At only five minutes by car from the sea (one and a half km), you can find the lovely fisherman's village of Marina della Lobra where you can join scuba-diving courses or excursions to the enchanting coves of marina di Puolo, Ieranto and the island of Capri. Bus stop at 10 metres, children's play ground with slides and swing and free public parking at 20 metres. Sorrento centre, railway station for excursions to Pompei and Erculaneum at six Km. Ideal situation for excursions to Positano, Amalfi, Vesuvio, Ischia.

Massa Lubrense, extreme point of the Peninsula Sorrentina, far from Capri only five km, offers over 100 kms of walking paths marked among lemon and olive tree and maquis, over 20 kms of coast in the heart of the sea reserve Punta Campanella. Is a place where art, history, culture and traditions are met giving extraordinary place environmental sceneries. It's wide on an ample territory and it's constituted from 18 suburbs corresponding to the ancient hamlets. Villa Sorrentina was the most relaxing part of our trip. The whole ambiance was fabulous. We kept windows open to enjoy the lemon orchard behind the property. It was clean and very spacious for us. We cooked in the kitchen and daily walked into town for supplies. You have it all at your fingertips. Hiking is only one option. We chose not to go to other towns b/c the villa was the place to veg out. The owner's son spoke English and gave us necessary info. The owners were very helpful and pleased to have us. We enjoyed this stop immensely and highly recommend it!

This villa was extremely clean, convenient, and comfortable. The bus stop is right in front of the villa to go to Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano......Couldn't have been easier. The kitchen had the necessary equipment to create authentic Italian dishes. There are great restaurants,stores, shops, cafes within walking distance. The family that owns the villa lives right downstairs and is extremely helpful. I will miss you Villa Sorrentina !!!

Our family enjoyed staying at Villa Sorrentina very much. Plenty of room for the four of us. Separate bath rooms was convenient. The living space was confortable and well kept. It was centrally located to everywhere on the Sorrento Peninsula. Public transportation was very accessible. We took buses to Sorrento and trains from there to Naples and Rome. The local food and wines made our stay memorable. We hope to return sometime and would recommend it to anyone. Please, don't be put off by the short wall to downtown Massa Lubrense. The town is typical Italy, Enjoy.
