Simplicity, clean lines and whimsical touches add to the coastal lifestyle of this three level 1865 sq. ft. family retreat. Enter into the hallway through 7-foot glass French doors, covered by a pergola dripping with Japanese purple wisteria when in bloom. There you will find oversized Italian porcelain tile and natural hardwood flooring throughout. No high-maintenance carpet in this beach house. Scattering of seashells and seashore treasures appear collectively throughout the house.
The living room boasts soaring ceilings surrounded by stacked windows flooding the room with natural light. The open kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs, whether you're preparing sandwiches or gourmet meals. It also features a large center island and breakfast bar where your pots and pans are conveniently hanging. Off the kitchen is the tropical dining room surrounded by large windows that frame views of the lush, wooded backyard. Stroll through the 7-foot glass French doors and you'll be greeted with a pergola covered, outdoor, BBQ and entertaining area.
A first floor bedroom and attached full bath is a must have, located down the hall at the front of the house. Guide yourself up the light filled open ceiling staircase and at either end of the hallway are two additional bedrooms with full baths. The private Master suite has natural heartpine furniture accented with sea-colored fabrics and art. The bath has corner wrapped maple cabinets topped with wall-to-wall glass mirrors and a glass enclosed shower.
A large walk-in closet is located in the Master bath. Retreat to the Master balcony through 7-foot glass French doors which overlook the lush backyard with clusters of palmettos and tall seapines. One of the two community pools "peeps" the color blue through the thick natural vegetation. We've created a footpath that takes you to the pool and a quick two-minute walk to the beach access. The third bedroom with attached full bath has whitewashed furniture and cozy twin beds covered in handmade sea-colored quilts. Ascend to the third floor sky loft where walls of windows offer panoramic views and spectacular ever-changing sunsets. There is a high quality full-sized futon for a great place to sleep and wakeup high among the treetops.
Cross the curved bridge over the pond directly across the street where you can BBQ or explore the community garden trails. Go left off the bridge and you will find a boardwalk through unspoiled, magnificent Cypress groves. This unique trail extends to Eastern Lake and is part of Point Washington State Park that extends to miles of pristine footpaths and bike trails.
Spend the day at the sugar white sand beaches and then retreat to Synchronicity and the lush quiet surrounding of gardens and nature trails. You have the best of both worlds!
