CLUB HOUSE - Heritage Palms Golf and Tennis Resort is a luxurious private gated golf, tennis, and swimming club community situated on over 500 well manicured acres. Conveniently located off Six Mile Cypress Boulevard between Colonial Boulevard and Daniels Parkway it is just a 15 minute drive to and from Fort Myers International Airport(RSW). In addition to the two 18 hole, par 72 golf courses there are eight Har-Tru lighted tennis courts, a Spa, and nine heated swimming pools - one just 50 paces from your vacation condo. Excellent and affordable dining is offered in the club house dining room where a fabulous Sunday brunch including eggs Benedict, omlettes made to order and a carving station is offered. The Bloody Marys and Mimosas are excellent too! The Heritage Palms dining room continually receives the 'Best Of Fort Myers' dining award for the best club restaurant among all the country clubs in S.W Florida. The club house also includes a well stocked golf shop, tennis pro shop, complete fitness center, and a unique aqua driving range that fronts a 38 acre lake next to the main club house. The pros are very friendly and accomodating. They will be pleased to schedule you for a tune-up lesson or a series of lessons.
OUR HOME - Words alone do not begin to describe our resort condominium which is a new Spanish styled ground floor 1,700 square foot Veranda condo with one car detached garage - AND NO STEPS TO CLIMB! It is fully furnished and whimsically decorated with original artwork, silk plants and knicknacks throughout. It has central air and a natural gas heat system. For safety, central smoke detectors and a sprinkler system are built in. Ceiling fans are located in every room for your comfort. OUR HOME IS A NON-SMOKING HOME.
Amenities include, at your option, transfer of our private club membership to you and your spouse for your entire vacation for a club charged fee of $250.00. Club Membership provides for unlimited golf for both you and your spouse (cart rental is extra), use of all tennis, pool and exercise facilities as well as the use of the private members Lodge and Tiki Bar during your stay. THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF OUR VERANDA CONDO AND ITS AMENITIES IS AS FOLLOWS:
A. The Master bedroom has a private double sink and large walk-in shower in the bath, a walk-in closet and a king-size bed with views to the lake fronted par five, palm tree lined fairway of the Sabal course. His and hers tropical styled bureaus, night stands, and your own cordless telephone.
B. Enjoy remote controlled TVs, and DVD/VHS player/recorders with cable service in EVERY room of your vacation retreat. HBO is included.
C. The den is decorated in a golf motif and has a fold out double bed/sofa, a computer with Windows XL, MS Office, and high speed fiber optic internet service with WiFi. It also has an H.P. fax/color printer/scanner - convenient for checking your e-mail, printing airline boarding passes or making tee time reservation at the club in advance.
D. The living room is furnished with a queen-size, leather upholstered convertible bed/sofa, a dual reclining leather upholstered recliner, a magnificent tropical carved wood entertainment center with a remote controlled 42 inch TV with HBO service. It also has a DVD/VHS player recorder, and a AM/FM/6-CD stereo system with a library of DVD movies and music CD's.
E. The dining area is furnished with a glass topped, Dauphin statuette pedestal dining table that seats up to eight people. Also a mirrored, recessed and lighted dry bar containing all the necessary accessories for mixing and serving your favorite 'Happy Hour' cocktails.
F. The ceramic tiled kitchen with Corian counter top is equipped with bar stools, dishwasher, microwave, electric glass top range, refrigerator with ice maker, filtered water and ice cube dispenser on door. All the plates, glasses, cookware, utensils, and small appliances that you or a chef would need are there including a breakfast nook with a wickered glass top table for four.
G. Aside from the washer and dryer in the laundry area we also provide an iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner.
The fully furnished rear screened lanai affords pleasant lake and golf course views. Sunshine and warmth abound most of the time along with great golf, tennis and excellent dining at the club or at one of the many other fine area restaurants. You can be confident that your will enjoying a memorable, fun filled Winter vacation.
All you need to bring are a few Summer clothes, bathing suits, sun block, some mad money and a fun attitude. You can even leave the beach towels home because we've got them there as well as beach chairs. For the cooler evenings and early mornings include a sweater or jacket and don't forget the rain gear even though December through May is the dry season in Southwest Florida.
MAIN CLUB ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS INCLUDE:
Golf: Two challenging, 18 hole par 72 courses - each with 4 sets of tees to accomodate any skill level. Greens & Courses were completely redone in 2008;
1. The ROYAL at 6756 yards and USGA rated at 72.8/134 from the tips;
2. The SABAL at 6837 yards and USGA rated at 73.4/139 from the tips.
Tennis: Eight Har Tru lighted courts with pro and lessons available;
Swimming: Nine gated and heated "members only" pools. One just 50 steps from your front lanai (a screened in patio) as well as a waterfall pool and heated Jacuzzi at the 'Members Only' lodge and Tiki Bar.
You may also enjoy arobics, bridge, mah jong, billiards, poker, or the free library at the club house or 'Member's Only' lodge.

I enjoy golfing and my wife Carol enjoys being close to the beaches and ocean. Our Veranda at Heritage Palms gives us the best of both worlds - a beautiful environment, security, two terrific golf courses, well manicured grounds and fabulous sunshine. We also cheer on our Villanova Wildcats during the NCAA basketball season. Heritage Palms is truly life in paradise for us.
