Awesome condo, quiet, relaxing, bird-turtle protected barrier between ocean and condo. Loved the spacious rooms. Very close to Lover's Key state park where we spent most of our days. Can't beat the price versus a one room hotel. Permanent residents were very friendly and helpful. Loved the locked doors, beach gates, and pool gates. If we didn't want to drive and pay to park we could just hop on the trolley that stopped just across the street from Condo.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We went down to Ft. Myers from Cincinnati, Ohio the first week in July. It was me, my husband and 4 kids. The place was nice and clean. We really enjoyed all the different birds around. The beach was not far to walk to either, but we enjoyed going around the water to the actual beach cause of the wild life. We are use to staying closer to the pier which is much active, the condo is down where it is quite and not busy which is very nice.. *** I would rent this condo again****

Stayed in late April for 1 week ,, the unit furniture & contents was very dated,, not clean ,,sheets,towels,old,, the outside grill was broken,, Maintenance man would not fix it,, brother in law almost burnt himself opening the grill,the beach has a lagoon in front so if you want to go into the gulf water you have to walk far & thru muddy sludge,, We chose this place for the small condo units,, it was quiet, but if you have children & want to go to the waters, beware,, not as described,, I would not recommend this unit to anyone,, I have used VRBO before & decided if there arent reviews there must be a reason,,did go to some good restaurants, Nellies, & some other ones in times square..

Owner response:I am disappointed in this, the first of negative reviews. We take great pride in our rentals and strive to make this your home away from home. The condo has brand new carpet throughout. The furniture is beautiful and came from a high end furniture store. As we've owned this condo less than 7 years, nothing is outdated at all, as we have replaced and exchanged things throughout our ownership. Most recently we installed crown molding and six panel doors throughout the unit. As far as the grill, that is something maintained by the complex and we do have an onsite maintenance man who will fix things. Not once during their stay did this party contact us with any concerns, issues, or complaints. Had they done so, rest assured we would have taken immediate action to rectify it. As far as reviews, the majority of our renters send us personal thank you notes vs replying onsite. Therefore, we have now added all of their lovely letters to our review section. The unit is EXACTLY as it appears in our photos, and more are available upon request.

Thank you so much for the use of your lovely condo. We truly enjoyed the sound of the ocean, the gorgeous birds and the serenity. We had lots of fun touring the area, eating at neat restaurants and shopping on rainy days. We also loved "South Beach" Grill and Enzo's, a great Italian place on Bonita Beach Rd. We had a great time in Ft. Myers Beach. Your condo is very nice and worked perfect for 2 couples. For the most part we had great weather (rain 1 day) a little cool a couple days but way better than Minnesota weather. Hopefully we can vacation here again. We know where a nice place to rent is now.
