Looking for Beautiful Place to vacation? Right on the Ski Hill? ... and you want a very clean, well appointed, non-smoking, fully furnished townhome with big views and lots of space - then this is it. Nearly 2,000 square feet of luxury! The new Kimberley Conference & Athlete Training Centre, Kimberley Alpine Resort, and Trickle Creek Golf Course are just a 3 minute drive back down the hill.

Privately owned 3 bedroom Sullivan Stone Lodge townhome is located on the ski run "Main" at the Kimberley Alpine Resort, so you will be just a few steps to skiing and adjacent to the Nordic Center for cross country skiing, or, Summer-time hiking and mountain biking trails.

SSL unit #16 is the upper end unit at the end of the lane at Sullivan Stone Lodge - right next to the skiers bridge. You'll enjoy the ultimate spot for ski-in and ski-out plus the great views! Commanding Mountain and Valley views from the kitchen, dining, living room and master suite are beautiful.

This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath (1,960 sq.ft. : 182 sq.m.) townhome was completed in December 2006 and is in the prime ski hill location.

A great family spot in the winter, spring, summer or fall. Sullivan Stone Lodge is an upscale complex catering to families and mature adults creating a relaxing retreat all year long. From May-October you will have access to several golf courses within a 20 minute drive and our home has central air conditioning if the higher elevation mountain breezes don't cool you down enough in the evening.

Sullivan Stone Lodge Unit #16 includes hardwood and tile flooring throughout. Upgrades to: Furniture, Flooring, Beds, Towels, Cotton Sheets, Appliances and TV's plus extra side windows make this a unique Sullivan Stone Lodge property. Open floor plan provides superior views to the mountains, valley, ski hill, and the quad chair lift - enjoy watching the skiers in the winter and the deer in the summer.

MAIN level features a wide open great room (kitchen, dining & living rooms), covered balcony, kid's bedroom and half-bathroom. It is very spacious with high ceilings, lots of windows, two leather sofas and two leather chairs plus a games table. There's a gas fireplace, 42" plasma HDTV+DVD/CD surround sound system. Dining table seats eight comfortably and the kitchen bar, or games table, can seat four more. The kids' bedroom has a bunk bed with full size lower, twin upper and twin trundle (roll-out), a 20" flat screen TV/DVD, full closet and storage chest. Outdoor balcony is covered with gas grill and outdoor dining for 4.

The back door off the main level provides direct ski access with many hooks and a boot dryer plus outdoor ski locker and bench.

The UPPER level has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with the private hot tub on the back deck. Master suite is very generous in size and amenities... full bath, awesome view of the Rockies, king-size bed, sofa (with queen sleeper), 42" plasma TV, full size closet, desk and chair plus full dresser. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, 20" flat screen TV/DVD, full closet and storage chest plus full bath off the hallway. Washer and dryer are also on the upper level.

LOWER level provides street & garage access plus extra hooks for jackets.

Our unit is perfect for 4 adults plus 4 kids for the best privacy and can sleep up to 8 in beds and up to 12 including sofa beds. This is a non-smoking and no-pets home. Furniture was custom designed and produced locally with the wood pieces from Tree Fever in downtown Kimberley - check out their art gallery near the Platzl.

BED SUMMARY : 1 King in Master (2 people), 1 Queen in Guest (2 people), 1 Full + 2 Twins in Kids room (4 people), plus sofa sleeper in Master (2 people) and sofa sleeper in Living Room (2 people) for a TOTAL of 8 people in five beds, or, 12 total including the two sofa sleepers.

Enjoy the downtown Platzl, providing a walking area that is the heart of the town and a center for live music, shopping and dining. Lots of great fishing, hiking, cycling and exploring and the Sullivan Mine tour during the summer months.

G O L F : Sullivan Stone Lodge is within minutes of several great golf courses, offering a broad range of difficulty. In order of distance: Trickle Creek, Kimberley Golf Club, Bootleg Gap, St. Eugene Mission, Fairmont Riverside and Mountainside, Copper Point, Eagle Ranch, Greywolf and Radium Resort.

S K I : Kimberley Alpine Resort is perfect for families, with 70+ runs from beginner to expert. Majority of runs are Blues and Greens, but Single and Double Black Diamond runs are there for you brave ones. Night skiing on scheduled nights. If you have been on the ski hill, this is the end unit on skiers right just before you cross the skibridge. IT DOES NOT GET ANY EASIER than this to get on or off the hill. Want to stop in for lunch or a quick warm-up? No problem. Beware, you will feel spoiled.

SULLIVAN STONE LODGE LOCATION = four to five-hour drive from Calgary, AB & Spokane, WA. About an eight-hour drive from Edmonton, AB & Seattle, WA. Airline service is available into the recently modernized airport in Cranbrook, BC (YXC) thru Calgary and Vancouver.

Wow, luxury items at a non luxury price! This place was exactly what we needed (2 families: 4 adults and 6 kids). It was more than roomy enough for all of us and the layout of the condo was perfect. As far as the professionalism of Hugh, well this was top notch as well. The next time we are in the Kimberley area, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We think that everything was so well looked after. The hot tub was perfect, the kitchen well equipped, the condo was so very well cleaned, and the location is probably the best on the Kimberly Hill. Again, We would like to thank you for the opportunity to stay at Sullivan Stone lodge.

My wife and I with our kids stayed in your condo about two years ago. We loved your condo and we are here again to visit family. We are in need of a nice place and remembered yours. We are considering staying on the lake in a B&B but we'd prefer your place. Thanks.

We had a fantastic time in Kimberley and Cranbrook. Your amazingly beautiful condo was the icing on the cake! Everything was perfect…we wouldn’t change a thing! The décor was beautiful and the views…stunning and breath taking! We found the beds very comfortable and the hot tub relaxing. We had a fabulous time at your place and the whole experience was very very positive. The only, and it was very minor issue, we had was with the hot water. I went and checked the hot water heater and noticed it was set to ‘Vacation’. I simply set it to on and everything was fine. I set it back to ‘Vacation’ before we left. Otherwise, the place was very clean, modern, and well laid out. We had a wonderful Christmas and will look to book with you again.

We had another fantastic stay, a bit cold….but not too bad (-15C to -20 but a bit of sun) but hill well groomed and okay for not having much snow. Back side was the best snow and a bit warmer than front side. It was nice having a well appointed kitchen. Thanks again very much.

Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful weekend at your beautiful condo. It was very clean when we arrived on Wed night and well stocked for all our needs. Sullivan Stone really is by far the nicest place on the mountain. We loved gliding right into the unit after a good day of skiing! The conditions were much better than we anticipated since they haven't had a lot of snow in the past few weeks and we had lots of fun with our friends too. I guess the only suggestion we might have would be that we found it useful in the last unit we rented to have a bench outside the door to put on and take off ski boots. That would keep some congestion out of the hall too. Anyway that was a minor problem! {bench added 2010} Thanks again and we will be sure to be in touch next time we are heading to Kimberly.
