Location 200 yards from the SolVista Ski lifts. Unwind in the private hot tub while looking at the Colorado stars. Solvista/Granby Ranch is a great place for your family. Tiny kids to adults - everyone learns to ski, usually in a day. Let the kids go out on their own...all runs converge at the base of the two mountains. There are 34 trails of beginner, intermediate & advanced runs. Winter Park and Mary Jane offer more variation and challenging runs. Solvista closes 4/3/2011. WP/MJ closes April 24, 2012.
We are cozy! Leather sofas, recliner & chaise lounge...snuggle up, turn on the gas fireplace. Bring the laptop, we have wireless internet. Prepare great meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Dining table seats 8 plus bar stools for 3 more.

There's more to do! The tubing hill in Fraser is an absolute must. A huge icy hill, a truck size tube & 1000 ft to fly. Rent snow mobiles and explore - lots of open terrain to rip through. Visit Hot Sulphur Springs. There is ice fishing on the reservoir lakes. Plan to visit Rocky Mountain Park. The winter season is beautiful. We are 20 minutes from the Park entrance. The snow on the meadows and mountains is gorgeous. The road is open for several miles. Watch the meadows for moose. The towns of Grand Lake, Granby & Winter Park are nearby with unique shops, cool galleries, great restaurants & really neat micro-breweries. Visit the Seven Trails Grill restaurant at the Solvista clubhouse. Sit at the counter and watch the kids come down the trails. Menu items include great pizza & local brews on tap. There is a large grocery store nearby for day to day supplies. Granby is centrally located - lots to explore within a few hours drive time. SteamBoat Springs, Vail, Boulder, Golden, Estes Park, Aspen - all easy day trips.

Why the Owner Chose SolVista
We love vacationing in the Rockies. The clean mountain air, the views for miles, the ski/boarding fun, the fishing, the golf, the hiking, the mountain biking....so much to do.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Granby Ranch has it all - Golf at the resort's Headwaters Golf Course or any of the other wonderful mountain courses within 15 miles. Take lots of pictures. Reserve a private stretch of the Fraser River and fish. Hike the area trails, ride in or watch the mountain bikes races at Solvista. Ski & board at Solvista, Winter Park, Mary Jane, scream down the tubing hill in Fraser.... We stay very busy here - and sometimes not so busy. Relax in the hot tub and enjoy the view.
There is no construction in our area of Peakview. This is an old Google picture. These homes were completed in 2007.
Very nice selection and clean. Get the grocery card and save on both food and gasoline!
Sports bar here if you need it. Right at the entrance to Granby Ranch at Village road.
Less than 1/10th of a mile from the base & lifts - very nice! The Seven Trails Grille is a nice restaurant with a view of the slopes....and local microbrews.
All runs converge together at base of resort. These runs are green & blue - let the kids go on their own.
Black runs - all runs still converge at the base. The Lodge is right there as a meeting point.
So convenient and great views! Golf in the high mountains - altitude means great distance on the fairway!
Restaurants: Pearl Dragon for Chinese, Mavericks for steaks, LongBranch for German food, Ians Bakery for fresh baked breads/goodies - yum!
Just 10 minutes to Grand Lake and on to the Park - have the recorder & camera ready. Wildlife sightings are everywhere.
Take a drive up here - top of the mountain. The views are incredible....miles and miles to see. And these homesites are for sale. :-)
