Luxury and nature come together at this beautifully decorated beach home located on a private pond in the Exclusive Oceanside Spinnakers Reach community. The house is walking distance to the ocean, but you’ll probably opt to pile your stuff on the golf cart (which comes with the house) and head off to the wide, private beach that awaits. With its calmer, crystal blue waters, this pet-friendly beach is truly one-of a kind.
Named "Cloud 9," this house really does rise above the rest. The home was designed to accommodate multiple families and is stocked with everything imaginable to create the perfect vacation. And even your canine companion is welcome on this get-away! We tried to think of everything when building this house, like an elevator for elderly or handicapped guests (and those heavy suitcases) to an open and modern kitchen stocked with everything you should need to prepare food for a week. The rental cost includes sheets and towels, as well as a daily bed-making service, so you can feel like you are truly on vacation.
Past renter's have raved about the home’s colorful, yet very tasteful décor that makes spending time inside the house just as fun as the outdoor activities. And should you have to do work (though we hope not), you can access the high-speed wireless network from anywhere inside as well out on the decks. Keep your eyes open and you're sure to see "our" family of deer graze across the lawn as well as the turtles, ducks and herons in the pond. Indoors you’ll find hardwood floors, granite countertops, and the finest furnishings. All rooms with beds are equipped with a Cable TV, and most have King-sized beds. Cloud 9 has 4 bedrooms, plus a "den" with a Queen bed (it's a fully private with armoire for clothes...just no closet so we can't call it a bedroom). There’s also a bunk room with a fun, surf mural, that’s perfect for kids. An elevator connects all three levels. Plus, there’s a loft that is the perfect spot for pecking on your laptop or playing a game of foosball.
The Great Room, with its two huge sofas and game table, is the ideal setting for watching movies or playing cards. The house even has a library of movies and games. Ping-pong can be enjoyed on the first level. Yep, we really did try to think of everything!
Outdoors you’ll find a private lighted-pool that’s truly private for sunbathing and swimming. There’s a hot tub located next to pool, perfect for star gazing. And a picnic table, complete with plastic trays and dinnerware, is ideal for poolside dining. The home’s wide decks are inviting for either catching rays or enjoying some shade while watching the kids swim in the pool.
The community also has a small playground for kids and a community pool with restrooms located right off the beach, all with adjacent golf cart parking available.
Within a 5-minute drive, you’ll find grocery stores, gift shops, restaurants, tennis courts, movie theatre, and water-slide park. You can also rent bikes or play a round of mini-golf. Within 15-20 miles, you can visit historic sites, the state aquarium, play golf or horse-back ride on the beach. Yes…Emerald Isle is a pretty fabulous vacation spot!
