Located only 100 yards from the new West Wall Quad Lift, the Ski History House offers not only the advantages of location (the free shuttle picks up guests at the driveway), but size (sleeps two to twelve) and aesthetic amenities such as antique furnishings,high end beds & linens, fine art photography, and a museum quality ski exhibit. We will also show you around the slopes for free.

The house is designed so that you can have lock-outs and rent only a small, one bedroom, complete unit or the four bedroom house or the five bedroom option. We tried to think of every amenity possible, from the stainless steel french door refrigerator, the 42 inch flat screen LCD TV, DVD, and VCR players with a large selection of titles to view, other TV/DVDs in bedrooms, antique furnishings, pillowtop beds, down comforters, reading library, rotating art exhibits (so if you come often you will see something new) and cozy gas log stove.

The 1000 square foot decks give you views from every direction and the new stainless steel natural gas grill ensures you'll never run out of fuel. Adiant hot water gas heat keeps you warm and cozy while the two jacuzzi tubs will help your weary muscles relax.

Skiing on the mountain is a five minute walk and x-country skiing is close-by. World renown fly-fishing, hunting, and rafting are in the area and mountain biking and hiking are right out-the-door.

People often come for the winters but stay for the summers as the wildflowers are so incredible here. The owners have much literature to help you make your arrangements for summer and winter activities and are glad to act as a Concierge service to make your stay the best!
