My husband and I came down for my high school class reunion (in Mobile) and decided we wanted to spend part of our time at the beach so we rented this perfect vacation home!! It is in a wonderful location with access to the canal in the back and the beach is just a short walk in the front. The house had everything we needed and was amazingly spotless!! We had a very minor issue (burned out bulb in the ktichen) and I emailed Sam and he was out and had it replaced in no time. We loved walking on the beach and my husband had a great time fishing from the dock in the back. We rent often through VRBO and have seldom been disappointed but this place far exceeded my expectations. I hope we well be able to return!

We had a great time. It was very accessible to the canal for our kids to fish and play. It was a short walk to the beach which was beautiful and peaceful. The house was equipped with all the amenities that we needed. Sam, the landlord also gave us some helpful information before we arrived. We would stay here again if we go back for vacation.

Thanks so much! This was such a great little house for our trip to the Gulf! My husband enjoyed all of the options that he had for fishing, although he did most of it from the dock and in the surf. Everything about the house was just as described, and better. We are excited about the fact I was told I would have to return to the area for school a few more times, because we will get to stay with you again! Thanks for everything, and see you again soon!

We just got back from our second trip to this house and it was even better the second time around. Sam is a great landlord. The house has everything you could want; affordabilty, comfort, ammenities, location...you cannot beat it. We have decided instead of going anywhere else on vacation that this house will be it. We look forward to booking every year. If you want it all RENT THIS HOUSE!!! I just hope I am not shooting myself in the foot and lose out on the week we can go. You better book early if you want to beat me to it!

We had a few days off work & decided to take the advice of that familiar song, "Won't you pack your bags, we'll leave tonight". We arrived on Saturday in time to watch a romantic sunset on the beach. We enjoyed 3 wonderful days of doing nothing but what we felt like doing… ferry ride to Fort Morgan, stroll through the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, enjoying God’s handiwork – the beautiful beach landscape. The house was immaculate. Sam thought of everything from dish soap to laundry detergent. When it was time to return home, the interstates close to home were closed due to snow & ice conditions. Sam was wonderful to us & helped us through this challenge. In the words of “Arnold”…. We’ll be back!

This house was great and roomy and very well equiped. Dauphin Island is a very relaxing laid back place. The beach a nice short walking distance which our dogs loved walking to. It was nice have the gas grill to cook some meals on. Sam was very helpful and available when we needed something. We hope to be able to go back next year.

The house exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed it very much. There is a little walkway to a dock on the canal where we hung out a lot and went swimming. And when we wanted the beach, we just walked the short distance across the street and to the beach. The house was very clean and had all of the luxuries of home. And I can't say enough great things about Sam (the owner). He was very accessible via email and always answered my questions quickly. We just left yesterday and I noticed this morning that he has already refunded my security deposit. Overall it was just a wonderful experience.

Go Fish was a perfect getaway for our family. The landlord was very helpful and easy to work with. The house was very roomy (we have a family of 5) and had all the amenities. I was especially impressed with the "extras" (i.e., laundry soap, bath soap, dishwasher detergent, etc.). Most places we've rented before we've had to provide those things, so this was a plus! The house was clean and well maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. Sitting on the front deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and the sound of the waves was paradise. We would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Go to "Go Fish" if you are looking for a thoughtful, helpful landlord, and a charming and comfortable cottage. From your back deck you can view birds and ducks on the canal, and see the bridge to the island along with the waters of Mississippi Sound. The Gulf of Mexico can be viewed from the front and side decks, and it is an easy stroll to the white sand beaches. My husband and I (and our guests) were totally taken with "Go Fish" from the comfortable beds to the well-supplied kitchen. Fish and crab from your own dock. Enjoy lazy hours in the sun. There is no other place like Dauphin Island, Alabama. Kids "of all ages" will love "Go Fish."
