Our family lives in Hong Kong and my daughter and I (with a short visit from my husband) escaped to this condo from mid April until early September this year while we were learning to fly at the nearby local airport. It's hard to top the comments from previous occupants, we fell in love with the superb, unspoiled, nature-lovers location of the condo at Crystal River and stayed so long we felt like homesteaders rather than renters. It was wonderful to experience the old Florida, a magical breath of fresh air compared with the more commercial south. We travel a lot and have spent vacations in most corners of the world and I cannot recommend the property and its delightful owners more highly. We will return.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Sawgrass Landings was the perfect choice location for a nature lover like myself who also wanted a quiet retreat and a pool, yet not be more than minutes from shopping/groceries. The condo is nicely decorated and well stocked with creature comforts and amenities. I stayed for a month and felt as if I were home--except the amazing view from the windows of the boat channel and the marsh beyond reminded me that this was Florida! Every day I particularly loved watching when the tide went out in the marsh below the deck, and seeing all the fiddler crabs appear and begin waving their huge claws in the air. In the condo complex, which is not large, owners and renters alike are friendly and respectful of others, and the owners and the onsite property manager couldn't be more accommodating. Both were easily reachable for questions and soooo pleasant. The pool was always clean and so refreshing at any time of day. Fishing, boating, and boat tours are available at the marina nearby, and the only beach in Crystal river is just 3 minutes west of the Landings. In and around Crystal River, perusing antique stores, thrift stores, and flea markets is another activity that can keep collectors busy for hours. And you're close enough to make day trips to Tampa and even Orlando. Sawgrass Landings is K-1 is an absolutely delightful, beautiful, comfortable, peaceful place that i will definitely stay in again

We enjoyed our March 2011 stay. The accomodations were both quiet and comfortable.The furnishing were more than adequate.The people were friendly, and both the owner and on-site manager were very accomodating.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Florida during my Christmas Break. We stayed at the complex from December 19, 2010 to December 31, 2010 in property #116943. Prior to our stay we received information necessary by email. The owners were extremely accomodating by allowing us to stay for 2 weeks. In general they book the unit on a monthly basis. The unit is small but comfortable for 2 people and was equipped with everything to make the stay enjoyable. The location is ideal for day trips to explore Florida's Nature Coast. We both enjoyed the scenic setting, it was quiet and peaceful. Upon our arrival we found a basket of fresh picked oranges in the kitchen and I was all smiles as the oranges was one of the reason we visited the area. We will recommend the complex to friends and hope to be back one day.
