  We stayed at the villa for 6 months, and had a wonderful winter in Fort Lauderdale. Walter and Cliff have created a warm, tasteful, aesthetically beautiful living space that immediately felt like home. They are very quick to respond to any questions, and work hard to keep everything carefree. The neighborhood is peaceful and lovely, and the location is convenient to incredible shopping and dining, as well as the beach and the Las Olas Boulevard dining/shopping area. The Oakland Park Blvd Beach is exactly 1 mile away, and has PD parking as well as a regular lot very near the beach. It was so easy to fill a thermos with coffee, and sit on the beach in the morning...or whenever. The beautiful pool is heated so it is useable all winter long. I love to cook and bake, and the kitchen is well equipped to prepare and serve meals for up to six guests as well as 2 residents. This is a little thing, but I loved it: the automatic ice maker...always able to serve a good cold martini!

  This property certainly lived up to its billing. It is unbelievably close to decent shopping (including groceries). The beach is not too far of a walk away. The house was clean, roomy and comfortable. The patio area, with its gardens and a BBQ, was very enjoyable to use. We received excellent customer service. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  Really peaceful location, clean and working environment and all needed amenities available made our stay really relaxing. This place gives what the introduction on the website promises. However can't survive without a car!

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We stayed at the Islamorada Villa for a week in March while purchasing and moving into our new home. The home was extremely clean and very nicely furnished, with everything we needed to be very comfortable. The bottle of wine and fresh flowers that greeted us when we arrived were a pleasant surprise. The yard and patio areas were well maintained and very relaxing, with lots of tropical landscaping and accent lights, plus a fenced in area that was great for our dog. We unfortunately didn't have much opportunity to use the pool, located next to the adjoining unit, but it was very clean and peaceful. We had just two minor problems during our stay -- the propane tank for the grill ran out and the wireless internet went out during a thunderstorm -- and both issues were quickly resolved by Walter and Cliff. One of the best features of the house is the location, just a short drive to the beach and very close to a variety of shopping areas, the nearby Publix grocery store, and tons of restaurants, some of which are walking distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and upscale, with lots of friendly neighbors, and was perfect for taking the dog for walks. We'd highly recommend this home as a great place to stay in Fort Lauderdale!

  We recently spent a wonderful week in Ft Lauderdale. Our group had 4 adults and 6 children (ages 6-18) so we rented both units. Both units are equal in amenities and decorating. They are beautifully decorated with upgrades galore. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows. I especially enjoyed the artwork. The walls are loaded with prints and paintings, many are original. The other thing I liked was the lighting. The fixtures are unique and all have dimmer switches which is great. Like I mentioned both sides are lovely. Each has a very private, covered patio with a table. There is a gas grill on each side. The pool is quite large and is located in the side yard. It is also very private. We were grateful for the wonderfully warm water since there was a cold front the week we were there. We ate dinner out most of the week. There are plenty of close restaurants on N. Federal Highway in both directions. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen (yum), Carrabbas, Bimini Boat Yard, and Sea Watch in Pompano. We tried to eat at Houstons in Pompano but the wait was too long. We had heard it was good. We really liked all of the them. Of course we took advantage of the kitchen and gas grill also. I have to mention a few special welcoming details about this rental. We have rented many condos and houses and never felt so welcomed. Walter personally met the first members of our group to arrive at the house to show them around. In my other rental situations we have had to pick up a key someplace or are given a code to a lock box. Each unit had a bottle of wine, wine opener and glasses thoughtfully placed out in the kitchen for our arrival. The units also were graced with a large vase full of fresh flowers that stayed in bloom all week. Thanks!
