I just stayed at Susan and John's 2 bedroom and 2 bath condo. The reservation process was flawless and Susan provided everthing we needed. The condo is directly across from the beach with an excellent view, you can't get any closer to the water at Maui Vista! The condo is clean and well maintained and well stocked with everything from basic spices and small appliances in the kitchen to boogie boards and snorkel gear in several sizes in the bedroom closet. It was quite comfortable for the three and for a little while four of us. With the hide-a-bed the unit could sleep 6. I would definately stay in this unit again! Mahalo!

Dear Susan and John, Our family just returned from a 12 night stay at your condo. The unit was very comfortable for our family of 4 and well stocked with supplies to make our stay very pleasant! The location is fabulous, with Kam I just across the street. The ocean views are spectacular and I wish I was sitting on the lanai right now drinking coffee watching the people walk by! You were very nice to work with as well and made our stay hassle-free! Aloha! Tim and Carole Cashman

We stayed at Susan & John's condo in Feb of 2009. The minute we opened our door, we felt at home. The condo is finished with a warm, tropical feel and has all the amenities that anyone could need! The view off the lanai allowed us to watch for whales all day and watch for sunsets in the evening. We could literally walk in with our bags and go immediately to the beach, they supply towels to boards and everything in between! Thanks for giving us a much needed rest and you are right...if you're lucky enough to have a home in Maui, you're lucky enough! We'll be Back! Tim & Colleen

Your condo was fabulous. We spent 10 days enjoying everything Maui has to offer, your condo made it that much more relaxing. You had everything there a person or family would need to feel like they were at home. We used the beach toys A LOT!! Big plus!! The kids said "this feels like home!" I would highly recommend and will certainly be staying with you again in the future. The Maui Vista is very nice, well maintained, grills are so nice to have. We never used the pool because you have a fabulous beach just a short walk away. We had a ball. Thank you so VERY VERY much!!!

We had a great time staying at John and Susans. The condo was clean and had every amenity we could've needed. It was centrally located and easy to get to! (Now that the 4 lane highwas is open!) I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling in Maui, singles, couples, families, friends. I would recommend Cafe Ole, a great restaurant within walking distance and the beach across the street! Thanks again Susan and John!

Thanks Susan...much appreciated! Our trip and the wedding went off beautifully and without a hitch... As for your condo...it was great and had everything we needed as far as I could tell...having some paper products there was a real plus...we did pick up some toilet paper, etc as a group after arriving (at Costco) and used those up, but I suspect we used a couple of yours as well. Paper towel was a great add too. The kids loved having the boogie boards, chairs, beach mats, and toys available and they made the beach trips much more enjoyable...we couldn't get out daughter out of the surf she loved the boogie boarding and body surfing so much! (took another 2 days to get all the sand out of her hair after we left...!!!) We used the cooler bag a couple times as well. (particularly to cool some Champagne for the wedding ceremony) Having a bit of seasoning and salt and pepper, etc was also appreciated instead of buying a lot for only 9 days... ock box was a plus so we didn't have to carry around keys unless we went to the pool, and with parents and us in the same room, this meant keys were not an issue (i.e. who had them at anytime... as we mostly used the lockbox for getting in usually) Having the CD for the drive to Hana was nice and the kids enjoyed a couple DVD movies you had too. Your book there helped as well and we only wish we had more time to go and check out a couple for restaurants...maybe next time... I would highly recommend your unit to others and appreciate you letting us stay there...I only wish we could have stayed longer...

Not since 1972 have I shared a household with my younger brother --until last week when we lived together in Susan and John's Maui Vista condo. What a fun time we had! The condo was perfect for our group providing separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a common living area where we enjoyed each other's company and put together family meals. (We also used the outside bar-be-que area a lot!) All the play toys provided (boogie boards, sand chairs, beach towels, snorkels, etc.)added so much to our daily beach trips. What a great way to catch up and spend quality time with my brother and his wife and what a perfect setting. The whales put on a wonderful show for us the last day we were there and we had the perfect view from the condo's lanai. Thanks for providing what turned out to be a perfect family reunion.

I would recommend this condo to anyone. It was very clean and welcoming and provided everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. There was also information provided on what to see and do. The location was ideal and accross the street from a very nice beach. The complex grounds were beautiful and well maintained with plenty of parking space.

We loved our stay at this condo!!! As soon as we entered you could tell it is well cared for. It smelled nicely. Our stay was comfortable!!! We had everything we needed to cook our breakfast and dinners. We were able to wash our clothes daily which made it easier to pack lightly. The beach across the street was fun for my 4 and 2 year old. It was very child friendly with mild waves and soft white sand. The grounds at the maui vista is all very well taken care of. But my favorite thing about the condo were the 6:30p.m. beautiful sunsets on the lanai with my glass of red wine!!!!!! :-)

Ten days of having accommodations that provided everything that could be needed. Susan was so wonderful in making sure all arrangements went smoothly. Maui is a wonderful place offering the gamut of things to do and places to go. We had to leave some things undone but with a desire to return to fill in more activity. Everything was within easy or reasonable reach. Beach right across the street. Restaurants all around us. But mostly, it was the condo that we enjoyed because it furnished us with all we needed plus extras. Thank you John & Susan.

This was our first time here. This was the best vacation ever! We loved all the stuff you knew we needed. We mostly used the stuff in the closet because we went to the beach a lot. The swimming pool was awesome! You are the best ever! We wish you better blessing than ever!

We had such a great time staying at your home away from home in April that I didn't want to leave. The view was wonderful, the weathers was great and you had everything on hand that we needed to fill up every day we were there. Everything was so close, and we had plenty of room to relax. It was much better than any hotel. The grounds were beautiful and we can't wait to go back again. And the sunsets....need I say more! Thanks so much.

What a great place for us to stay!! Lovely condo, great location, so close to a beautiful beach! The air conditioners and fan were a blessing for our Canadian bodies. None of us had been on Maui before, and we did lots of exploring and snorkeling. What a great place to spend my 50th birthday. We really enjoyed our time here. Thanks so much.

I just spent two weeks in Susan and John's "fun home" and LOVED it! The first week I was with a dive buddy, and we dove every single day -- why not when the boat ramp is only five minutes away? And the evenings were spent mostly in the several pubs and restaurants within walking distance, or right across the street on the beach. Then my dive buddy had to leave and my wife flew out to join me for a week of non-diving fun. And guess what? The condo was great for that as well! In fact, we actually spent more time in the condo the second week, it is so homey. The bottom line? As our Governator says, "We'll be back!"

This place was really nice! VeryCLEAN and NEAT (my personal pet peeves). A great price for the accomodations. Descriptions very acurate. Nice supplies of extras like books, music and beach essentials. A great way to spend a relaxing week in paradise. The internet feature is also a plus. Would go again and again!
