The La Costa 2 bed 2 bath condo is on the first floor with direct views of the ocean from the lounge, kitchen, dining area and beachfront balcony ( see attached pictures ). The balcony is screened to avoid bugs and faces the beach and ocean ( only 60 yds away at high tide!) with space for a table and chairs. It is directly on the beach with access to over 7.5 miles of the main soft white sandy beach.
THE CONDO WAS TOTALLY UPGRADED and offers a new, fully equipped kitchen, with granite worktops, a washer dryer in the unit, upgraded living area and bedrooms and new tiled flooring throughout . There is a TV ( over 120 channels ) and a DVD player, in the open plan lounge which links the dining and kitchen areas.
FREE WIFI internet access.
The master bedroom has a King bed, 26 flat screeen inch TV, an ensuite walk in shower room, separate his n hers new granite vanity area and closet space. It has French doors, which when open offer a view of the beach

No ceiling fans. Air conditioning very poor. Would not cool the condo down even in May. Would not reccommend.
Owner response:Sorry to hear about your comments re the cooling of the unit. Although we have just received your comments we did install a fan with lights on the back bedroom in June Our local maintenance team would have been only too happy to help to check and or repair the A/C for you and we do in fact have portable fans available However we show no contact with the local office regarding these issues during your stay Regards Tim Leibe

The beach is so close to this unit, the view is like a painting. You will not find a more perfect sun-set from the convienence of your balcony. La Costa is located perfectly on the Island and is very convienent to Publix, Walgreens, places to eat, etc... This is the perfect beach for little kids, waves are calm, water is very clear, AMAZING! We found this unit to be very clean, updated, beds are comfortable. The washer and dryer are very nice. This unit has a unique layout that worked very well for my wife and I, and our 18 month old son. There is no sign of oil on Anna Maria Island, beautiful clear water, nice white sandy beaches. We loved the convienence of having a grill by the pool to use we grilled out two nights. I highly recommend the Sun House restaurant & Mar-Vista (long boat key). They are nice playgrounds for little children located next to Anna Maria Island Pier. I found the Mangement company of this unit to be very helpful. This unit is approx. 1 hour away from Florida Aquarium located in Tampa. We took our 18 month old there one day during our visit, he loved it. If you go with a little one, don't forget to bring a swim diaper and extra change of clothes as they have a splash water park at the aquarium. We will be back and will choose to stay at this exact same unit no questions ask!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
