  We loved our stay at this condo!!! As soon as we entered you could tell it is well cared for. It smelled nicely. Our stay was comfortable!!! We had everything we needed to cook our breakfast and dinners. We were able to wash our clothes daily which made it easier to pack lightly. The beach across the street was fun for my 4 and 2 year old. It was very child friendly with mild waves and soft white sand. The grounds at the maui vista is all very well taken care of. But my favorite thing about the condo were the 6:30p.m. beautiful sunsets on the lanai with my glass of red wine!!!!!! :-)

  We stayed at the condo for 2 weeks in February this year. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were at home. The condo is well appointed with everything you could possible need. The place was clean, the beds very comfortable. We used the Maui Revealed book and the CD of the Road to Hana and found many places and adventures that we never new existed despite coming to Maui for 7 years. We loved how close and convenient the condo was to restaurants and shops and of course just having to cross the road to get to Charlie Young Beach! The view from the lanai was wonderful. It was great to wake up to water views and sit with a cocktail watching the sunset from the lanai. John and Susan, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your home in paradise with us. We hope our schedules and the condo's availability mesh again so we can stay on our next visit to Maui. A great place!!!

  I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a condo with a great view of the ocean, clean, well-maintained, nicely decorated, right across the street from a nice beach and close to other beaches and equipped with all the comforts of home. It's nicely situated in Kihei within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, shave ice, grocery stores, shopping and more. My family and I vacationed in Maui for my 50th birthday. Having coffee and breakfast in the lanai with an ocean view was such a treat! This condo is situated in a very nice complex. The owner is superb! She was very responsive to my questions and replied back very quickly whenever I had a question or concern. Try C&G Shave Ice (the best), Da Kitchen for mixed plates - kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, and more, and Safeway in Lahaina for the best poke - Tsunami was my favorite! I can't wait to go back again!

  We stayed in Susan and John's condo and loved every minute of it. They have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The most important thing to us is having a comfortable bed - we slept like babies the entire time we were there! Plenty of towels in the bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished with anything you need to make a delicious meal on the stove or in the oven or at the grill (grill located on first floor)! They even have a few spices, coffee filters, aluminum foil, and plastic containers so you can take your meal to the beach or store for later in the fridge. The living room is warm and inviting. The lanai was a beautiful spot to have morning coffee watching the sunrise or cocktails in the evening watching the sunset. The condo and the property are beautifully manicured and well taken care of. The beach is across the street and the pool is a wonderful alternative. John and Susan provided a wonderful binder which listed things to do and places to eat along with important information about the area. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to stay in a warm home away from home environment. John and Susan have succeeded in making this condo part of paradise! Recommended for: couples, families with teenagers and children

  I just stayed at Susan and John's 2 bedroom and 2 bath condo. The reservation process was flawless and Susan provided everthing we needed. The condo is directly across from the beach with an excellent view, you can't get any closer to the water at Maui Vista! The condo is clean and well maintained and well stocked with everything from basic spices and small appliances in the kitchen to boogie boards and snorkel gear in several sizes in the bedroom closet. It was quite comfortable for the three and for a little while four of us. With the hide-a-bed the unit could sleep 6. I would definately stay in this unit again! Mahalo!

  Dear Susan and John, Our family just returned from a 12 night stay at your condo. The unit was very comfortable for our family of 4 and well stocked with supplies to make our stay very pleasant! The location is fabulous, with Kam I just across the street. The ocean views are spectacular and I wish I was sitting on the lanai right now drinking coffee watching the people walk by! You were very nice to work with as well and made our stay hassle-free! Aloha! Tim and Carole Cashman

  We stayed at Susan & John's condo in Feb of 2009. The minute we opened our door, we felt at home. The condo is finished with a warm, tropical feel and has all the amenities that anyone could need! The view off the lanai allowed us to watch for whales all day and watch for sunsets in the evening. We could literally walk in with our bags and go immediately to the beach, they supply towels to boards and everything in between! Thanks for giving us a much needed rest and you are right...if you're lucky enough to have a home in Maui, you're lucky enough! We'll be Back! Tim & Colleen

  Your condo was fabulous. We spent 10 days enjoying everything Maui has to offer, your condo made it that much more relaxing. You had everything there a person or family would need to feel like they were at home. We used the beach toys A LOT!! Big plus!! The kids said "this feels like home!" I would highly recommend and will certainly be staying with you again in the future. The Maui Vista is very nice, well maintained, grills are so nice to have. We never used the pool because you have a fabulous beach just a short walk away. We had a ball. Thank you so VERY VERY much!!!

  We had a great time staying at John and Susans. The condo was clean and had every amenity we could've needed. It was centrally located and easy to get to! (Now that the 4 lane highwas is open!) I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling in Maui, singles, couples, families, friends. I would recommend Cafe Ole, a great restaurant within walking distance and the beach across the street! Thanks again Susan and John!

  Thanks Susan...much appreciated! Our trip and the wedding went off beautifully and without a hitch... As for your condo...it was great and had everything we needed as far as I could tell...having some paper products there was a real plus...we did pick up some toilet paper, etc as a group after arriving (at Costco) and used those up, but I suspect we used a couple of yours as well. Paper towel was a great add too. The kids loved having the boogie boards, chairs, beach mats, and toys available and they made the beach trips much more enjoyable...we couldn't get out daughter out of the surf she loved the boogie boarding and body surfing so much! (took another 2 days to get all the sand out of her hair after we left...!!!) We used the cooler bag a couple times as well. (particularly to cool some Champagne for the wedding ceremony) Having a bit of seasoning and salt and pepper, etc was also appreciated instead of buying a lot for only 9 days... ock box was a plus so we didn't have to carry around keys unless we went to the pool, and with parents and us in the same room, this meant keys were not an issue (i.e. who had them at anytime... as we mostly used the lockbox for getting in usually) Having the CD for the drive to Hana was nice and the kids enjoyed a couple DVD movies you had too. Your book there helped as well and we only wish we had more time to go and check out a couple for restaurants...maybe next time... I would highly recommend your unit to others and appreciate you letting us stay there...I only wish we could have stayed longer...
