This beautiful contemporary two-story private lakefront home has a new Sun Room, a large living area with kitchen, dining area and living room (see the pictures). This house sits on a large wooded lot with a gentle slope to the water in a beautiful cove, featuring a great view of the main lake.
Main living area features an extended living area with large kitchen, dining area and living room. This opens to a new 14’x 22’sunroom that overlooks the lake. The sunroom features a large table for dining that seat 10 comfortably and a wicker sofa and chairs for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views. There is a deck off of the kitchen and sunroom for barbequing with a Weber gas grill. There is also another large table in the dining area that seat up to 10 people. The entire house has central air-conditioning and heat with ceiling fans in all living areas and bedrooms. There are 5 bedrooms & 3 full baths.

There are 5 bedrooms & 3 full baths. The master bedroom is on the main level and has a luxurious king-size bed and private bath with shower. There are 2 additional main level bedrooms, one with another king-size bed and the other with a queen size-bed. The first floor has another full bath with a shower/tub. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor one with a queen size bed and the other with 2 twin beds. The 2nd floor also has a full bath with a shower/tub. The complete kitchen has electric range, refrigerator, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all amenities for meal preparation and enjoyment.
A telephone for local calls is provided. The main living area has a 32-inch Satellite TV with a DVD/VCR player, the master bedroom has a 19-inch Satellite TV and one bedroom has a 27-inch Satellite TV with a DVD player. The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa. A laundry area is equipped with a washer and dryer. Linens and towels are NOT provided.
There is a two-tier huge swimming and boat dock on the lake. A paddleboat and a diving board are available for use at your own risk. You may enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and water sports from the dock. You may bring your own boat or rent from one of the local marinas. The dock is great for swimming and sunbathing. You can park your boat right up to the dock. Lake Gaston water is pure, ideal for swimming and fishing. Water-skiing and jet skiing too!
This 30 mile long lake on the Virginia/North Carolina border (1 hour/Raleigh) is top for striper fishing and host to seasonal fishing competitions. The house has a paddleboat, available to visitors, great for paddling out to view swimming ducks, and other small wildlife.
Property is ideal for relaxing or enjoying water activities. It is close to the main marina on lake that has grill and gazebo with a spectacular lake view. The Waters View Restaurant is also a short boat or car ride from the property. This restaurant has a great view of the lake while you are enjoying food and beverages.
Lake Gaston is a large quiet lake with a water temperature over 80 degrees in the summer.
The normal height of the water at Lake Gaston is 200 feet above sea level and by regulation the water depth may vary only one foot plus or minus from the normal level except in case of emergency. And with virtually no pollution, the water is almost drinkable without treatment. Lake Gaston is a spectacular lake and a great spot to enjoy water sports, to fish, to boat, or to simply relax! Lake Gaston is located in the states of North Carolina and Virginia. It is close to the major cities of Raleigh, North Carolina and Richmond, Virginia. This is a great spot if you love boating, fishing, water sports and an easy, relaxing, fun-filled vacation.

Why the Owner Chose Littleton
We visited Lake Gaston several years ago & instantly fell in love with this beautiful lake. The water is so clean & refreshing and it is the perfect place to go boating, swimming & fishing. The lake is relatively quiet and very peaceful. We enjoy traveling the lake by boat, swimming off our dock or in the middle of the lake and sitting on the dock enjoying the view and boats traveling by the cove. It was the perfect place for our children to learn how to tube, water ski, knee board and wake board.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This home is located on the lake in a wide, well maintained cove right off the main lake. Swimming off the dock is just perfect and the main lake is visible form the house and the dock. The house is so comfortable and has the amenities to create a feeling of being at home. The water feels so wonderful; floating on a raft and watching the "world go by" is heavenly. We love to take the boat to the main lake after dinner and watch the sun set. In the winter the sunset can be viewed from the dock.

This house had the best cove and swimming area of all the houses I have stayed in since I started vacationing on Lake Gaston. The location is great and the house was very comfortable. My group made up of family and friends had a wonderful time and would easily choose this home again.

We had a geat weekend at your home. The pictures don't do it justice. The weather was great for early October and we spent most of the weekend on your spacious dock. We had 9 in our group and newer felt crowded. The kids loved the paddleboat.

We just returned from a fantastic week at this house. The location was perfect, in a beautiful cove just off the main lake. The 2-tier docks were wonderful for sunning as well as jumping, diving and fishing. The house is very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The sunroom was fantastic for dining and evening games. The owners are very accommodating and we can't wait to return next year---one week was no where near long enough!

We enjoyed our week at lake Gaston at this home. Weather was great, home is very comfortable, and very well equiped. The sunroom was a favorite place to relax, and the kids really enjoyed swimming, diving, and jumping from the platform. The kids even caught a 23" large mouth bass !

We had a great time at the lake! The house was tucked into a cove and the mornings were shaded with a slight breeze .... very relaxing. The new gas grill was awesome for cooking great meals. HBO and the DVD were nice additions for taking a break to watch movies. We had a great time using the paddle boat in the cove too! Just a very special place to get away & relax.

What a beautiful, comfortable home! A perfect combination of luxury and relaxation, it's a great place for gatherings of family and friends. The kitchen had everything. I think it was better equipped than my own - not something we've ever found in other rentals. This wasn't just a vacation rental, it was like visiting the much-loved home of friends. Water - perfect!
