"The View of Lake Chatuge & Scenic Mountains" - From the Back Deck - Hiawassee, Georgia Cabin Rental Nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, this newly constructed Lodge Style cabin (December 2006) offers breathtaking views of Lake Chatuge, the largest lake in the Georgia Mountains covering over eight miles of coastline through Georgia and North Carolina. Relax and enjoy the view from the two level, three sided deck and, witness stunning sunrises, as the sun breaks through over the Georgia Mountains and shimmers on Lake Chatuge each morning. This beautifully decorated Lodge Style Cabin has incredible views through the entire east facing wall of windows and sliding doors, allowing views form just about every room. The main level ceiling is 29 feet tall, allowing for unobstructed Lake and Mountain views from all levels, especially from the top level loft, which provides a serine getaway to read a book or watch a movie from the fully stocked Library. The great room on the main level has all of the amenities of home, with a floor to ceiling fireplace, three couches for relaxing and an audio and video entertainment center for viewing and listening. Once you are done relaxing, take advantage of the nearby water sports, hiking, dining, and shopping that the quaint towns of Hiawassee, Young Harris, and Blairsville have to offer. Home of the Georgia Mountain Fair, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and Brasstown Valley and the Ridges Golf Resorts. This enchanting Lodge Style Cabin is in the heart of a tri-state area with only 15 minutes from Helen, Georgia, 30 minutes from Franklin, North Carolina, and less than two hours from Gatlinburg, Tennessee , Maggie Valley, and Atlanta, Georgia. You can find both relaxation and outdoor activities for the entire family.
