This is a recently renovated empire home with hardwood floors, new bathroom, kitchen and fresh paint throughout. This clean, comfortable and open home will provide a quiet getaway in one of Michigan's gems. Located just North of the Downtown Empire area, you are far enough off the beat and track to enjoy a quiet evening and close enough to enjoy a day at the beach, dunes or any of the areas many attractions.
A city park is located nearby, offering baseball diamonds, tennis and basketball courts. The Empire beach has both a small inland lake for younger swimmers, with a playground closeby and of course, Lake Michigan for the more experienced swimmer. The Public beach has had an extensive remodeling with new restroom facilities, basketball courts and playground equipment in the summer 2007 season. A public boat launch is available for both S. Bar Lake and Lake Michigan.
Downtown Empire offers shopping, dining, antiquing, museums and Ice Cream Parlors. On your way to nearby Glen Arbor, for their many shops and dining spots, drive through the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park to experience the breathtaking views from the Pierce Stocking Drive and lookout. Or, Try one of the many dune climbs.
The fall colors are some of the most beatiful available in the state and the golf and fishing are incredible.

SINGLE FAMILY ONLY RENTAL
Saturday to Saturday rentals. Please bring your own bed linens and bath towels.
Recently added, Dish washer and garbage disposal in the kitchen and washer and dryer in the basement.
Other planned improvements for the 2009 summer season are WiFi and a 3rd Bedroom in semi-finished basement. As of July 1, 2009, the 3rd bedroom dowstairs is not yet ready.
