Kudos to the owner and this website: The description and pictures of the property is completely accurate. The Grand Sandestin is glorious and the condo is in excellent shape. It is a mere stone's throw from The Village - where we enjoyed Shanty burgers and the Tuesday night fireworks. A couple of things: (1) You cannot ride the tram from the Grand Sandestin to the beach at all - you have to drive and quite frankly, in the heat that is better (2) Our two 8 y.o. daughters slept fine as they shared the queen sofa but if you have two kids and they can't share a queen sleeper sofa together, then look for a bigger place. The place was quiet and we had everything we needed at the condo. Our family would love to go back in a couple of years. Big thumbs up to the Condo and Destin!
Owner response:Sunshine Shuttle Service is now available for all guests as pay per ride service thruout the resort.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Thank you Denise for a wonderful stay. You were so helpful to us in planning this trip. We loved the unit. The sunsets were amazing. The first night we arrived there was a party on the grand lawn and there was a guitarist playing as the sun went down. Loved having the second bathroom as well. We could both get ready for a night out in the wharf at the same time. Speaking of the wharf, we loved being so close that we could walk to our favorite restaurants and watering holes. Not having to deal with parking was priceless! We also took advantage of the bike rentals in Sandestin. What a great way to see the resort. Thanks again for a great Spring Break 09! My husband and I stayed in this lovely condo March 8-15. We enjoyed our stay and the condo is very comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen is set up with everything you could need. We've stayed in Sandestin for years and we especially enjoyed this location, close to the Village's restaurants and activities. The sunsets and view from the condo are great - nice balcony!

02/17/09, Positive Rating We just returned from spending the month of January, in the condo shown in VRBO #117799, and we loved it. All the features/views/benefits associated with this unit are accurately reflected in the VRBO information section, so I will primarily focus on the friendly/efficient people who coordinated with us on this condo. Initially we communicated with Denise and received great service from her. She made it easy and finalized all the arrangements for us. During our stay we contacted the local support team (Jennifer and Greg), and they gave us a nice tour of other lovely condos they also have available. They too were very friendly and helpful. Our interaction with these three key people help make it an outstanding experience for us. To summarize, we had a wonderful condo for the month of January, we had great support people to coordinate with, and we will be staying with them again when the opportunity presents itself.

I cannot say enough about how nice this condo is. The decor is really pretty and festive. It was nice to have that extra bathroom that alot of one bedroom condos don't have. I loved the nice large balcony. The location is great too! We will definetly plan to stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay in this unit. It is a beautiful condo- well maintained and equipped. We plan to stay here again. The amenities card is a real plus- free bike and shuttle.

We stayed in this unit for 10 days in April 2008. We have stayed at this resort for the last 6 years and found this particular unit to be in excellent shape and have a great location and view. Everything was exactly as promised. Very convenient for a couple or those with one or two children due to proximity to restaurants and entertainment/activities. Excellent value. We would definitely choose this particular unit again.

We recently stayed in this beautiful condo Jan. 18- Jan. 23, 2008. We had a wonderful time even though we had some rain and it was cold. The Baytown area is wonderful and so convenient to walk to restaurants. We had wonderful meals at "Another Broken Egg" (our favorite place for breakfast) and Nick and Jim's BBQ! The view is wonderful and relaxing and the condo is very quiet. We hope that we can come back in August and enjoy the beautiful pool!! Mary Ann Rooks

We stayed in RVBO #117799 for 4 days. The location is fantastic to all the restraunts and shopping at Baye Town Warf! It becomes really crowded at night and public parking is hard, so we prefer to be within walking distance of the night life. We were enjoying the night and ended up having a perfect view of the Friday night Fireworks that looked like they were coming from the beach. It was such a pleasant surprise. The pool was perfect for the kids, with beach type access, my little ones played in the water for ever!!! What a fantastic Place! We will definately will come back!

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that we really enjoyed the condo and our stay, we never thought we would enjoy staying somewhere that was not on the gulf but I think we liked it better. I think that we will become regulars with you now. Thanks for all of your help. Casey Griep

WE STAYED AT THE GRAND SANDESTIN VRBO#117799 FOR THE 2 WEEK PERIOD OF FEB.25 TO MAR.11. THE ACCOMMODATIONS WERE WONDERFUL AND MET OUR EVERY NEED. THE ONLY DRAW BACK WAS THE GAS BARBEQUE THAT WAS ADVERTISED WAS NOT WORKING. WE WERE RELYING ON THAT ASPECT SINCE WE DO NOT WANT TO EAT OUT EVERY NIGHT OR COOK IN THE CONDO. THE CONDO POOL WAS NOT HEATED.OTHER THAN THOSE TWO PROBLEMS THE STAY WAS PLEASENT AND QUIET.WE WOULD LOOK AT RENTING AGAIN.
