We have stayed at Kamaole Sands resort many times and were very pleased with this condo. It is very clean and very well decorated with quality furnishings and linens. This condo is also very well stocked. As Lis and Bob maintain this condo on their own, there is no detail that has been overlooked. Lis is great to communicate with when booking this condo and you can turn to her for any advice you many need in regards to your stay in Maui. The listing and pictures accurately describe this condo. We would recommend this condo.

A perfect honeymoon getaway!!

Wow, what a spot! The condo was exceptionally clean, and had EVERYTHING we could ever need while in Maui! It is clear to see that the owners take great pride in their place, and ensure nothing is left out. It was very convenient having a washer and dryer, as well as beach gear and extra toiletries. The location is superb, as the beach is a stone's throw away! The grounds and pool area are also kept in tip top shape as well...always gardeners and cleaners out and about. This condo helped make our honeymoon to Maui an unforgettable experience!!! To those who worry about renting from a private owner, DON'T!! Lis and Bob are excellent to deal with, and offer their assistance from the time you book right up until the time you check out of the condo. When we come back to Maui, we will definintely be renting this condo again!

We stayed at the condo and enjoyed our vacation so much. The condo was clean, very nicely renovated, beautifully decorated, fully equipped with all the conveniences during the stay and strategically located in Kihei. We were so glad that we chose their condo versus a hotel. The breeze through the unit was so calming and relaxing. The view from the condo was pretty, there was the water fountain and the beach across the street. We will not hesitate to come back and highly recommend to friends and family.

We have just returned from a wonderful vacation in this beautiful, well appointed condo. For us, the location was great as we could walk to restaurants, shops, etc. and the beach was a short walk across the road. Lis and Bob were most helpful and always available to answer questions or give us suggestions. I would certainly recommend this property to friends or relatives.

From our first contact with Lis & Bob to our final goodbyes, the experience has been very professional. Lis kept us informed all the way through the process and was always extremely helpful. As for the accommodation, I would have to rate it a Five-Star. Obviously a lot of thought, detail and money went into creating a truly luxuriousl home away from home. The design and decor was top quality, far surpassing anything we had experienced before at Kamaole Sands. Many units are lovely but this was first class all the way. The photos only tell half the story as the real thing is so much more beautiful. Fabulous kitchen to work in with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. The best part was the oversized lanai (balcony). What a treat is was to lounge there for some R&R and a fine place to have dinner each night and watch the sun setting. What is truly special are the small things, the details. The owners have thought of everything and we could be very happy living there permanently. You will never go wrong renting this condo I guarantee it! Finally, congratulations to Bob & Lis for the fine work you do with your volunteer organization in Kihei. Because of people like you who volunteer to make Kihei a better place for the locals, you also make it so much better for those of us who call Maui home for a short time. If we stayed longer next time, we'd love to get involved to better your community. Bravo!

This condo, 10-213, was gorgegous - very tastefully decorated and well stocked with vacation essentials such as beach chairs and boogie boards. The kitchen is also very well stocked making it easy to prepare your own meals. The resort itself was really nice too - lovely grounds, large pool, excellent BBQ areas, extremely clean and very well maintained. We loved the location - right across the street from Kamaole Beach III and within walking distance of a number of really good restaurants (loved the view of Keawapaku Beach from the outdoor seating at The Five Palms). Thanks, Lis, for making our first time to Hawaii so very special! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic condo across from Kamaole Beach III - a perfect vacation rental

My partner and I stayed at Lis & Bob's beautiful condo in Jan 2011 for 2 weeks, leaving icy Canada behind. The condo is beautiful, completely furnished with everything you could want including kitchen appliances, beach gear & even coolers for you to use! Lis was a delight to deal with, even providing some breakfast supplies for me for the first morning after a late night arrival. She was very responsive to any questions that came up during my stay. I hope we have the chance to return to Maui & when we do, Lis will be the first contact I make to try to secure this lovely condo. Right across the street from Kamaole Beach III, we were able to keep our car parked in the lot while we beached during the day. And a great price to boot! Highly recommend it!

Wonderful 1st time to Maui

I loved this condo! I was very un easy about renting over the internet, and I did not know what to expect. I am a little OCD about everything being in the perfect spot, and clean from top to bottom. This condo was perfectly decorated with all brand new appliances (which is always a +), I did not come across any "little critters" during my stay, and the bed was very comfortable (which was another concern of mine), and the beach was right across the street (while also having a nice view off the lanai). It rained the yearly annual rainfall in a two day period, and the owner emailed us everyday with different ideas of fun things to do while the weather was not working with us ;). I will definately stay here again! Was a very pleasant eperience!

We don't get a lot of rain in Kihei and we've just had drought conditions for years so we've been very, very dry.... but that all changed on the very day you arrived for your first visit ever to Maui. And it poured for a couple of days! You were great sports and a pleasure to suggest alternative activities to.... and you were so sweet to say what fun you had afterward! There is not much we can do about Mother Nature, but you figured out how to make lemonade out of lemons! Luckily, you also got some well-deserved sunshine during your stay. I'm Impressed!

This unit has everything you'll need. Make a trip to the grocery store and the rest is covered. The kitchen is fully equipped. The photos are accurate but don't fully do the condo justice. Building #10 is by far the most coveted. The lanai is like having a second living room. The storage closet has everything you need for a day at the beach. The bathrooms are very nice with quality towels and good water pressure and the washer/dryer unit is very handy. The beds (King and sofa) are comfortable with nice linens. The big flatscreen tv, dvd player and docking station for our iPod (Awesome!) The parking space is convenient as you have your own side entrance for coming and going. The elevator comes in handy when your hands are full. The unit is extremely clean and well adorned throughout. And last but not least, the view from the lanai is filled with vibrant colors and within earshot of the ocean. We've rented several different condos in Maui and this one by far had the best accommodations and at the best price. It's no wonder that it is booked well in advance. I'll be back Lis...!

We stayed here for a week in November. What a terrific condo! Clean and spacious it was perfectly stocked with everything you would need during your stay. From kitchen tools to beach accessories. Lis was extremely organized with a wide variety of suggestions and resources. The condo was more than enough for two adults. On top of all this wi-fi and parking are part of the package. The location was very central and easy to navigate from one end of Maui to the other. The beach across the street was certainly swimming friendly and while we were there about medium busy. It's easy to move to another beach if this one was too crowded. The grounds were well kept and clean and BBQ pits are available if you wanted to use them. Lis was fantastic to deal with and very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return next time we go to Maui, highly recommended!

A piece of paradise

Every review is true - this is one of the best located, well-equipped, beautifully remodelled condos you will find and we've stayed in a lot of them. We are golfers and this is an easy drive to all our favourite courses like Elleaire, Kahili. the Dunes and Pukalani where you can get the best value. We also love the tennis courts which are in great shape. A bonus is the helpfulness of the owners and their proximity should you have any issues. You will love it here.

5 star condo!

Our stay at this condo, which was recently remodeled, was outstanding. Every room is beautiful, clean and well stocked. The kitchen has everything you would need including pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, coffee, spices, nuts and so much more. The refrigerator had many condiments as well. There is an information book with restaurant reviews, sites to see, places to shop, grocery store locations, etc. The TV and Wi-fi computer connections worked well. The beautiful ocean view from the lanai is relaxing and the view includes a pond with a fountain that changes colors at night as well as several plumeria trees on the picturesque grounds. There are several beaches within walking distance that begin just across the street from the condo. My husband found a fantastic place to snorkel just to the left of the condo. Look for the tour boats that anchor to allow people to snorkel. Also, there is a closet on the lanai with beach items including flippers, chairs, umbrellas etc. The pool, spa and barbecues with adjacent tables were perfect for our needs. We were extremely pleased with the accommodations and look forward to returning.

We came to Maui to get away from our hectic lives and found ourselves so relaxed that we could have stayed for at least a second week. The condo. is beautiful and it has everything you could need in it. We enjoyed our time at the pool and the barbeques were cleaned daily and ready for our use anytime. The amenities were well kept and the complex was very quiet and relaxing. We found ourselves sleeping with the front door open every night(of,course we had the security door locked) and were suprised at how peaceful it was. With the beach just across the street, we were able to enjoy more time there than in the car. This was definintly the most comfortable condo we have stayed in and we will definintly return.

Great Condo

My wife and I stayed at this condo for 6 nights in July. Everything in the condo was in excellent condition, as we were the first people to stay there after the renovation. The condo is well stocked with everything you could need, including items for the beach. The location in Kihei is excellent for beaches, shopping and restaurants. What I appreciated most though, is that the owners really seem to care about their condo and their guests. We hope to stay in this condo on our next visit to Maui, and I would recommend this condo highly.

This condo has everything you could possibly need. We both love cooking and using the barbeque, so appreciate that the kitchen has everything we need. The owners are very attentive to the details, making us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. They were also very quick to answer any questions and were very helpful prior to our arrival. The king-sized bed is super comfortable, which is important when you are staying for a month as we do. We have been coming to South Kihei for several years and have been staying in this particular unit for the last 3 years. The location cannot be beat. Don’t forget to find the big mango tree on the Kam Sands grounds. They ripen in 3 – 4 days and are the best. The beaches here are the best. Thank you Lis and Bob for making our stay at your lovely condo so enjoyable! We will definitely return. Diane and Mike
