Enjoy the panoramic views of Glacier National Park from this beautiful upstairs lodging. Large picture windows face the west where the Rocky Mountains fill the horizon. Watch for moose, elk, deer, and Canadian Geese who frequent the land around the property. There is only one apartment unit, which assures you of privacy, peace and quiet. Our guest apartment is the perfect place to relax. The living room has comfortable seating for up to eight guests, and is set up for an evening of entertainment or to just relax after a busy day. Along with the incredible views from the large picture windows, there is a fireplace which provides a warm glow for romantic evenings after the sun has set and the stars come out. The lodge is equipped with TV, DVD, stereo, satelite, and a library of movies, music, books and games for your entertainment . The dining area, kitchen, and living room share a beautiful open area with plenty of sunshine and mountain views. The kitchen is fully appointed with granite countertops, brand-new appliances, and all the tools needed to whip up the perfect meal. The cabinets are hand-crafted by Carl, who has been designing and selling his woodworking for over thirty years.
The balcony, which is furnished with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating, provides a great gathering area for barbecues and watching incredible sunsets. The backyard offers lots of room for setting up a badminton game or vollyball, and there is a horsehoe pit out in the horse pasture. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen beds and each is decorated with local themes; The Fisherman's Retreat, the Beargrass Room, and the Bear Den. The Beargrass Room is quite roomy and in addition to the queen bed, also has a queen futon sofa for either a comfy sitting nook or extra sleeping.
Plenty of hiking and fishing can be found right out the back door. In the winter, there are cross country trails that can be accessed from our property. The Two Medicine entrance to Glacier Park is only a twenty-mintute drive away, which boasts one of the most scenic lakes in the park. There are boat concessions, miles of hiking trails, and a historical campstore which is well stocked with park information, gear, and gifts. The town of East Glacier Park is three miles away and offers grocery stores, fine restaurants, gift shops, and a post office. For large groups, such as weddings, reunions, or retreats, our property is adjacent to vrbo listing # 95176, and both properties can be rented together to accomodate up to 16 guests.
