Looking for lots of activities and room to spread out? Visit our paired cabin completed in 2007. Bring your friends - it's all here in beautiful Granby Ranch and under 2 hours from Denver. We are located at the Sol Vista resort less than a tenth of a mile from the base/lifts.
The views are amazing: Rocky Mountain National Park, Byers Peak and range vistas for miles. Sit on the porches and breathe the clean mountain air.
Play outside all day or take a break for lunch and relax. There are two full size leather sofas, recliner & ottoman. Snuggle up, turn on the gas fireplace and enjoy our big TV. Bring the laptop if you choose. Cook gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen.
The master with bath offers a king bed on the second floor. There are two bedrooms downstairs along with a second full bath. The second master suite has a queen bed and features sliding doors to the covered patio/hot tub area. The guest room has a queen bed with extra-long twin bunk. There is an aerobed sofa sleeper in the great room as well. Pack light - we have a full size washer & dryer.
There are lots of fun things to do here: Visit Hot Sulphur Springs and sample over 20 hot springs. Visit Rocky Mountain Park in the Winter - it is breathtaking. Go tubing in Fraser, rent a snowmobile in Grand Lake. Rewind in your own private hot tub while looking at the Colorado stars & night sky.
We have already had snow in October! - It's time to book for the 2010 Season. The mountains had great snow conditions in both 2008 & 2009. Solvista Resort is a great place for families and friends. The resort ski season opens before Christmas and runs through end of March. For more experienced skiers/boarders, there are plenty of intermediate and advanced runs. Winter Park and Mary Jane offer even more challenges and are just 10-15 minutes away. Winter Park open in November and closes in mid April. We are located at the SilverCreek Solvista Ski Resort. Let the kids go out on their own. All runs converge together at the base of the mountains.
The towns of Grand Lake, Granby & Winter Park are nearby with unique shops, galleries and restaurants & local breweries. Visit the nice Mediterranean restaurant at the Solvista Resort - great pizza. The grill also features local microbrews on tap. There is a large Safeway grocery store at the entrance to the resort for day to day supplies.
This is truly a vacation paradise. Come enjoy it!

Why the Owner Chose Sol Vista
We love vacationing in the Rockies. The clean mountain air, the views for miles, the fishing, the golf, the hiking, the mountain biking....so much to do.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Granby Ranch has it all - Golf at the resort's Headwaters Golf Course or any of the other wonderful mountain courses within 15 miles. Take lots of pictures. Reserve a private stretch of the Fraser River and fish. Hike the area trails, ride in or watch the mountain bikes races at Solvista. We stay very busy here...and sometimes not so busy. Relax in the hot tub - and enjoy the view.
There is no construction in our area of Peakview. This is an old Google picture. These homes were completed in 2007.
Very nice selection and clean. Get the grocery card and save on both food and gasoline!
Sports bar here if you need it. Right at the entrance to Granby Ranch at Village road.
Less than 1/10th of a mile from the base & lifts - very nice! The Seven Trails Grille is a nice restaurant with a view of the slopes....and local microbrews.
All runs converge together at base of resort. These runs are green & blue - let the kids go on their own.
Black runs - all runs still converge at the base. The Lodge is right there as a meeting point.
So convenient and great views! Golf in the high mountains - altitude means great distance on the fairway!
Restaurants: Pearl Dragon for Chinese, Mavericks for steaks, LongBranch for German food, Ians Bakery for fresh baked breads/goodies - yum!
Just 10 minutes to Grand Lake and on to the Park - have the recorder & camera ready. Wildlife sightings are everywhere.
On the other side of the mountain range - never knew it was there until we saw the Google map. Knew there was a train by the Golf Course and wondered where it came from.
Take a drive up here - top of the mountain. The views are incredible....miles and miles to see. And these homesites are for sale. :-)
