Our oceanfront home, Villa Puesta del Sol, is dramatically located on a cliff above the entrance to Bahia Angelito and is within walking distance to all of Puerto Escondido's best attractions: including its beaches, boating, surfing, shopping, and restaurants. This villa ideally fits the real estate maxim: location, location, location. We are centrally located in the tranquil town of Puerto Escondido and our villa is inside a private gated neighborhood named Manzanillo Reef.
Villa Puesta del Sol possesses a stunning ocean view from La Punta (the point) to the far side of Bahia Angelito and is one of the few properties in Puerto Escondido to face west and takes advantage of the stunning sunsets. Our view is so long you can easily see the curvature of the earth. The closest beach is Playa Manzanillo, (which is also Puerto Escondido's best beach) which is a mere three minute walk from the villa and a place where you can swim, fish, snorkel, and catch a boat ride. There are very few houses in Puerto Escondido closer to a swimming beach (maybe 5 or 6, and that's splitting hairs). You can learn more by visiting us on the web ask us for our addeses. Villa Puesta del Sol is managed and owned by Alex Fink. I am a family man, entrepreneur, business owner (4 times over) and enjoy an adventuresome lifestyle.
Why the Owner Chose Puerto Escondido
As avid travelers of Mexico, our family chose Puerto Escondido for our vacation home because of its beautiful scenery, clear water, fantastic food, friendly people, rich culture, warm weather, and of course the 360 days of sunshine. It also helps that Puerto Escondido is tourist friendly, but not overrun by tourists or becoming "Americanized." No cruise ships here!
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
Almost everybody who knows Puerto Escondido says we have the very best location. We are in a private gated community, so no vehicle traffic, but we are close enough to everything to walk just about anywhere. There are no houses "on the beach" in the city of Puerto Escondido. There are only houses on the cliff above the beach, or behind hotels that are directly on the beach. In the entirety of Puerto Escondido, there might be 3 or 4 houses that are both oceanfront and closer to a swimming beach than our house. In fact, we now have a private beach below our house with a private stairway. Also, there are only a few vacation rentals that have an oceanfront sunset view. Ours is proudly one of them. The fact our villa comfortably sleeps 8 people in beds is a rarity in Puerto Escondido. Our staff has been virtually unchanged since our house was built. Same property management, same pool cleaner, same cleaning staff — because everybody does such great job. Our guests rave about them. Our goal is for you to have a wonderful, memorable and effortless holiday in PARADISE!
