What a beautiful home and a beautiful setting! My family enjoyed every minute of the weekend! We cooked a family feast of Oysters and steak on the BBQ Friday, went hiking Saturday on the beach in the day and then went out in the evening to a fantastic dinner at Rocker Oysterfellers in Valley Ford. Time in the house was relaxing and easy - everything we needed was available. The hot tub at night watching the stars and Milky Way was incredible. We highly recommend this home, and we intend to return.

Came with five friends for a coast weekend. We really enjoyed our time in this wonderful home! It is a great place to unwind and relax - we hiked at the beach, cooked some barbequed oysters and crab, and spent an early evening at Gourmet au Bay, the local wine bar. The house has a great view of the ocean, and we could see the sea lions on the offshore rocks through the telescope. This was our second visit here, and we look forward to our return.

What a wonderful getaway! My husband and I had enjoyed a long weekend in this beautiful home. The weather was chilly in the mornings, but sunny and bright throughout the day. The views are spectacular and the sunsets are breathtaking. The amenties to this home are well above any that we have stayed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need. A place where you can forget about your daily grind. I wished that we could have stayed longer, but we shall return!

Fantastic Stay at the Bahia Retreat

Stayed for four days with my family during a warm winter spell and had a wonderful visit! The view is amazing and all across the house! The house is clean, spacious and well appointed. Our children enjoyed the den downstairs where they could use the computer and watch the HDTV, The adults held festivities in the upstairs living room. We would all gather for meals in the dining area - the dining room table is my favorite, with equal sides and a big lazy susan in the middle. Most enjoyable time - we will be back!

Fantastic Rental Home

We had three couples staying for a long weekend, including our annual BBQ, a golf day and a wine tasting day. We loved this house!!! It is furnished to a far higher standard than a typical rental house, and has beautiful ocean views throughout. The house was very clean and had nice touches throughout. We had deer and bunnies right outside the rear bedroom windows - bit of a surprise in the early morning! We give the house our highest recommendation!

We went there for memorial day weekend in 2011 for 2 nights. We were looking for a place to relax, have some good food and bar-b-que, enjoy the ocean view. This rental was just the perfect place for all of these. It is such a beautifully maintained house inside, that you might actually be sad when you leave..The house is much more beautiful than it is shown in the pictures. It had all amenities and every little thing that you could have imagined. The patio was just the right size and the right location.. You can enjoy bar-b-que with nice ocean view in front of you, occasionally visited by different species of small birds. The bedrooms were very nice and all bedrooms had a view of the ocean..Even the kitchen had an ocean view. The neighbourhood was quiet and everything was just perfect. Everyone in our group of 6 adults enjoyed the stay.. Looking forward to be back to this place again!!

Thank you for renting your home to my family. This was the perfect place to gather the extended family for a long weekend. Your house is the best equipped rental home and is kept in fantastic shape! This is the third time I have stayed at this home with a group of friends. We have been coming to Bodega Bay for eight years. We changed our rental homes every year until we came here, but we decided this was the one where we would always come back. This is not furnished like a rental home - the furnishings, cookware, dishes, etc. are far superior to other places where we have stayed. The layout is fantastic - all bedrooms and the living room have an ocean view. This is our home away from home, and I can give it my strongest recommendation!

Wonderful Celebration

Bahia Retreat was an amazing place to stay for relaxation, wine tasting, good eats, wildlife encounters, beach walks, etc. etc. The home is clean, warm, well supplied, and shows pride of ownership. We had the pleasure of staying a week for a birthday celebration and enjoyed every moment. Cooking at home with the great seafood from The Tides market and oysters from Hog Island Oyster Farm in Tomales Bay and great wine from the Russian River area was the highlight of our retreat. Dinner at Bistro Des Copains in Occidental was great. The weather was spectacular, chilly nights and sunny days. Coming from Hawaii it was such a treat to enjoy the fire places. The owner was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Look forward to doing it again.

This is a wonderful house. VERY clean and well appointed. The views are fantastic and the wildlife is amazing to watch. Deer right in the yard while sitting in the hot tub. Quiet neighborhood. A great hike to a very nice beach with incredible tide pools. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Can't say enough good about the whole experience. Would highly recommend a stay here. Better than the pictures!

This house is so amazing with the ocean views, beautiful decor, cleanliness, and wildlife! This is probably the best rental in the area, so there is no need to look further. Our family stayed 4 nights and did not want to leave, because the beaches are wonderful in the day, beautiful sunsets, and the hot tub and stars at night are so serene. The Bahia Retreat book they put together is so helpful as it details everything to do in the area, including restaurants and phone numbers. We loved eating our breakfast and looking out at the deer grazing right outside the window, and watching the birds soar above; so much wildlife! We highly recommend this vacation rental home, and will definitely be back.

This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. Your house is full of light with great views from almost anywhere inside. We had a lot of deer, quail, hares, rabbits and various birds passing right in back. We had some fantastic evenings staring at the incredible stars with the occasional shooting star going by, and we could hear the seals and waves when we went to sleep. We have pledged to make this an annual visit.

Thank you for renting to us for our girls' retreat. We loved the house and the view, and the way you have furnished throughout. We spent our days wandering around the beaches, and the evenings cooking gourmet meals and lollygagging in the hot tub. I have never seen the Milky Way as clearly as I did here! This was our third house we have tried in Bodega Bay and our unanimous favorite.

We had a small 50th birthday weekend with a group of close friends, and your house was ideal! We all walked down to the beach everyday and saw whales twice - then back at the house we enjoyed the deer, rabbits, quail and other animals that came by right behind the house. Thank you for your restaurant recommendations - we loved both Terrapin Station and Rocker Oysterfeller's! You have a beautiful home, and have taken a lot of care to provide nice linens and kitchenware, far better than other rental homes where we have stayed before. Bahia Retreat is one of the best homes we have stayed at in this area. This is our tenth year of renting a home for a long weekend with our friends and we all agreed it was our best. The best views and the open floorplan of the home were the highlights. We enjoyed the telescope. The appliances and BBQ were great and everything was in excellent working order including the spa.

We have rented homes for many years and rarely (if ever) have we had a more enjoyable, peaceful experience. Your home is beautiful. So are the views and environment around it. Plus, you made us feel welcome to be there, not as if we were intruding. Got back this afternoon from the Bahia Retreat. We had a GREAT time!! It was a wonderful get away for the Girls!!!! I can't thank you enough!! We had lunch today at Nick's Cove. The food was awesome and what great weather we had! Went to Osmosis for massages yesterday. I was all excited about the Freestone bakery, only to find it CLOSED on Tuesday!! That was the only downer of the trip. Thanks again!

Fabulous house!! Your pictures on the website do not do the home justice.
