Hi Kathy: We absolutely loved your home, it was so clean and organized, had all the amenities we could ask for and more. Love the location, surrounded by beautiful woods, nice and quiet. Nice walk to the beach and just a really relaxing place. Thank you so much for sharing your home and we would definitely recommend your house or come again! The Eschbachs, Hillsborough, NJ

Kathy, Thank you so much for opening your immaculate vacation house to us! It was homey, inviting, comfortable, clean, child-friendly and had all the ammenities as if we were home. We absolutely loved the outdoor shower, the serene walks to the Bay, short drive to the Ocean, privacy and location of the property, the decks for dining and hanging out...especially appreciated the umbrellas for shade, the beach chairs/umbrellas/toys (less things for us to bring...thanks!), and air conditioners in the bedrooms (we endured a heat wave the entire week). We would absolutely rent from you again, and highly recommend your place to friends! What a wonderful week at the Cape...so looking forward to visiting again next year!!! Thanks again!

This is a great house to rent. We have been renting this house for two years now and will be returning for our third. We have made many great family memories here the past two years. We love the open floor plan, home decor and large decks. The house is very clean, child friendly and comfortable for everyone to enjoy. You are close to shopping, the ocean and walking distance to the bay. Going to the bay is by far our favorite thing to do, especially watching the sunsets. We sat on the large deck and ate most of out meals. My husband and I sat on the second deck in the morning and had our coffee and tea. We highly recommend this house! The owner is a pleasure to speak with and answer any questions. Had a great time in the cape. Thanks again, see you next year!

The five of us had a wonderful stay at your lovely Eastham summer home. It was immaculate when we arrived. You have great taste and every room was beautifully decorated....so homey! It was also fully stocked for a great vacation stay at the seashore. We are sorry we missed you when you stopped by to refurbish a few things. You provided so much and your binders of information were invaluable. Looking forward to more summer fun at Kilbarry by the Bay next year, if possible.

We had a great stay at Kilbarry by the Bay. The house was very clean and comfortable with room for all of us to relax. The owners really thought about everything one might need for a wonderful vacation on Cape Cod. The wooded surroundings were very peaceful after a day at the beach.

We had a fabulous week. We all loved the house and all the beautiful renovations. We were close to the ocean and the bay side. That made it nice for the kids and the adults. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. We loved the two decks and the outside shower. The information in the books was very helpful for planning our week.We would recommend this great place and would love to go back.

This is a great place, by far the best we have stayed in for our annual reunion. The house was beautiful, clean, and very convenient to all Cape activities. 10 of us fit comfortably in the house, and even though it rained a few days, we never felt crowded. On sunny days we enjoyed the large deck and the convenience of a short walk to the beach. We used extensively both the guide on activities and the one on places to eat. All 10 of us recommend Kilbarry by the Bay to all who are looking for a positive experience on the Cape.

This is a great house! Close to everything--bay, ocean, ponds, Wellfleet, ice cream!--but on a nice quiet sandy lane with no traffic. The house itself is nicely renovated and well maintained with plenty of room for two families to share. It's bright, spacious, comfortable, has a great deck and every lawn game you could possibly want. Tons of helpful information about the area--restaurants, activities, beaches, etc. Very highly recommended!

Very nice, comfortable home. Bright and cheery. Space for kids and parents to play together or separate. Close to bay which my children loved - it's different every day, hour by hour, due to the tides. The tidal pools were fun to search for sea life in, the sand bars were claimed as islands, and the water was warmer than the ocean. Bike trail was close and good for all ages. Information left in home made planning activities and sight seeing easy. Had a great time and plan on returning! Thanks!

kilbarry by the bay provided a perfect base traveling band CT Review Submitted: August 5, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008 The owner did a good job of describing and showing pictures of the house and property. the owner took checks or credit cards thru paypal which was convienient. We found it easily. It was clean and freshly updated. We had 6 adults and 5 kids ranging in age 7 to 14 for a week's stay in July. the house has a nice bright family/dining/kitchen where all our activities took place. People read, played games and talked. there are 2 decks, one large enough for 3 round tables with umbrellas where we ate most of our meals. there is a gas grill, lobster pot, all you need for most meals. we all played badmitton in the back yard (all set up). we used the bikes at the house for checking out the neighborhood and for the driver that brought us all to the beach to come down and join us. we gathered fallen wood and got a permit from the visitor center at the National Seashore and made a campfire to do smores just before sun set. it was great for all. we never used the inside showers always the nice large one on the side of the house. the kids used the dvd/movie downstairs a few evenings. we had a blow up matress on the floor in the bunk room as the 3 youngest wanted to sleep together. All the couples had a private room and the two teen girls slept on the futon. our favorite outing was Nauset Ice Cream right across the street we came out on rte 6 on. we went to Ptown, Wellfleet, Orleans and Chatham when it was overcast and everyone found plenty to do. we would recommend this house. Check it out
