Friends and I decided to make last minute trip to wineries and one of our favorite watering holes (Maloney's) to catch the always entertaining band Misfit Karma. House was very clean and very well maintained and the owner Delia seemed like a sweet, genuine person. Would loved to enjoy sitting on the waters edge had it stopped raining for more than 30 consecutive minutes. Can't control the weather though and still managed to have fun without the sun.

Great location on the south end of Lake Keuka. Well maintained very clean two level three bedroom home with nice waterfront setupbif you have a powerboat or do not. StIrs are steep but only about 30 of them . Nice electric trolley to get your gear up and down so steps are not a big deal . Nice thing is The owners are right next door but we never needed them for anything for our 6 days there. For sure a great value. We had 5 adults and a 2 year old.

Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great TIme and Place

We recently stayed at Fun in the Sun and had a wonderful stay. Two families, four kids and dogs everyone had a great time. Everything was as advertised. The house was clean, roomy and comfortable. Everyone had a blast fishing and swimming from the docks as well as going out on the kayaks. It was enjoyable to sit out by the water with a cup of coffee to start and end the day. We were able to bring our boat and utilize the boat whips but the best thing about the boat was the convenience of launching from the town launch and storing the trailer off site just down the road. No worries about where will we park the trailer. We had a great time at a great property and plan on coming back again. Delia and Ed were great hosts for the week. See you next year.

Just two days removed from our week long stay at the lake house and my family and I (and dogs) are already looking forward to next year. This place really fits our family of 8 and two dogs needs perfectly. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out as much as needed so we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The owner's of this place are extremely close by (as in right next door), and I have to say, I was unsure of how this would work out privacy wise during our stay. Well, after spending a week there it was perfect.....it was as if we were the only ones at the lakefront, but if we ever needed anything they were right there to assist us with what was needed. We have stayed at a property prior to this without an elevator, and I think it is safe to say we never will again. It made unpacking and getting things down to the house extremely easy. The house is very tastefully decorated and EXTREMELY CLEAN for you neat freaks out there. We had a boat and a jet ski and the docks fit both of them perfectly. Plenty of "green space" available for a yard game or sunbathing in lounge chairs. I could go on and on, but bottom line....if you and your family are in the market for a Keuka Lake cottage to enjoy the beauty of the finger lakes, then this property will not disappoint. (Just don't think about taking our week!) :) - The Ferretti's

We found Ed & Delia's place at the last minute and it was wonderful! Plenty of room to spread out with all 8 of us, 5 teenagers! The two floors were perfect for coming in from the water, or wanting peace and quiet. Their hospitality was terrific..even included a delicious pot of beans and a pork roast dinner! Any questions or concerns we had were always congenially answered and having them next door made it easy if we weren't sure about amenities nearby. Love the location..so close to Hammondsport for tennis, ice cream or laundry mat. And the house was very tastefully furnished with excellent bedding, comfortable mattresses and first class furnishings. And it was only 5 steps from the cottage to the water! A huge swimming raft made it a blast for the kids. Thanks so much for an excellent vacation!

Wonderful Memorial Day Weekend at Fun in the Sun

Our family came together for a reunion over this past Memorial Day Weekend. We were a large group and this wonderful setting was an ideal place to gather. The house is very comfortable, the views are incredibly beautiful and Ed and Delia are such welcoming hosts. There were boats we could use, all the cooking utensils you can think of, and a lovely deck with tables and chairs where we would often eat and talk together well into the evening. It had been a long time since we were all able to come together under one roof, and this was the perfect place to do so.

Perfect fall weekend

4 couples spent the weekend boating and touring the wineries. House was spotless clean,tastefully decorated,and had a beautiful view. Home now has a bedroom downstairs with 2 single beds instead of a double as advertised. There is a futon downstairs. Owners live next door and were very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed the deck area and use of kayak. Town of Hammondsport was very close and convenient for shopping and dining. The boat launch is very close also. We would return again!

Owner response:Yes, in addition to our two double beds in private rooms we now have two twin beds in place of one double bed this will accomendate both couples or single guest ( in thier own private rm.) Additional sleeping are one Fulton and one sleeper both queen. In addition to the peak weekly sessions this is a great spot for fall weekend.

Great Place, Great location, Great owners, Great view, what more can we say. This will be our 2nd year returning as 3 couples for a weekend of wine tours, and good fresh air. October is a great time for Keuka lake and wine country. The accommodations are very clean, bright, and has all the amenities needed for a great stay. Even a cork screw.. Delia and Ed make for great owners, their there if you need them and out of sight if you don't. A class act for a rental property, better service than we would get at any hotel, thats for sure. They make it easy to rent, stay, and play. Would highly recommend to anyone. Enjoy!!

We have spent a week for several years at Ed and Delia's home on the lake. They are VERY ATTENTIVE to your needs and making your stay exceptionally enjoyable. The location provides exceptional views from the house as well as the deck. Most impressive is the cleanliness of their property both inside and out. This is the perfect Keuka get-away!

My family and I including our 2 dogs stayed at the cottage last June. It was our first time renting a cottage on the lake and we couldn't have had a better time! The location is perfect, the house is cute, clean, and comfty, and the owners are great. Not only did we get even more than we expected but we made friends with 2 great people! We can't wait to come back this year!

The house was vey clean and well kept. The view was wonderful ans was the setting and the entire area. I brought a brand new 18.5 ft boat with me and the dock with its whips toook good care of my boat even during a storm front that moved thru. The entire property was a pleasure as were the Stull family that rented the property to us. Theyt were very accomadating and friendly and you feeel like family. We will definately be renting this propoerty from them for years to come.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this lovely cottage! It was clean and beautiful with all the amenities necessary. It's also at a beautiful spot on the lake, near Hammondsport. The owners are awesome and went out of their way to make us comfortable! We really enjoyed our first visit to Keuka Lake and especially this cottage. We hope to be back next summer.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at this quaint lake home. Perfect location on Keuka – close to Hammondsport & wineries. The house is very nice – lots of light & views, bright cheery interior, lots of room & right on the water. We will definitely make this our first choice when we return to Lake Keuka!!
