Exemplary rental house, understated on the outside but well designed, practical, cozy, with great natural light, 180 degree views, compact modern kitchen, good Internet and Vonage type phones, multilevel for privacy, very close to excellent wineries and gourmet restaurants, and 10 min drive to center of kelowna across the bridge. Overall had a wonderful trouble free one month stay in the autumn, with sunny skies and crisp weather. Highly recommended.

This open plan home provided a great base for touring wineries in the Okanogan. The balconies provide an incredible view of Kelowna and the lake. The lazy boy recliners on the deck are great to kick back in and enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The house overlooks several wineries, notably Quail's Gate and Volcanic Hills, and is a short drive to a provincial park with beach access and hiking trails.

We stayed in this home for the month of December, and had an absolutely delightful experience. Most of our time was spent watching the lake and cloud formations from the excellent vantage point in the living room - we never tired of the views. The evening views with no streetlights made it spectacular. The house is exceptionally well equipped, very clean and beautifully furnished. Kelowna city center is a short drive away, and the Quail's gate Winery is far too close! There is lots of room in the place, we had two couples over for a New Year's get together and stay over, and we never felt crowded. Shirley, the owner, was very accommodating and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this home to others.

We stayed in this lovely home for a week with 2 other couples. It was very comfortable and had so many amenities and such wonderful views, we found ourselves cooking at home and sitting on the deck rather than going out. There was enough different spaces that we had the room we needed to be comfortable and never felt constrained. The location is close to many wineries and a short drive to downtown Kelowna We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

WE found this vacation home to be very comfortable for our family of 5. Plenty of room in both sleeping accommodation and sitting rooms. We were also impressed with the spotlessly clean condition of the home. The kitchen had every ammenity imaginable and was easy to cook in. It was a treat to stay here. Both sunrise and sunset can be viewed from the spectacular balconies and also from indoors. We enjoyed seeing the moon shining on the surface of Lake Okanagan from our bedroom windows. There is also a lovely walk up to the top of Mt Boucherie accessible right nearby from the end of McCallum Rd. Thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous vacation home!

My wife and I stayed here in late 2009 and we liked it so much we returned again in early 2010. Having rejected many other vacation properties in the area we were won over by the excellent description on the website. We wanted an exceptional property and were so pleased to walk through the front door and have our expectations exceeded from the first minute. The house was wonderful and the quiet, convenient location, was an added bonus. The property is clean, well designed and extremely comfortable. The owners are very anxious to make it a home from home experience and absolutely everything has been thought of to make guests feel extremely welcome. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge has comfortable leather recliner arm-chairs. The bedrooms have hotel quality beds but we couldn't believe that anyone would want to stay in a downtown hotel when this property was available. We spent many evenings in the comfortable sun room overlooking the lake and lights of the city. As the road outside hasn't got bright street lighting the views any time of the day or night were unbelievable. Talking about location, what a convenient place this is. It is within a very easy drive to major supermarkets, downtown numerous theatres and dozens of wineries. This house is ideally situated for all that the Okanagan has to offer and it really has got a million dollar view. This visit was one of the most memorable and restful experiences we have had. After our stay we came home to a very rainy United Kingdom and given the opportunity we would be back in a flash. We have stayed in several rental vacation properties in Canada over the years but this one was simply the best yet. Well done to the owners for making this such a positive experience, thanks for being available at the end of the phone for tips and holiday advice and best wishes for the future.

We spent an incredible week in your home enjoying the amazing view of the lake, visiting the local wineries(Little Straw being our favorite) and cooking delicious meals in your well equipped kitchen, to name a few things. The upscale, no through road neighbourhood that your house is located in, allowed us to have the peace and quiet we so crave. Also, having a local grocery store meant we never had to fight traffic. With everything so close at hand we were really able to unwind here. For our family of four and another couple, this was an ideal vacation home.

We stayed at this house for 10 days in July and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view of the lake is spectacular from every room. Lots of stairs which we didn't mind because that's how they get the great view, but might not be for elderly people. Close to all amenities, Kelowna, wineries, golf. We would definately go back.

We enjoyed a delightful stay at this beautiful house in Kelowna. The house surpassed our expectations on all accounts. One of our great delights were the decks surrounding the house. We moved with the sun...coffee on one deck...cocktails on another and watching the sunset on an another. The view from each was spectacular and we didn't want to leave. The house is located in a beautiful community and was a short distance to the lake, where we enjoyed a lot of swimming. We are looking forward to another week here in the summer. It has all the conveniences of our home and we hope this will be annual trip for us!

We spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful property and no one wanted to go home at the end of our holiday. The house is beautiful, and the view is spectacular. There is lots to do in the area, something for everyone. We watched some spectacular storms move across the lake, and our young grandchildren were enthralled by the lightning and rain as it moved down the lake. Wonderful memories for all of us, and the young ones still talk about the Kelowna vacation. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We do plan to be back in 2009.

THe house was lovely and the location EXCELLENT! There was so much to do in the area, we kept very busy and sure to return again. The house is immaculate and very well thought out. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and the decks were wonderful for watching the sunset over a nice bottle of local wine. I would recommend this place highly and the entire Kelowna area for a romantic or family holiday.

Our family loved staying in this beautiful house. In our opinion, the pictures don't do it justice. The beds were very comfortable, the heated tile was wonderful in the large ensuite bathroom, and the view was spectacular! We also really enjoyed the 4 Lazy-Boy chairs. We hope to be back.

This is what the current guest emailed to me after they settled into the vacation property... "We love it here. We're not leaving. You'll have to have the police remove us to get us to leave........... just kidding. We really do like it though."
