Camelot is an 18-story resort located in the Heart of downtown Myrtle Beach at 20th Ave. and N. Ocean Blvd. Across the street you will find coffee at Starbucks,Papa's Fine Dining, and a place to get pizza and ice cream. Beside the resort you will find Bummz Beach Café which is a oceanfront Café that provides food, drinks and live entertainment.
Our condo is located on the 15th floor. It has two queen-size beds and a fold down couch that makes a bed. Our condominium also features a dvd player in the living room and bedroom for entertainment and a video gaming system for the kids.
For outdoor pleasure, relax in the 200-foot heated lazy river, gigantic 90-foot indoor heated pool, oceanfront 60-foot outdoor pool, bubbling kiddie pools with Mushroom Waterfall,oversized sand box on pool deck, two generously sized hot tubs and a lush green oceanfront lawn for sun bathing. Also on-site is a fitness facility, convenience store, game/computer room with a computer and printer and internet access, guest laundry and children's play area.
If you want to fish, you can walk 4 blocks to Pier 14 Fishing Pier and Restaurant. If you want to golf, Camelot is located just a short driving distance from the more than 100 golf courses located on the Grand Strand. Camelot is also located just minutes form attractions like Broadway at the Beach, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, Dixie Stampede, Family Kingdom Amusement and Water Parks, and many other attractions.

I chose to buy this vacation rental because it is centerally located to all that Myrtle Beach has to offer. I don't have to have a car to experience most of the main attraction.

While staying at my condo, my family and I can relax and enjoy the pool and hot tubs, go next door to Bummz for food and entertainment , walk a few blocks to the new Boardwalk or we can walk to the 2nd ave. pier to fish or enjoy the new resturant. This year we can't wait to ride the new SkyWheel.

My husband and I spent a week in this condo and it was great. The view is outstanding. The condo is very comfortable and has everything you need. The attached garage is very convenient to the condo. It is close to everything. It was wonderful to spend a few hours on the beach each day and then float in the lazy river. We hope to spend a week here again next year.

We lucked out and had our whole 10-day stay in the sun. It was wonderful. The owner and Camelot staff were friendly and helpful. Great to have a flatscreen TV and the wireless connection. Our one annoyance was not the fault of the owner (people smoking on their balconies and the smell wafting in from time to time). Overall, a good place to stay.

We recently stayed in this unit 8/7/10 - 8/14/10 and were very pleased. The VRBO website photos are exactly what you get. The unit was very clean and very nice. Beds were comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets. Great view of the ocean and pools. Pool areas were clean. We would gladly stay here again. My husband, daughter and I spent a few relaxing nights in this condo this week and we have no complaints at all. We were pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the condo was with nice tv's, dvd player and even a playstation. The kitchen had all of the utensils we needed except a wine tool, which I had in my car. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows in the closets. There was never any sign that we even had neighbors, I don't know if the rooms adjacent to ours were unoccupied, or whether the sound-proofing is just that good, but we never heard a single noise. We had never stayed in a high-rise beach property like this but we would stay here again because the price was definately right to make it a worthwhile adventure.

Very Good Value Directly on the Beach

The unit size is the width of a hotel room, about twelve feet but very long about 45 to 50 feet. The length is divided into three main areas, first a bedroom area with two comfortable queen beds, then the middle section that’s divided between a bath room and kitchen area and finally the third area was the living room. The living room was closest to the patio and beach view. The patio was small but OK for two adults. The kitchen area is very tight and barely workable. The kitchen could use a dishwasher and more counter space. The pots, pans and flatware could be improved. The bathroom has plenty of room. The two new flat screen LCD TV's had good cable channel selections and quality images. There are TV games for the kids that we didn't use. The unit looked to us to have been remodeled within the last two years and most everything was in very good shape and clean. It was bright and cheerful. The resort's indoor and outdoor pool areas have large very nice pools that would be excellent for families. Of course the beach is right in front of you and it was excellent for walking. The street area in front of the unit was clean, safe and also good for walking. The unit is roomy for a couple, would be crowded for four adults but good for a family of four with two young children. We were there the last week of October, 2008 so the resort had very few people, perfect for us. I would assume that peak summer time would be very crowded with families. Overall we enjoyed the area, the resort and the unit. We don't hesitate to recommend it.

Just returned from 5 wonderful nights in Myrtle Beach. Stayed from 9/7-9/12. This condo is great. It has everything that you would ever need for your beach stay. It is very well equiped with kitchen amenities. The view of the beach from the balcony is wonderful, you can see a long way up the coast in each direction. The pools and deck areas are very well kept. We will be coming back again. Thanks so much!!!!

My husband and I just spent 10 days here - it was very nice - great for two or maybe 3 people. Other than the refrigerator which hadn't been cleaned, and dirty behind the couch (we had to move it out to retrieve something we dropped)it was acceptable - the queen-sized beds were VERY comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Lots of room in the bathroom. the camelot has great amenities and if you like to walk like we do it's right in the heart of Myrtle Beach so you can walk to just about ANYTHING - we even walked to Broadway at the Beach. We would definitely go back again.
