The Unique Benefits at this House
The house is 2 houses from the sand, so swimming and playing on the beach are our favorite pastimes. We like to walk to our favorite local restaurants. And people watch on the Venice Boardwalk. The house is great for casual entertaining.

Group of 6 stayed at the beach house from July 8 th to July 14 th 2011. We had a fantastic time . The house was roomy and comfortable with all amenities. Location was excellent, easy walk to Venice beach and boardwalk and good base to see LA from. The house was quiet + secluded and felt like a little oasis, we felt safe and secure and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tina was very friendly and helpful .

This is a great beach house! We were a family of 6 and fit very comfortably. The house had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Steps to the beach. Hot tub was great! Our family would recommend this beach house for your stay. We will definitely come back!

The location was one very short block from the beach and about the same distance to the Venice boardwalk. The Venice canals are about the same distance in the opposite direction. Tina is wonderful, everything that she says she is going to do she did. Her home is a joy to stay in. I know that she probably wouldn't mind small children staying there but I would think twice about that because she has sooooo many knick knacks and antiques that I personally would be scared that small children could break them. We were six adults and slept comfortably. The air bed no longer holds air properly so in the room that only has a twin having a couple sleep there without the air bed might be a little too cozy lol, but my son and very small skinny wife did just that. :-) The other 2 bedrooms and their beds are large and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked has all pots, pans, dishes, glasses and condiments and teas and stuff left over from all of us that have gone out and bought stuff and decided not to take it home. There was sugar and salt which I had forgotten to buy so I used some. I left coffee which I had bought. So it seems that we all chip into the kitchen stuff. Tina's kitchen is large and very functional. We all ate at the large dining table and played cards there too. She has all sorts of board games and stuff available too. The house is clean. One bed did not have it's sheets washed and I told Tina (who lives out of town and has a cleaning crew) and she explained that if the bed is made the maid probably overlooked that it needed washing. There were available clean sheets in the closet to change out. So it was no problem, but I did tell Tina that I thought regardless of whether the beds were made or not the cleaning service should strip them every time and wash them for the next renters. Tina was very gracious and said that she would speak with them. There are also plenty of towels. There also are all kind of leftovers in the bathroom. I left shampoo and conditioner. Overall all 6 of us agreed that we had a GREAT time and that renting a house was indeed the right choice for us. We all agreed that we would re-rent this home if we were back in the area.

This place was just perfect for a family of five, all adults, in town for a wedding. We enjoyed the proximity to the 'boardwalk' and good restaurants. Mom and Dad especially enjoyed having their morning coffee in the real quaint front yard. There was lots of privacy and room, wonderful furnishings and really clean, with everything furnished. We'd certainly rent again the next time we have a good reason to fly cross country. The owner was a quick phone call away for 'emergencies' such as, 'I can't find the ironing board'. This was reassuring.

Five ladies stayed in the house for three nights. House itself is roomy and comfortable but area was somewhat disappointing. The neighborhood has seen better days and can't really recommend immediate area for older ladies. Too bad as house was quite nice.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this well maintained older house. The property was excellent and the landlords were very easy to deal with. The location was excellent - easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Relatively easy drive to LA attractions. Very close to LAX.

We stayed here a couple of years ago with 3 kids. We had a marvelous time--close to the beach, walking about the neighborhood, close to DisneyLand and other attractions. We loved the neighborhood, and the house; I heartily recommend staying here.
