  We were in Flagstaff for 5 nights for my daughter's graduation from NAU. We had grandparents, mom/dad, aunt/uncle, cousin, a couple friends, and a small dog staying at the house. The house was perfectly located to the school and close to everything in Flagstaff. The listing photos accurately reflect the home, it was clean, maintained, and located in a good neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for all our meals and there was a large table in the dining area for everybody to sit together. The living/dining/kitchen area is large and roomy giving everybody space to move around and not bump into one another. Three bathrooms allowed everybody to get ready in the morning for the graduation ceremony at 10 am. The fenced backyard was perfect for the dog. The area is fairly wooded. One night during dinner we saw a doe and fawn walking the fence line. Everybody was very comfortable for sleeping and had their own bed. The owner was very easy to work with and I would absolutely recommend this property to a friend or relative. We visited the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome and would recommend visiting all these locations as they are within short driving distance. Everybody had a great time. Wish we could have stayed longer!

  My family and I had a great time at this home between Christmas and New Years, in December 2011. This would be the first time my girlfriend's family and my own would be vacationing together, so it was important that the stay be stress-free! And it was! Although I cannot speak to the country club, I would say that any other problems previously reported about this property have been remedied. We were a group of two sets of parents, and two sets of younger couples, and one dog. One parental unit took the master bedroom with attached bath. The other parental unit took the bedroom with the futon and half-bath. One younger couple took the last bedroom with a full-bed, while the other couple shared the bunk bed room. The bunk bed room has one bunk bed, but an extra mobile mattress. We arrived to find the home quite clean. The clean-up crew forgot to check the oven and the previous-renter's dinner was still in it. Oops! The garage has some snow-toys, and the kitchen is fully stocked with common cooking utensils. The wood-burning stove is excellent. The beds are not the most comfortable, but are cozy and plenty warm in the winter. The Wi-Fi is fast and the TV hooked up to cable. I had perfect cell-reception in the home. The home is perfect for bringing a dog, as the backyard is securely fenced. The neighbors have a friendly beagle pup as well! I will not hesitate to book this property in the future if I plan on coming to Flagstaff again, and I would recommend this location for a stress-free stay.

  my family stayed here May 2009. There is a pool at the country club, but the owner of this property doesn't have a club membership. You can buy a 1 week memebrship, which the property owner told me would cost $20., in reality it cost $70. There were phones in the house but didn't work. I called the owner on Wed. to tell him, when we left on Sat. they still did not work. We had about $50. in roamimg charges since we had to use our cell to call local restaurants, etc. I sent the owner an e-mail about these things after I returned home and never got any response from him. I rented through another website that is affiliated with this site but couldn't write a review of this property on that website. In addition the property was not up to my standards for cleanliness. The dryer was full of wet towels and sheets, and the washer was full of dirty sheets. I dried and folded the dryer items. (I also told the owner of this in my post stay e-mail) We used some of those towels but they were musty. Carpets and furniture were dirty. Bed in master was comfortable. Bedroom in back of house with queen and futon had no covering on one window so it was very bright by 6 in the morning. This house has lots of room and potential - I think it's a shame the owner doesn't take better care of it.
