Sunset Island is a unique gated community at 67th Street, Bayside in Ocean City, MD. You feel like you are at a resort. There are many activities at your feet like swimming at either the indoor or outdoor pools, one of the 3 private beaches, or strolling along one of the walkways around the island to observe nature at its best. During the summer season there is family friendly live entertainment on the pool deck nightly. The club house is home to a large workout room that overlooks the indoor pool. There is a seasonal grill/ bar that has views of the open bay, beach with palm trees, and the outdoor pools.
Friendly waitresses serve food and drinks poolside so you can relax with your family and not worry about missing anything. The kids can enjoy many activities like crabbing on the crab pier,riding bikes on the wide brick sidewalks, and playing in one of the Disney World Style interactive fountains.
Everyone will enjoy walking to the seasonal Corner Store Market to get a soda or an ice cream. Some prefer just sitting outside reading a paper and drinking a cup of coffee while watching our beautiful surroundings. If you like water sports, jet ski and boat rentals are conveniently located just past the guard house at the Advanced Marina.
If the big waves of the ocean call, you can walk the 2 blocks to the Ocean across the street. These are just a handful of the many activities to do on the island, but you also have the option to just kick back, relax and enjoy your surroundings. We are excited to offer to you a wonderful vacation townhome. The bay views here are amazing and relaxing.
The first floor is home to a bedroom with a trundle bed, a half bath, a closet, and the laundry room. The second level has an open floor plan with lots of seating and a half bath. The family room has access to the front deck for dining al fresco. The well equipped kitchen is complemented with gorgeous granite, a long dining room table for 12 and an island with 2 bar stools. There is also a morning room with a wicker sectional, a couple of wicker chairs and ottomen to put your feet up.
On the third level is a master suite with a king sized bed,glass shower and jacuzzi jet soaking tub, and access to 2nd level deck. There are also two other fun bedrooms, one with a pyramid bunk bed and the other with a queen size canopy bed. The hall is home to a large full bath and linen closet. The 4th level of the house is topped off with a coppola and a second master suite with its own bathroom, deck, and queen sized bed. There is also an unused closet that I've heard some people put a portable crib in. Out back, the 2 car garage has a covered parking pad behind it for an additional car as well as an outdoor shower.
The boardwalk, golf courses, movie theaters, night life, and many other activities are just a short way away. During every season, this is a great place to be to have fun and return to year after year.

There's a mushroom waterfall in the shallow end for kids to play in. There is a GATED KIDDIE POOL. INDOOR POOL is in the clubhouse. Children over 3 need a pool pass to gain entrance to the pool area.

I had a great time with my family at Sunset Island but for this particular property I have not received a refund and it is way past my 30 days after departure. The cell phone listed for the owner is disconnected and they have not responded to my e-mails.

This house was AMAZING! It was a great way to celebrate our daughter's birthday and have all the family together. The house was big enough for us all to have our privacy but still gather together comfortably in the kitchen and living rooms. The neighborhood is incredible, the many decks of the house are perfect. The house itself was so great that we didn't want to leave! So close to everything you need yet private at the same time. The accommodations were great and the communication was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We just returned from Ocean City and this townhouse was wonderful! Beautifully decorated, amenities as promised, HUGE and well equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms and beds!It was perfect for our group of ten. Sunset Island is beautiful. Tree lined streets with southern "neighborhood" feel. The pool area was fantastic, with attentive waitresses serving food and frozen drinks, a very large swimming area indoors and out, bayside beach, impressive health club and very well staffed with lifeguards. (Even the kiddie pool had it's own life guard!) Food was great, but we only ate lunch. Sunset Island has the best location that we could find in Ocean City...a couple of short blocks up to the ocean, safely gated and very well monitored, extremely clean and kept. It is just out of the way enough to feel as though you are not in the middle of the action, and just close enough to get there with a short walk or drive. Early June was a great time to be there as it was not crowded. The porches are attached, so if it were busier, neighbors would make for less private time outside, but overall a perfect family vacation spot. We couldn't have had a better time! Thank you Kelley!
