Come spend a magical week at the beach in our professionally decorated home in a quiet marshside neighborhood. With five bedrooms and three baths, it’s perfect for two families or large family gatherings.
The third floor bedroom doubles as a playroom for kids with two double futons, foosball table, and a TV with DVD and VCR. Bring your own games or play with ours. The second-floor master suite has a king bed, private bath w/jacuzzi tub and its own screened-in porch with views of the marsh. The second floor also has one room w/queen bed and another w/two twin beds that share the hall bathroom. The first floor has one bedroom with a queen bed, private access to the balcony and shares the hall bathroom.
Enjoy cooking in our gourmet kitchen - or order out and enjoy eating on the screened porch off the dining/living area while watching a magnificent South Carolina sunset.

The beach is a four-minute walk down a quiet side street. After playing in the sand and surf, use the outside shower to freshen up. There’s enclosed storage for bikes, kayaks, or whatever outdoor sports equipment you have brought along.
Snowbirds can rent a full month during the winter season for the same price as a week during prime season. With average temperatures in the 60s, it’s still a great time to be at the beach.

My family and I stayed in this property in June 2011, and we couldn't have had a more wonderful time. The property was modern, light and airy inside with plenty of decks for everyone to enjoy morning, noon and night. There were a total of 10 of us staying at the property. The 3 teenagers loved the loft area and had the privacy they craved (and loved the wi-fi!). There was a bedroom with 2 twin beds right next to the master bedroom where our 2 younger children slept (ages 3 and 8). The master bedroom was enormous with a private deck. My aunt, late 50s, stayed in a queen bedroom on the second floor and had access to a deck from her room. The laundry was located on the second floor and was very convenient to the bedrooms. My parents, early 60s, stayed in the queen bedroom on the main floor so they didn't have to worry about stairs constantly. We enjoyed many meals on the main floor's screened deck, and in the evenings we switched to the oceanside deck after dinner to enjoy a glass of wine and feel the ocean breeze. It was a very easy, straight shot up the street to the beach access, and the kids often chose to ride their bikes. We also rented a golf cart for the week so we could take all of our chairs, coolers, towels, and beach toys up to the beach each day. My husband also used it to carry fishing gear to different spots around the island for fishing. We were also right next to the bike path that circles around the island and took advantage of a nice bike ride almost every day. This home is only a mile from Piggly Wiggly, and with all of our teenage boys I found that extremely handy! Overall, we truly enjoyed the value and location of this property. I highly recommend it!

The whole family was very impressed on the house cleanness and layout. We have 5 kids under 6 and everyone is enjoy the place and have plenty room for kids and adults. The kitchen area is open and has plenty work spaces. So it wasn't crowded for cooking and talking. The walk to the beach was short and quiet even with the young children we can relax and let them walk. One suggestion I have is the recycle bin which we didn't find one and we have a lots of bottles and cardboard boxes and really don't want to stuff in the garbage bin so we were looking for recycle station. Maybe your management office can suggest to the Edisto Island management to start the recycle collection which will consist with island policy - "Conservation". Overall, we had great time and enjoy the not so crowed beach. Also, I have recommended to my friend on your property for beach vacation. Thank you.......

Our family had a wonderful time at Edisto Beach and the house was a real dream. The grandchildren loved the playroom, the kitchen was well appointed, and the porches were a perfect place to read. The street behind the house was a great bike ride for the children, very little traffic. Overall we loved the house and really enjoyed staying there.

All of us enjoyed staying on this wonderful Island in such a wonderful house. Our kids loved to go treasure hunting, and I don"t have any idea how we will bring half of all those great shells to Germany one day... We flew our new kite, loved to play foosball too and enjoyed very much cooking and sitting together in the evening for a very long time. Although the summer holidays are still far away, we think of coming back. Thank you very much for all your help and kindness. Best wishes for you in 2010, Astrid
