Looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation? The Portofino Resort and Spa on Pensacola Beach is exactly what you're looking for. Situated on 28 acres, The Portofino is directly next to the undisturbed Gulf Island National Seashore and overlooks the sugar white sand and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It is isolated from the noise and congestion of busy beach towns, yet is just minutes away from the shopping and restaurants of The Boardwalk and the historic city of Pensacola.
Imagine waking up every morning to the sounds of waves on the beach and the cool breezes off the Gulf. You can enjoy breakfast on the balcony with panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico and Santa Rosa Island. After breakfast, head over to The Lifestyle Center for a massage at the Aveda European Spa or take a yoga class at the state-of-the-art Fitness Center.
You can also take a swim in the indoor Junior Olympic swimming pool overlooking Santa Rosa Bay or if the weather is nice, use the two infinity-edge outdoor swimming pools, each with its own spa. For lunch, you can eat by the pool or dine inside at the Terra Cotta Restuarant, where they serve both lunch and dinner.
After lunch, you can take a walk along the beach, rent a bike and ride through the National Seashore, or take a tennis lesson from the pro on one of the five Rubico clay tennis courts. You can also visit downtown Pensacola, go to the Gulf Breeze Zoo, or visit the Naval Air Museum where the Blue Angels are based.
For dinner, there is a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill on the balcony. But since you're on vacation, the Boardwalk is a quick five minute drive that has many restuarants to choose from. Once back in the condo, you can watch TV, read a book, or fall asleep, knowing you can wake up the next morning and do it all over again.

Our two bedroom, two and a half bath condo is in Tower Four (next to the Lifestyle Center) and was designer decorated and finished April 2006.

Why the Owner Chose Portofino
We love Pensacola Beach for its beautiful white sand and emerald waters of the Gulf. Most importantly, it is quiet and peaceful. We have looked throughout the Panhandle of Florida for a second home, and the other beach towns were just too crowded. We didn't want to wait for two hours at a restaurant or get up early just to secure a spot on the beach. Pensacola was perfect for us, with its Historic Downtown, Pensacola Naval Air Station, and the conveniences of a larger city, there are plenty of things for us to do. The Portofino is three miles from the Boardwalk, where all of the beachfront restaurants and gift shops are. It is also the last resort on the eastern end of Pensacola Beach, with twelve miles of un-touched National Seashore, you will always find a peaceful beach to relax on.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The Portofino has the best amenities of any resort you will find. It is a gate-guarded community, so the only people enjoying the amenities are guests and owners. With eight pools and spas (one indoor), a large Fitness Center, a restaurant that provides pool-side service, five clay tennis courts, Adventure Cove for the kids, and even beach chair service. The resort spans from the Gulf to the Bay, allowing great views from every condo and virtually anywhere on the resort. Our Homeowners Association and the Premier Management group have both done an excellent job maintaining and introducing new amenities for our guests to enjoy.
Three miles away from the Portofino. Has lots of gift shops and restuarants, including Hemingway's, Flounders, and Crabs.
Nicest mall in Pensacola. Has Best Buy, Marshalls, Macy's, World Market, and Target. Restaurants include Macaroni Grill, Chilis, Olive Garden, and TGI Fridays.

We live in the Atlanta suburb of Cumming, Georgia. I work at a hospital near us, and my wife, Kristine, stays at home taking care of our four children. Though Pensacola Beach is five hours away, its still the closest beach to us. We all enjoy the road trip, as it helps us bond as a family. We take a lot of pride in keeping our Portofino Condo perfect and our guests happy. The condo is filled with amenities to meet our family's needs, and we have the best housekeeper who keeps it spotless. We care about your experiences and will do everything we can to make sure you come back.

We cannot begin to express our happiness at the first sight of this gorgeous condo. The Portofino resort is marvelous, and this unit in particular had everything that we could have wanted. Louis has thought of everything, and pays close attention to detail. The unit was clean, well-supplied, and elegant. We were very comfortable. Our two teenage daughters very much appreciated the two boogie boards that were provided, and my husband and I made good use of the beach chairs. There are many good local restaurants to enjoy, as well as an excellent one in the resort. The girls highly recommend the banana smoothies they were served poolside. On a rainy day, Destin (with so much shopping!) is a short hour drive away.The girls also were able to parasail with Key Sailing and the guys there made it an exciting and fun experience for all of us! Louis was a gem to work with, he communicated with us before, during and after our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you again! We hope to come back soon!!

The Trinhs were so very easy to work with making reservations. The condo is JUST PERFECT. The decor is simple,clean and chic...such good taste. I prefer a tranquil decor while at the beach. I am very particular about that part when selecting a condo to stay in. Cannot wait to go back very,very soon. It is just perfectly located and the view is spectacular. The location of the tower is close to the spa/restaurant/concierge,/etc and that is so very nice too. I highly recommend and will most certainly will be staying here again:)

My family loved this condo...very spacious and the views were fabulous from every room. The resort has so much to offer...lots of pools, including an indoor one, restaurant to order pizza, etc., poolside, spa and fitness center too. The beach is gorgeous and not crowded. The condo is decorated beautifully and well maintained. We loved every minute of this vacation and definitely will come back to the Trinh's condo.

This condo truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we entered the unit, the view through the hugh sliding glass doors never got old. Both bedrooms and the main living area have full height windows facing the gulf. Waking up each morning and having coffee on the balcony listening to the waves was a welcome vacation. The inside of the condo was both homey and elegant. My wife actually is thinking of painting a couple of rooms in our house in similar colors. Our thanks to the owners for creating this experience. Also, Pensacola Beach was very relaxing compared to both Destin and Panama City.

Doing business with Louis was easy...he was very informative, helpful, and even contacted us at the condo to make sure we were enjoying our stay! We will be back again in the future, and I will not even consider staying anywhere else.

My family and I just returned from a week at the Portofino. What an amazing place! We love Pensacola Beach - and there is no competition when it comes to accommodations. We will never be able to stay anywhere but here again! The staff members are very friendly, the condo we stayed in was gorgeously decorated, and the owners were gracious. The condo had every comfort of home and is beautifully maintained. We sat around the dining room table and played board games at night - something we rarely do at home. It was fantastic! We enjoyed all the extras! The condo owners were very thoughtful!! The pools and jacuzzis are very clean. The atmosphere was perfect. We will be back!!

WOW! Words can't describe how incredibly beautiful this condo is! It is impeccably decorated and the view is to die for! The Trinh family was so nice and accommadating to our every need. Portofino was a great place to stay, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and gave outstanding customer service. We rented from the owner and everything was great. Our condo was as good as a five star hotel. The view was excellent. The condo was beautifully furnished, had two beach chairs w/umbrella for the beach, and all the kitchen appliances you would find at home. Our friends that went with us were very impressed with everything. It was very easy to contact the owner, pay him and all the information in accessing the property amenities were very will explained. The owner made available local restaurant menus so it was easy to decide where to go. Our favorite restaurant was Hemingways and Peg Leg Petes. The beach around the resort was very clean, not heavily populated, and very relaxing. The resort activities were fun and easily charged to our room so that we could pay for everything when we checked out. We will use this owner and property again. Our friends were so impressed they plan on using this owner and property as well. We previously rented this unit and were there with 3 kids; this unit was very spacious and accommodated a family nicely. Impressed with the resort, owner, and all the activities. We love Pensacola Beach and we feel that this is the best place to stay on Pensacola Beach. We will continue to make this a vacation destination every year.
