The Caribbean at Gulf Place is a four-story condominium less than 50 yards away from South Walton’s sandy white beaches and emerald waters. This fourth floor unit has just been massively remodeled with all new furniture, new mattresses , new sofa, new love seat, new queen pullout bed, new carpeting, new carpet padding, new granite kitchen counter tops, new flooring, new front loading washer/dryer, three new Sony HDTV's with 30' TV's in each bedroom and a 46' TV in the living area. Cable package was upgraded with premium channels to take advantage of the HDTV's.

The large living and kitchen areas are perfect for relaxation and entertaining. The dining room table seats four and the granite wet bar also seats four. There is a 46-inch HDTV and DVD player along with stereo in the living area. Everything you need for the perfect, cozy getaway! There are two master bedrooms each with its own bath, own HDTV's and queen beds. The kids will enjoy the bunk beds and a queen size roll out sofa in the living area provides sleeping for up to eight people.
Enjoy the resort community of Gulf Place with boutique shopping and restaurants. The development also includes three swimming pools, two tennis courts, walking trails and an amphitheater for family activities including free concerts every Sunday evening. For family fun, there's a 15-mile bike path just out your door. There's plenty to keep you busy in Santa Rosa Beach with some of the best five star restaurants in the world. Family restaurants are also numerous. Our favorite family restaurants are The Red Bar in Grayton Beach and Stinlky's Fish Camp just one mile west of the condo. If you want to venture out to the Destin area, you'll have a short 10 or 15 minute drive just 10 miles to the west of Gulf Place. The communities of Grayton Beach and Seaside are just five miles to the east.

My family and I have been vacationing at Gulf Place Caribbean for about ten years now and this was by far our best experience. Upon entering the condo on the first day, the lights were on and music was playing- already we felt welcomed! We appreciated some of the little extras- beach chairs, beach umbrella, and some household items, a great washer and dryer... The condo was impeccably clean. We really enjoyed our stay at GPC 412. We are a family of 4 (2 kids, 9 & 12). I can't imagine a better location or view for the money...very close to the beach but without the beachfront cost. PROs: The listing gives a good description of the unit, which was spotless on our arrival. The owner was very helpful before we got there, as well as during the week. It was nice to know he was in town if we had any problems or concerns (which we didn't). The view from the deck was WONDERFUL! CONs: The bathrooms are small (no, you don't spend a lot time there, but I thought you should know). It would have been nice to have a king-size bed in one of the bedrooms.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The owner is extremely accomodating and helpful. The location and view are priceless and we enjoyed having access to multiple pools. The condo was recently updated. It is an easy walk to the beach with young children.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
