby mountains.
We are usually there on Valentine's Day and are sure to watch the sunset while dining from a picnic on Ke'e Beach.

We love the tropical outdoors and relaxing atmosphere of Kauai. We always return home rested and rejuvinated.

We are Jim and Ann. We love work, people, play and fun. We have owned several businesses but the most fun was a flyfishing lodge in the Rocky Mountains. We have a large family but they are out now on their own. That gives us time to enjoy grandkids, travel, and study. We love Hawaii and especially Kauai. The beautiful green mountains against the white sand beaches are unsurpassed.
