Lakeshore Pines is the ideal location for a family vacation! Located on the North Shore of Higgins Lake, Lakeshore Pines offers 65 feet of private sandy beach frontage for you and your group.
Lakeshore Pines offer accommodations for up to 10. We have 4 bedrooms on the second floor, each has 1 double bed. We also have a double size futon on the first floor. All linens are furnished and beds are made, just bring your own beach and bath towels!
Amenities include a 5 section cedar dock, barbeque grill, sandy beach area, sandy lake bottom, beach bonfire pit, picnic table and crystal clear water. The water depth stays shallow for quite a ways out into the lake, which is perfect for children.
With several world class golf courses nearby, Lakeshore Pines is a perfect launching point for day trips. Fishing is also excellent at Higgins Lake. Higgins Lake is known for perch, bass, brown and lake trout. In the winter, Higgins Lake has an excellent smelt population. Cross Country Ski Headquarters is nearby for a Winter excursion.
Swimming is fabulous! With a very sandy lake bottom, swimming is perfect for all. Boats, watercraft and jet skis can be rented nearby. Just bring your swimming suit and have a great time in Northern Michigan at Lakeshore Pines!
