  This condo really met our needs and interests. We'd been to Maui a few times and this was our first time staying in a condo. The unit is well-accommodated and clean. Everything we needed including beach gear and a good ice maker were on hand. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but we sleep soundly so it wasn't a bother. We did need it some of the time, but with all the windows and ceiling fans, it would be easy to keep cool. The best part for us was the outstanding Keawakapu beach. After a long day at the beach, the haul back up hill to the condo was tough when we were loaded down with chairs, coolers & towels. However, you can park your car in the lower lot and forego the exercise. It was quiet and, save for a little time between 11 & 1:00 PM, largely underutilized. The grounds are beautifully tended and my mother was in awe of some of the flowers. The location close to the beach walk just to the south was convenient and made for easy exercise. We would stay again!

  This ideally located condo satisfied our requirements for a fantastic summer vacation spot to enjoy the company of our nine year old grandson and ten year old niece. This was the first visit to Maui for them and a return to Maui for me and my wife. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and Maui is still our favorite spot for a relaxing stress free safe holiday. We stayed for 2 weeks and it offered 2 pull out beds in the living room 1 queen and one single, this allows for a family of 4 or 5. The lanai was our favorite spot to eat our meals as we enjoyed the use of the BBQ and had lovely gardens views. This older unit has been well maintained and is well equipped with internet, beach chairs, boogie boards and picnic items. The kitchen is well supplied with dishwasher, cooking utensils and there is a washer and dryer in the suite. The unit has a very nice ambiance and the furniture is very comfortable,tasteful, roomy and clean (I am very particular to cleanliness and this unit was to my standards) and has everything one needs for a fun holiday in Maui. A very quiet unit! The short walk down the green to the pool and beach was the highlight for the kids. After spending hours at the beach we would move to the large clean pool and enjoy reading and sun tanning. When we wanted a more quite time we would spend it at the upper pool just outside our unit. The minute we arrived in Maui, and arrived at our unit the kids were outside exploring the condo grounds which are beautiful. They found bananas ripening just outside our balcony and oranges and limes growing nearby. Being from Canada this was a real treat. Maui offers so much to do if you’re interested. We spent half the time exploring the Island and the other half at the unit pools and beach. We went to Hanna, hiked down Haleakala, went to a Luau, snorkeled at the Sheraton beach and at our favorite spot Honolua bay, hiked the lava flows just past Makena beach, explored Lahaina and of course shopped at Costco. Our favorite place to eat was Maui Taco and Denny’s for the kids and Cheeseburger in Paradise for us. The highlight of the trip was the surf lessons the kids took at Kehei. They have not stopped talking about this experience with us and their friends. We would highly recommend this condo. The pictures shown in VRBO show you exactly what you are renting. The owners were very helpful with our question regarding the condo and we are looking forward to renting it again.

  Highlights: - Very clean - lots of natural light - cool A/C - great views from the balconies (with a handy BBQ) - cool A/C - lots of beach supplies - easy parking - quiet Our stay in this unit was exceptional. It was easy to see that the unit has been well maintained and is very thoroughly cleaned between stays. There was tons of natural light in the unit, yet great shutters and A/C for when you need a break after a long day at the beach. The balcony was great and was a good spot to sit back in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy breakfast. There was a closet full of beach supplies including everything from flippers to coolers to towels and chairs which were very handy - especially the coolers for the day trips to other beaches. We found the unit very quiet and the parking was very easy and plentiful. Access to the unit was easy upon our arrival because of the lockbox - we didn't have to call anyone but rather just walk in and unwind. The pictures really do not do justice for this unit.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

  We stayed in the 2nd floor unit and it was lovely. Condo is well appointed, comfy, clean and well stocked with good quality cooking/eating supplies in kitchen. Unit has boogie boards, umbrellas, coolers, etc. Everything you need for a great vacation is here. We were even accomodated with a late check out to coordinate with evening flights, you cannot ask for anything more.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

  Loved your condo! Well equipped, steps from a quiet serene pool, minutes down the path to the beach! The condo was beautiful - nothing we didn't have at our fingertips - thank you for a wonderful vacation

  We thoroughly enjoyed 48E! It had amazing views, was equipped with everything we needed, and was a short walk to the most beautiful beach in the world! We loved your condo, and look forward to coming back next year
