Accommodations: Notting Hill Apartment - 3 Bedrooms + Attached Unit - 3 Baths - (Sleeps 6-8)

Bed 1 - London, England Vacation Notting Hill is one of the most fashionable district in the heart of London in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.Our apartment is located in quiet leafy cul de sac with the added benifit of being in close vicinity of all amenities and major tourist sights. The location is ideal for families and professionals alike. The apartment consists of three bedrooms, an open plan kitchen and a dining area plus a large lounge.The master bedroom has a King size bed, two very large fitted wardrobes and an en suite marble bath with jacuzzi. You can access the patio from the bedroom through French doors.The second bedroom comprises of a double bed, a walk in wardrobe and a red marbled en suite shower room. The third bedroom has two single beds, a walk in wardrobe and access to the patio. There is a fourth annex room with a sofa bed too for larger parties. The lounge has two double and a triple sofa. An office desk with computer is also part of this large lounge. The L sahpe Kitchen and dining area is spacious and inviting. All the modern cooking utensil and linens are provided and we believe you will find our apartment a true home away from home. The nearest tube station is Notting Hill Gate and a map of entire London public transport system can be down loaded from tfl while a map of our apartment surrounding area can be viewed on google/maps by inserting the postcode W2 4HJ. Our 3 bed apartment is located only a few minute's walk from Kensington Gardens where you can enjoy a walk in Princess Diana Playground or visit her former home of Kensington Palace. Hyde Park and Holland park are also close by and these are ideal locations for families with young children and lovers of open spaces. Kensington High Street with all the famous designer clothes stores is about five minute walk away as well as a huge selection of trendy restaurants, cafes and bars that can cater for even the most demanding palates. Furthermore, Portobello Market which takes place every Saturday in Portobello road is the ideal place to spot an antique bargain as well as shopping for deli food and fresh flowers. With over 90 antique shops open all the week around, Portobello road is the art lovers shopping paradise. Oxford street with all the main high street stores as well as Marble Arch and the Victoria and Albert Museum are in close vicinity. Last but not least, Notting Hill hosts the Notting Hill Carnival which takes place the last week end of August and this is considered the world's biggest street festival outside Rio.

The Bear uses the provided computer & phone to plan the events for the next day VRBO Bear stayed here - 07/07/2007 - on site review: Bears love comfort, and this lovely flat was perfect for a London holiday with the wife and cubs. The large living room and kitchen area provided plenty of space for lounging about, and we saved a bundle being able to cook and eat some of our meals ‘at home.’ Had it not been summer, we would have found the beds comfortable enough for our winter hibernation. Bears also love convenience, and the Notting Hill location put everything we wanted to do within easy reach. The underground station is only a short walk around the corner, and between the underground and walking, we were able to get to the many exciting sights and activities of London within 45 minutes, and often under 20 minutes. There are a number of good take-aways, restaurants and authentic British pubs within walking distance, as well as a grocery, a chemist, two book stores and two Starbucks. Finally, bears love pampering, and our host made sure we were pampered by having fresh fruit and wine waiting for us upon our arrival. The provided telephone and computer with wireless internet access were also very nice to have. And while we never had the need, it was comforting to know that our host was only a phone call away if a problem arose. We loved our stay in Notting Hill, and we are certain that you will too.
