Here is the ideal getaway for rest and relaxation with something for everyone. This 2900 square foot, two-story house has four bedrooms, an indoor spa tub (hot or cold), a large well-equipped kitchen, and second-story decks on all sides. Located on a small cove a short distance from open water, you can enjoy views of the lake from the large second-floor dining area, the balcony, or from the deck over the boat slip, which shades your boat and is but a few steps from the house. There are numerous public boat ramps and quiet parks just around the corner.

You can enjoy a game of foosball downstairs on the Shelti Pro III or win at poker on the game table also downstairs with super comfy chairs. There are also numerous games for both children and adults in the closet between the two upstairs BRs. With three TVs, games, and a library of both CDs and DVDs, there is something for everyone.

From the lake house, you can boat east to the Wirtz Dam, south to Horseshoe Bay, or north to Kingsland then go west and explore the Llano River. Lake LBJ has numerous coves to explore. If you do not have a boat or personal watercraft, you can rent one locally.

The quaint town of Marble Falls is ten minutes away, with shopping, movies, restaurants, HEB (grocery), and Wal-Mart. We also offer a FREE shopping service so you're sure to have all you need for a breakfast banquet on your first morning as our guests.

  • We spent 4th of July at the Peacock House with our children and grandchildren. The owners thought of everything. There were plenty of games, movies, etc. for the kids during evening hours when they can't be in the water. We had 6 adults and 4 kids and the Peacock House well accomodated our crowd. Very open and spacious. Two huge decks with lawnchairs, tables with umbrellas, even a lawncouch. At night we sat out under the stars on the deck over the boathouse. On our first night there before the kids and grandkids got there, me and my husband had the whole house to ourselves and when we drove up in the driveway there were deer and peacocks standing in the yard and driveway. We loved the Peacock House and recommend it to anyone who has a place you want to go and build some family memories. You will love the Peacock House. We did.

  • We spent our Thanksgiving holiday at the Peacock House and had a wonderful time! With 4 bedrooms and two living areas, the house is very spacious and comfortable. The wall of windows in the upstairs gives a great view and there are two dining tables that easily seat 14. Very comfortable beds, quality linens and towels. The home is very well stocked. You will find everything from china dishes to games and movies. Outside, the decks are large and have plenty of seating. We all enjoyed the two peacocks that roam around the yard! Besides a being a great house, the owners are very friendly and helpful. If looking for a lake house, I would strongly recommend you consider this one.

  • We just spent Labor Day weekend at the Peacock House with a party of 10 adults and had a fabulous time. The house is beautifully appointed with upscale furniture and fully stocked with everything from pots & pans to bar glasses. No detail was overlooked! We loved the decks and found that there was always enough comfortable outdoor seating even for a big group like ours. We also enjoyed watching the peacocks every morning. We couldn't have wished for a better lake house to spend our holiday. The owners were always readily available and always more than happy to answer our questions and offer help. We will definately recommend the Peacock House to all of our friends and family!

  • This was our 3rd summer to go to LBJ. This was the best trip yet. We loved the ability to play both inside and out. The decks provided great outdoor room for activities and the two floors provided privacy when needed. Furnishings were very comfortable and there was never a fight over a bed...there were plenty! The kitchen lay out helped when there were multiple "chefs." We cooked the largest portion of our meals out on the grill and it was GREAT!!

  • This was one of the best rentals that I have ever had. The house was great. Everything was very clean and very well thought out. All you have to bring is Food, Clothing and Toys. I will definitly stay here again. I have already told my Brother and my Sister-in-law and they are going to book a trip.
