Cabin is located on the picturesque sandy beaches of Mutiny Bay in Freeland Washington. Only a short distance from Seattle and a mere 10 minutes from the Clinton-Mukilteo ferry. It feels like you’re a million miles away without travelling too far from home!
Opens onto sandy no bank beach waterfront with spectacular sunsets at your doorstep. Panoramic views of Puget Sound, shipping lanes and the Olympic Mountains. Large outdoor patio is perfect for BBQ's and sunset cocktail hour! Portable outdoor fire pit is available for beach fires and marshmallow roasting.
The front cabin has an open concept living area with countertop seating facing the water, wood burning fireplace, Cable TV with DVD player and plenty of seating. Cozy bedroom with queen size bed and full bath with shower. Sofa bed is available in the living room for extra guests. Front cabin newly furnished summer of 2009!
The back cabin has the second larger bedroom with double bed, half bath and large bunk area for everyone. The bunk area is equipped with a futon, sofa bed, a large sofa and a ping pong table.
Summertime brings cruise ships, berry picking, local farmers markets, art fairs, and the great outdoors! Activites include hiking, kayaking, water sports and long walks on the beach during low tides which provide great shelling for all to enjoy!
Take a day to enjoy some of Whidbey’s finest sightseeing including Fort Casey, Whidbey Island Naval Air Station and Deception Pass. Enjoy the array of assorted restaurants from fine dining at Gordon’s to home-style Mexican at El Corral.
Snuggle up in the winter in front of the fireplace. Enjoy some of Puget Sound’s one of a kind crabbing, clamming and fishing for chum salmon during season this September. CAN RENT FRONT CABIN SEPERATELY IN WINTER MONTHS ONLY (becomes 1 bedroom with pullout)

Why the Owner Chose Mutiny Bay
I spent years in this location in the 1970's with family. It is still so charming and quaint. The beach is only steps away and the house is very special. The nearby town of Langley is lovely and is very "artsy", right on the water also. GREAT shopping! I love the ferry ride and all of the activities nearby. You can rest quietly and listen to the waves and nature, or go to the bustling ferry dock that seems to duplicate the east coast, and just about anything in between. Just a short distance from Seattle to relax and feel like your thousands of miles away!
