Delightful Craftsman Home in Tranquil Gardens in Old Pt Reyes
Why the Owner Chose Point Reyes Station
I have had a life long passion for the Point Reyes area.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I love walking into town to "talk story" with local people; eating bear claws at the Bovine Bakery; browsing in the book shop; walking by Papermill Creek; hiking the trails of Point Reyes; going to the beach at Hearts Desire.

We are a family of four who live on Maui, but have deep roots in West Marin. Creamery Cottage is our family home and we come "home" several times a year to connect with this sacred place and see old friends. We love to learn how our guests are also touched by this place.

We had a wonderful stay at your cottage. I’d have to say that it was one of our most memorable family vacations. The weather was perfect, the hikes along the coast with the wildflowers in full bloom were dream-like, and the accommodations were lovely. The downtown area was so charming -- we made several trips to the Bovine Bakery and enjoyed dinners at the Station House, Café Reyes, and The Farmhouse in Olema. Thank you for sharing your home and garden with us – we will never forget the time we spent in Point Reyes.

We spent two beautiful days at this charming cottage and wished we stayed longer! The main house had a lot of character --- very inviting and had a very relaxing atmosphere about it; lots of great decor, books and interesting art work. The location was perfect for us -- just a few blocks away from the all the shops and resturant - i.e. Bovine bakery, Cowgirl Creamery, Palace Market and Stellena were all within walking distance. This place exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean and well maintained with everything we needed and more. The beds and linens were more comfortable than most hotels we've ever stayed at; the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve a wholesome dinner and breakfast. The owner and host were very friendly and helpful! Thank you, Andrew! We look forward to coming back to this place! My wife and kids had a memorial time there and in Point Reyes! We will definitely spread the word about this place!

The Creamery Cottage is a really lovely place. I stayed there for several days last summer with my two sons (ages 8 and 11) and we are looking forward to returning some day soon. The house was perfect for us - cozy and clean. When we arrived I felt like I had arrived at the home of a friend. The home is well cared for, charming and tidy. The linens were good quality and the kitchen well appointed. When we arrived during the summer, Andrew's amazing garden was full of fruit. We ate fresh fruit our whole stay (apples, plums and blackberries). One day we picked blackberries and then made a crumble using a recipe from one of Andrew's cookbooks. The yard is fenced in so you have a feeling of privacy when you are in the garden. There is a good quality washer and dryer in the laundry room next to the house - as a mother with two boys this was a must for me! There is a lovely view from the dining room table and a little deck out back where I sat with my coffee and a book in the morning. If you have never been to Point Reyes Station you will be pleasantly surprised. It is a lovely town. Be sure to visit Bovine Bakery and the cheese shop at the end of town. Every day we walked or biked into town (which is just down the street from the house) for lunch or an ice cream or just to wander thru the shops - there was a store with garden and home items that I loved and the kids found a toy store at the back of the lumber yard. We took a guided kayak tour with Blue Waters Kayaking. It was supposed to be a two hour tour but the day was so beautiful that our guide spent an extra two hours with us at no extra charge. That was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We also went to the Olema Inn for dinner one night and spent an afternoon on the bike trail that runs thru Samuel P. Taylor Park. Anyhow, you get the idea. There is so much to do in Point Reyes - but it is also an incredibly peaceful place. Andrew seems like a great guy. I contacted him at the last minute looking for a place to rent. He responded to my inquiry very quickly and gave me all the information I needed to get there. When we arrived everything was as he promised. I am looking forward to a return visit to his home.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The cottage is well-appointed and very well located for walking to bakeries, restaurants and galleries but just enough off the main drag as to be quiet and peaceful. It's a short drive to the oyster restaurants, Point Reyes National Seashore, and many other local beaches, trails and attractions. When we were done exploring, we sat in the numerous chairs on the deck and in the garden, enjoying the peaceful sound of the fountain and the beautiful trees and plants. Inside, the beds were comfy, the sitting areas pleasant, the house was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve all the wonderful foods we bought at the farmer's market. The owner is pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again!
