A rare find - a comfortable 4 bedroom family house with INTERNET and private pool in the centre of beautiful, medieval Uzès - the house is particularly suited to longer lets and has been very popular with longer term visitors. Uzès has a fascinating history - wander the maze of narrow streets flanked by elegant stone houses, savour all the flavours of Provence at the famous saturday market, take time to watch the world go by as you sip a glass of the local rose wine or a cup of coffee in one of the many cafes. Uzès is everything you dream of in a holiday in Provence. It is a beautiful, magical town to explore and enjoy. Visitors return again and again. It is also a wonderful base from which to visit the region with many places of interest within easy reach.
Les Palmiers is a 5 minute stroll from the magnificent Place aux Herbes, the heart of Uzes, with its many restaurants, shops, cafés and historic buildings. There is a bakery 20m from the property and a small supermarket a further 100m away.

Lovely Villa in Uzes

Just wanted to say we had a fantastic holiday at the villa back in May. The welcome we received, and the briefing was the most comprehensive we have ever experienced. The facilities were excellent, great pool, plenty of room to relax and nicely secluded. We had no problem entertaining the children who spent most of their time ‘chilling’ by the pool. We thought the villa was well equipped, given our family size. Often we find that the number of glasses, plates, chairs etc are minimal in some holiday accommodation but this was a different experience. Never had a problem in finding a wine glass or somewhere to sit to enjoy it! Although there is a main road outside the villa is set back from it and apart from the ‘rush hour’ it was always quiet, when we were sitting outside; which was most of the time. The location is excellent for a stroll into the centre of Uzes, and was particularly welcome on market day. We had a really good holiday, would recommend the villa to anyone and are looking forward to a return visit.

We enjoyed our week at Les Palmiers. Fresh croissants from the bakery two doors down always started our day on a good note. The property is very large considering that Uzès markets are a short walk away. The house is a great base to visit the many sights nearby. Our whole family enjoyed relaxing in the garden or by the pool before dinner.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
