  This house is terrific! We rented it for a week in early August with our two teenage daughters. Having a private pool was perfect for lazy hours when we didn't feel like going to the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the grocery stores were about 15 minutes away by car. The nearby beaches are fabulous, as is the nearby snorkeling. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were a ton of towels and the cooking facilities were everything we needed. The air conditioning was a welcome break from Aruba's heat. I highly recommend renting this house. If we go to Aruba in the future, we would definitely stay here again! Just one word of advice: be very careful of the sun on Aruba (especially at the beach) and use the most waterproof sunscreen you can of the highest SPF. We got a little bit burned, and we were being really careful! If you have fair skin, you may want to bring a good beach umbrella, as the palapas on the beach are usually "taken" and then you are left with no shade in the VERY HOT and very strong sun (much hotter and stronger than Hawaii, for example).

  Our family stayed here in February 2010. The home is spacious, very clean and really beautiful. The nicest place we have stayed on vacation. We particularly enjoyed the pool area and loved eating dinner by the pool most nights. Our 2 young boys enjoyed the pool and the closeness to Eagle Beach (5 mins). Eagle Beach was the best for young children because we always got shade with sunbeds there. We loved to go to palm Beach in the evenings for a walk along the beach and ice cream. The home is in a gated golf community which gives you an extra sense of security. Although we found Aruba to feel very safe and friendly. Mark was great to work with and very friendly. The furniture has been updated since the photos above and is even nicer.. We would highly recommend this villa as it has everything you might need. We hope to go back next year!!

  We felt priviledged to stay in this amazing home. It was beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and allowed us to look forward to returning to after a long day of sun & fun. My husband and I believe our trip was truly all we imagined our 30th anniversary vacation could be because of this wonderful home! Our highest recommendation and appreciation for this lovely home with all it's amenities. We could not have stayed at a nicer place nor expected any more from our first trip to Aruba!

  House was everything we expected. Clean, good location, very quiet area, just like HOME. House was well equipped from TV's to cork screws and everything in between. Property mgr. was there if needed and even called to notify us of a time change for our return flight home. Was worth her weight in gold. Thanks to Mark and Lorraine for allowing us to share their piece of paradise.

  This January, we stayed at this lovely villa with a very private backyard and pool. When the owners tell you that all you need to bring is your clothes, you can take that literally. We now know for our next visit that we can travel much lighter. They thought of everything. The property manager was there to greet us and is located nearby to assist you if the need arises. Our family truly enjoyed their stay at this comfortable home. It is beautifully furnished inside and outside. It really is a home away from home. My granddaughter kept referring to it as grandma's house. We thank the owners for sharing it with us. This was our second stay at Tierra del Sol. We love the property and surroundings. We find eating breakfast, lunch or dinner at Las Ventanas enjoyable and so convenient. Without hesitation, we will recommend this villa to friends and family.

  We just returned from a fabulous two week vacation in this beautiful house. I don't believe the pictures do it justice. The house, grounds and pool took our breath away. This was our second stay in this wonderful home, and we do plan on returning. Aruba is a great vacation destination. This house makes it a Perfect destination!   This house was perfect!!.It was so comfortable. The pool and patio was great--early morning and late night swims were awesome. We felt like we had our own private beach right up the street.Put on our snorkels and walked right in--wow!!!My wife and kids can't wait to come back.
