This is our 8th year vacationing at the Outer Banks. We so much enjoyed this time versus the crazy summer times. Your house was beautiful and had everything we needed! The light house horse trip was worth it despite the car getting stuck in the sand. The hot tub was a blast, too. Beach walks were relaxing--we even found a huge intact sand dollar. Many places were closed but we did enjoy Spank's in Kitty Hawk and Sonic. Your house was a great place to ring in the new year. ThankYou!!!!

Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us for our pre-honeymoon getaway. It was the perfect gift. We must say, your home is the most well equipped and cleanest home that we have ever stayed at on the Outer Banks. It is also nice to be so very close to the ocean and near all the nice shops, restaurants, and boutiques in Corolla. The weather was perfect for spending many relaxing moments on the wonderful deck looking at the ocean and you can actually hear the waves! Thanks again.

Thank you for a lovely stay in your fine home. Despite hurricane Irene, we got our OBX vacation! In particular, we enjoyed each of the half dozen ways to prepare coffee! The weather was gorgeous most of the week and even the storm was an awesome experience. The neighborhood was charming and so quiet. We also enjoyed biking and the community pool. This is our second stay at Aqua Duck, and it was as perfect as the first. A beautiful home with everything we needed for a great vacation. Tons of boogie boards and chairs for the beach, and everything you need to enjoy a night in - the kids loved the game room and all the movies. My favorite things are the beautiful decks with a view of the ocean. If you want to stay in Corolla - this is the place to be! Thank you, Carl and Claudia, for sharing your house!

Carl and Claudia, Thanks you so much for sharing your vacation home with us. We had a great week. We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks 9 times in the past 29 years, this home was by far the best house yet. The location was great, easy access to both the beach and the pool. The entire house was well stocked with quality items, there was nothing we didn't have in the kitchen, there were plenty of quality beach and deck chairs, plenty of seating. Everything was great. The cake and coffee on our arrival was a pleasant surprise. We will recommend this house to others and will rent it again if it is available. Thank you both so much for allowing us to use your wonderful home. This house certainly is WELL equipped! We could not have asked for more. The location is FABULOUS-so close to beach and shops--and so quiet. It was so enjoyable just to sit on the deck and relax in the evenings. The weather has been perfect these past few days--85 degrees and sunny. The kids and dog even went into the ocean--too cold for the adults!! And thanks for the bagel gift certificate-very thoughtful and enjoyed great breakfast bagels. Hope you have a wonderful summer season. J & T & family

We are all sad to leave. Everyone had a fantastic time. Your home was perfect for a family of both adults and children to share for a week. It was our first family reunion which we hope will become a tradition. There was no need to eat out--your home was equipped with everything for cooking for large groups and we loved relaxing on the deck in the evening after long strolls on the beach. Thank you for everything--we enjoyed the cake and coffee on our arrival.

Our family represents Mentor, Ohio, State College, Pa., Greenville, SC, and Fairbanks, Ak. The weather has been perfect and we have plenty of room to be together and apart when we need to be. Thank you for sharing your beautiful well equipped home with us. My children, grand children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn't need for anything. We enjoyed the games, books and movies. The weather was fabulous. We saw lots of dolphins in the distance. The boogie boards, skim board and chairs were wonderful! This truly was home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at the 'Aqua Duck'! My whole family all 11 of us! I think everyone LOVED sitting out on the hammocks. This cool house had all the room we needed to fit our family comfortably. We've never got to stay in a house this close to the beach. We had soooo many fun experiences here like mini-golf, dippin dots (yum) crabbing, looking for seashells, hunting down horse shoe crabs and many, many more things that wouldn't even fit on this page. Over all, our family would just like to say THANKS!

Dear Carl & Claudia We feel we were invited to stay in the home of old friends who knew us well--that is how perfect this house was for our stay. The house is beautiful and perfectly appointed. You have provided generously for a perfect beach week. (I am using perfect a lot b/c we had a great week!) From all our favorite movies for a few rainy nights, the foosball table and the beach chairs-we can't think of anything else we needed. We also loved chilling out on the decks and in the hammock. Our 4 and 2 year old boys particularly loved the hammock. We had dinner at North Bank in TimBuck II and it was excellent. Our boys also did the race car circuit at TimBuck II and that was a big hit. This house is in a great location to enjoy Corolla and Duck. We played tennis here and at Pine Island they have great Clay courts. We also did the wine tasting on Wednesday night at the Whalehead Club. It was a lot of fun. And finally thank you for the delicious chocloate cake and coffee. It was so thoughtful. Thanks again so much for opening your home to us. When we return to the OBX we will be staying here.

Wonderful house! Plenty of pots and pans. We had our entire family here for several meals. It was great. It was a first for our family. We came from our last sons wedding and had rented two homes. I know this is too far for us to return, but I would recommend this home to anyone visiting here. It is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it.

Hi CarlI just wanted to thank you and your wife for a great vacation. I got home on Monday but mom, dad, and my grandma are still there until Saturday. They are really having a great time! Also thank you for the cake and coffee..while I was there I ate it for dessert and breakfast! Your home is very relaxing and well taken care of. I am always scared when I set up a vacation not knowing what the place is going to really be like. I got to spend a little time at the beach and had a great time hanging out with grandma on the top deck in those awesome chairs! We spent some time at Timbuck 2 and mom and I climbed to the top of the light house. We even took grandma on a excursion to see the horses….beautiful!!! I hope to make it back to the Aquaduck for another vacation!!Thanks againAngela

Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We've had a fantastic time. Love, love, love the beach--it's so close. Friday was 80 degrees--beautiful and even though it's been pretty cold at times the beach is still the #1 attraction. Did the wild horse tour, Whalehead Club, Wright Memorial and the Big sand dune (what a hike!) The little NC barbecue up the road was awesome. And the steaks from H. Teeter were restaurant quality. Your home is beautiful, lots of room. Thank you again.

Claudia and I wish to thank all of our guests for choosing "Aquaduck" as your beach vacation home. We had a full season this year from the end May until September with many being repeat visits.
