The ultimate in cool,urban living!
This spacious fifth floor apartment has full length windows overlooking Camden Lock and the Grand Union Canal, with uninterrupted views toward Hampstead. It is one of fourteen apartments in a contemporary block and it is on the penultimate floor.
The apartment is well located for restaurants, supermarkets (Sainsbury, Morrisons) and food (Marks and Spencers) and good organic food stores. It is also close to the local cinema. It is a ten minute walk to Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, great for cafes and people watching.
It is only a short journey on the tube or bus to the theatre district and London's major museums and art galleries. Great shopping in Oxford Street, Bond Street and Mayfair are a short bus or taxi journey away.

We stayed in this great apartment with 6 people ages 18-74.The location was close to the Tube( 3 blocks) and accross the bridge from the Camden Market. We loved it's location, great people watching and would stay again we loved coming back to the apartment after a long day of sightseeing. Thanks for renting your place out, you were very easy to work with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My husband and I (50's), my mother (75) and our daughter (26) all stayed in this gorgeous unit for 5 days in September 2010. It is so central to everything and you are just surrounded in luxury. It truly is a magnificent apartment. Two bedrooms are MAster Suites with ensuites and the third bedroom has a third bathroom next to it. The stainless stell kitchen is modern and functional. After travelling it is wonderful to have a washing machine to get everything clean before embarking on futher travels. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the tube and then a 10-12 minute ride to all the tourist sites. Stay at Iceworks for a couple of days or a couple of weeks- you won't be sorry- you will love it as much as we did and we certainly will saty there next time we go to London. I had a lot of trouble finding decent accommodations in London for anything approaching a reasonable price and then I came across this wonderful flat. It is incredibly spacious and well appointed. I have only great things to say about it and if I were going back to London I would check here first! The tube station is very convenient and Camden and Primrose Hill are fun to visit (although very different). The housekeeper Diya was also very helpful and pleasant. Thank you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We stayed at the Iceworks for 10 days in April 2010, and I would highly recommend the property. The flat comfortably housed 2 parents, 2 children (6 and 9) and one grandparent, and the location was excellent--5 minutes walk to Camden Town Tube and a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants in Primrose Hill. Camden Town itself was on the crowded side with lots of counter-culture types, but everyone was friendly and we all felt safe even with the kids. The owner, Alex, and the housekeeper, Diya, were easy to deal with and informative when any questions arose. The beds in the flat were very comfortable, sheets and towels were clean and in good repair, and 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms allowed us all to spread out nicely. The kitchen was well-equipped, the furnishings well-kept, and the view from the balconies was lovely. A very nice convenience was the Mac computer with printer, which allowed us to look up directions, buy internet tickets to attractions (which in many cases allow you to skip the line), and generally keep in touch at home. In the neighborhood, we had several very nice dining experiences at the following restaurants: Market is a more upscale restaurant with British food whose owner lives in the Camden area. We ate at Gordon Ramsey's York & Albany, and found the food and service to be excellent. Lemonia in Primrose Hill had amazing wait staff and delicious Greek food in a family-friendly atmosphere. The Bull & Last (214 bus to Highgate--about a 10 minute ride) is a refined version of a British Pub with locally-sourced fare. Camden Brasserie, a few steps down from the flat, had solid bistro food and delicious fries. All of the aforementioned restaurants welcomed our children (Camden Brasserie supplied crayons and paper), though it's always best to call ahead to ensure you can find a table. To and from the airport Alex had recommended London Cars and I would second them. They arrived on time on both ends of the journey and the price did not change from what was quoted us.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

Our family of four stayed at this great flat for four nights. We have 2 teens aged 17 and 15 so they needed their own rooms. This place could not have worked out better. The rooms were large, clean, and bright with lots of windows and nice views. Two of the of the rooms had their own bathrooms. Camdentown is lively and eclectic with great shopping and restaurants and not to mention a very convenient tube stop nearby. Nice walks are at your doorstep. The landlords are very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Also we felt very safe here. PS. Washer/Dryer came in quite handy !Did you find this review helpful? Alex, Thanks for helping to make our stay in London so wonderful; We had a great time in your flat. Not only was everything as you portrayed it, but it exceeded our expectations. Whether it was the ease and flexibilty of check-in, the incredible location, the cleanlyness of the flat, or the ease in booking, we were quite happy with our experience. We would not hesitate to reccomend your flat to anyone considering booking with you. Hope you and your family have a wonderful New year. Jim LyonsDid you find this review helpful? We stayed at Iceworks from 16th to 20th August 2007 and it was really great. The apartment is FABULOUS, with a lot of space, wonderful view, super confortable beds and sofas - this is very important to whom like us walk all day long. Kitchen is very well equiped. The area is very tipical and funny and at the same time is very well situated to visit everything in London. It is just a few minutes by bus to Picadilly, Oxford, Trafagal square etc. The owner is very nice she gave us all the necessary informations how to get there and also about the area. I will recommend it to everybody going to LondonDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Our family of four stayed here in late December and early January 07. It is an absolutely wonderful apartment, beautifully appointed, spacious, really clean and in a great location - what more could you want! The owner & housekeeper were extremely helpful and caring (our daughter was ill for a couple of days). Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a quality holiday rental.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
