What a unique property! Don't pass up this oppportunity. The loft is everything it appears to be in the pictures. In addition the community of Lansing is a slice of Americana. We had a group of guys stay a couple nights. The loft provided exactly what we needed. It should be noted this is one large room. It does not provide seperate sleeping quarters. The beds set up all around the area that surronds the pool table. May be awkward if your in mixed company. We took full advantage of the kitchen and deck. Also spent time at several of the bars and taverns. All are with-in easy walking distance. We found all the people in Lansing to be very friendly and eager to visit. Even if your not a Packer fan. Thanks Sharon, We plan to return next year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Sharon, we had a wonderful time. Thanks so much! It was a beautiful place - much laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories. Busy tubing, fishing, swimming, and just relaxing weekend! I have a feeling we would like to make this an annual trip. I've also told many people who are asking questions about it. So you may get others calling to visit your lovely home-away-from-home. Thanks again for everything. HollyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

7 of us mostly over 50 years of age male motorcycle enthusiast stayed at the loft for a weekend. The loft had everything we needed to make the trip enjoyable, modern kitchen, comfortable beds, etc.. We also enjoyed the view of the town and river from the kitchen and deck. The area is beautiful.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

“WOW! What a gem of a find in the quaint town of Lansing, Iowa! The Lansing Loft was such a pleasant surprise to find! The pictures on the website showed a stylish, lofty space, but in person it was so much more! There was tons of space and we loved the separate “Bar” area and living quarters and personal touches of the owners. The boys LOVED the pool table and video games that were there! We took special notice of the cutesy games and conversation pieces that were scattered throughout the Loft! If we would have been there longer we definitely would have had a Ping Pong tournament. So much space, comfy beds, very clean, unique, right in the heart of downtown Lansing and a view of the river – what more could you ask for? We had the best time! Can’t wait to go back!” -- Betsy SteeleRecommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had 7 guys staying in the loft and had a great weekend. The setup was great for our group. The beds were comfortable. We grilled out and played a lot of cards, pool, and ping pong. The town was very nice too and the loft is very close to resturants and shops. We had several good meals. We would definitely go back again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had 9 guys staying at your loft for a weekend and we found this to be a perfect spot for our getaway. We grilled, cooked, and enjoyed the surrounding area. The kitchen was great, the beds comfortable, and the general atmosphere of the loft was great. The ping pong and pool tables got at least 10 hrs of use! We had a ton of fun. Thanks!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

"I've stayed at the Loft by myself, with my family and with a group of friends. It has met all of these needs beautifully. The space is ideal for relaxation and socialization. Perfectly located in beautiful Lansing, Iowa, you could stay for the weekend or the week. The setting is luxurious enough to feel you are someplace special, but also manages to make you feel right at home. I've already booked my next visit!"Did you find this review helpful?
