We are only 3 houses from the beach access which leads to a private, wide, uncrowded beach heaven!
Newer living room furniture, washer/dryer and dishwasher,and range/oven/microwave all new within last three years. "Aquaduck" is an easy walk to the beach, community pool & tennis ( about ten houses away), shopping(Tim Buk Tu) restaurants, and a movie theater. Beach access path is on other side of street across from stop sign--so close.
Crown Pointe is a cul-de-sac type neighborhood in Corolla thus there is no cut through or cross traffic--great for pets and little children. And lots of wide beach on which to play in the summer!!!

Lovingly decorated in a beach-cottage style, Aquaduck, boasts over 1000 square feet of decks, two in front and one in back, with upper level views of the ocean from the front. Relax on the large hammock or swing on the shaded mid level deck. All linens included and beds made upon arrival
Overall interior is 3000 sf.
Lower level includes a bedroom with two twins, full bath, game room with foosball and a queen sleeper sofa.
Mid level includes a king master bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub, a queen master bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub, a queen bedroom and a double bunk (4 twins) set bedroom that share a bath. Large rear deck with brand new hot tub (May 2010) is accessed from hall and queen master bedroom. The mid level front deck with hammock and swing can be accessed from the other queen bedroom or the king master. Laundry area is on mid level with newer washer and dryer (3 years old)
Top level includes a fully equipped kitchen (all appliances new within last 3 years), a half bath, open spacious great room with recently updated furniture, wet bar,and a large open front deck with nice views and sounds of the ocean. There is an all weather enclosed porch off the dining area with a ceiling fan/light allowing for a more 'al fresco' type dining in any type of weather.
Amenities include: Community pool and tennis, multiple TVs, wireless internet, multiple VCRs, DVD player, barbeque, gas fireplace, foosball, highchair, port-a-crib, hot tub (new 2010), Jacuzzi tub, enclosed porch and wet bar, deck swing and hammock facing ocean, and lots of beach chairs.

Thank you for a lovely stay in your fine home. Despite hurricane Irene, we got our OBX vacation! In particular, we enjoyed each of the half dozen ways to prepare coffee! The weather was gorgeous most of the week and even the storm was an awesome experience. The neighborhood was charming and so quiet. We also enjoyed biking and the community pool. This is our second stay at Aqua Duck, and it was as perfect as the first. A beautiful home with everything we needed for a great vacation. Tons of boogie boards and chairs for the beach, and everything you need to enjoy a night in - the kids loved the game room and all the movies. My favorite things are the beautiful decks with a view of the ocean. If you want to stay in Corolla - this is the place to be! Thank you, Carl and Claudia, for sharing your house!

Carl and Claudia, Thanks you so much for sharing your vacation home with us. We had a great week. We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks 9 times in the past 29 years, this home was by far the best house yet. The location was great, easy access to both the beach and the pool. The entire house was well stocked with quality items, there was nothing we didn't have in the kitchen, there were plenty of quality beach and deck chairs, plenty of seating. Everything was great. The cake and coffee on our arrival was a pleasant surprise. We will recommend this house to others and will rent it again if it is available. Thank you both so much for allowing us to use your wonderful home. This house certainly is WELL equipped! We could not have asked for more. The location is FABULOUS-so close to beach and shops--and so quiet. It was so enjoyable just to sit on the deck and relax in the evenings. The weather has been perfect these past few days--85 degrees and sunny. The kids and dog even went into the ocean--too cold for the adults!! We are all sad to leave. Everyone had a fantastic time. Your home was perfect for a family of both adults and children to share for a week. It was our first family reunion which we hope will become a tradition. There was no need to eat out--your home was equipped with everything for cooking for large groups and we loved relaxing on the deck in the evening after long strolls on the beach. Thank you for everything--we enjoyed the cake and coffee on our arrival.

Our family represents Mentor, Ohio, State College, Pa., Greenville, SC, and Fairbanks, Ak. The weather has been perfect and we have plenty of room to be together and apart when we need to be. Thank you for sharing your beautiful well equipped home with us. My children, grand children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn't need for anything. We enjoyed the games, books and movies. The weather was fabulous. We saw lots of dolphins in the distance. The boogie boards, skim board and chairs were wonderful! This truly was home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at the 'Aqua Duck'! My whole family all 11 of us! I think everyone LOVED sitting out on the hammocks. This cool house had all the room we needed to fit our family comfortably. We've never got to stay in a house this close to the beach. We had soooo many fun experiences here like mini-golf, dippin dots (yum) crabbing, looking for seashells, hunting down horse shoe crabs and many, many more things that wouldn't even fit on this page. Over all, our family would just like to say THANKS!
