This is a great place to stay to enjoy winter sports or just to relax and get away year round. There are many restaurants in the area to enjoy good food and friendly people. We are just 2.5 miles to Big Boulder & 5 miles to Jack Frost Ski resorts. Just a few miles to Split Rock Resort & Lake Harmony. One mile from the the Pocono Raceway.

I had my wife, 5 adult children, and 2 grandchildren here for a week in August of 2009. We loved the location, the large deck with an amazing view, and the time at the beach. The basement was a great place for our grandchildren to play, and the kitchen was supplied with adequate cookware. Only downside was lack of air conditioning for the late afternoon, but the breezes and fans made it manageable, and sleeping was fine. I would recommend this location highly....Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is my 2nd stay in this wonderful home and it has been amazing both times. So amazing that I'm going back in another 3 weeks! It's easily accessible from major attractions in the area all while being a totally secluded house. We love the place and will look forward to many more future weekend getaways! We have been renting this house in July for the past few years. Ever since the first time we rented this place, we have fallen in love with it and don't even want to try and look to rent anywhere else. The house is very spacious and clean. The view of the Mountains from the front deck is excellent. We love the privacy it offers and its wooded surroundings. We stay here every year for the Poconos Blues Festival and even though the festival has moved much further away this year, we decided to rent here again. The owners are very accommodating as well. We couldn't ask for a better place to get away from it all. Thank you for renting to us year and year again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My sister and I decided to stay at this lovely,very clean chalet in PA to celebrate the thanksgiving holiday and her birthday. It was absolutely wonderful!!! We loved it so much. I still miss being there. We couldn't get away from the fire place. We sat in front of it and talked for hours.The view was awesome!!! To sum it all up, it was a lovely little peaceful home to stay in and play in. I would love to come visit again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

great place we spent such nice days, every one of us were so happy. Very clean and can feel that owner really cares about the house. Even during the holiday season, owner took onle the price as listed not like other places.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I stayed there over President's weekend and had a great time. The house was clean, comfortable and very relaxing. It was close to the slopes & restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The house was true to the description, had great views, was clean and spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. We enjoyed relaxing by the gas fire place which warmed up the rooms quite quickly, in addition to the electric heat in each room. The loft was a good place to read or play games. We had alot of fun playing pool and using the dart board. The house is close to stores, skiing, lake and highways. Would definitely recommend this property and return for another stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

A great location for us. Very convenient to I80, I380, & the PA Turnpike. Rooms were spacious and cozy. This was our second stay, and we would gladly stay again. Seems like no matter what season this cabin is the perfect choice.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We spent a weekend at this chalet and were very pleased! The owner was very easy to deal with and the home was in great, clean condition! The views were amazing and the location was perfect! It is only about 25 minutes from Jim Thorpe and close to walking trails along the Lehigh Gorge. Great spot to getaway for the weekend. We would stay here in the future!
