  • Thanks Miranda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, saving us both money and time. Although the volcano national park was hours away, I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. The condo, grounds, pool and beach were beautiful. We love ground floor units, easy entry/exit and the kids can just run around without worry. I would highly recommend your unit to anyone wanting to visit the Big Island. Mahalo!!!

  • Unit 16D at Kolea is fantastic. The ground floor is great for the kids to run out on the grass from. The unit is furnished beautifully with everything you'd need and there is simply no-where better than Kolea. We'll be back next year.

  • We had an excellent stay in this condo. My two daughters (4 and 7 years) liked the facilities at the Kolea and close proximity to the Hilton and Marriott. This unit is extremely well appointed and has most everything you need to support your stay (cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen supplies, even sand toys for kids). The new market at the Queens shopping center is very nice and within walking distance. We made use of the outside Viking BBQ, cooking mahi and tuna many of the nights we stayed. Overall a great place.

  • Our family enjoyed our stay in Kolea. This was a lovely and comfortable unit. The Kolea complex is a new, upscale gated complex. Our only negative comment is that the rules at the pool area were not family-friendly. No kids were allowed in the hot tub under 8 years old and no toys of any kind were allowed in the pool. We were told by the manager that the complex is considering building a separate kids pool.
